The personalization and segmentation features – they make lifecycle campaigns super targeted and effective for our premium conversions.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing significant – it's very reliable overall. If anything, the initial learning curve for advanced flows was a bit steep, but support was great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Braze solves complex lifecycle communication challenges by enabling personalized push/email flows across channels, directly boosting our premium subscription conversions and user retention through targeted automation.

What I value most about Braze is its real-time data capabilities and powerful segmentation, enabling highly personalized, cross-channel engagement at scale. It provides strong automation and API flexibility, making it effective for driving measurable lifecycle impact.
What do you dislike about the product?
Braze can present a steep learning curve for new users, particularly when configuring complex segmentation and automation flows. Additionally, advanced customization and reporting often require deeper technical involvement, which can increase operational overhead for non-technical teams.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Braze addresses fragmented customer communication by centralizing data, segmentation, and cross-channel engagement within a single platform. It enables real-time, behavior-driven messaging, reducing manual campaign management and improving targeting accuracy. This drives stronger customer engagement, higher conversion rates, and more measurable lifecycle performance.
Intuitive Controls and Easy Ad Platform Connections
What do you like best about the product?
The controls and instructions are intuitive and easy to connect to ad marketing platforms. As a marketer, i am not the most tech advanced so drag drop + simple explainers help
What do you dislike about the product?
Because of how self serve it is + customisable, i would like to have some help on setting basic journeys. Its a huge sandbox for a beginner who doesnt know where to begin.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For my team, its about integrating CRM audiences with my marketing campaigns
Streamlined Cross-Channel Marketing with Intuitive Canvas
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the Canvas feature in Braze because its visual nature makes it easier to reason and iterate on complex user journeys. It's intuitive for creating different types of logics, timings, and branching once you get used to it, which reduces the need for engineers for day-to-day changes because marketers themselves can use it. Also, I remember the initial setup being very smooth.
What do you dislike about the product?
Reporting can probably be a bit more improved. It sometimes feels fragmented, and it's kind of hard to get a clean view of performance across channels or across multiple canvases without having to actually export the data and do some work with it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Braze to manage cross-channel planning for messaging outreaches from a single platform, making our campaigns more cohesive.
Probably the best customer engagement tool out there
What do you like best about the product?
I use Braze for a lot of things as a lifecycle marketing manager, and it's been really helpful. It activates newly registered users for our app, helps engage them, and ensures they discover all the features of the Lifesum app. It plays a big role in retention by making sure users come back and use the app for a long time. I find it probably most important for targeting free users with the right offers at the right time & channel to try and convert them into premium paying members. Plus, segmentation is a major help in making sure we find the right users for specific campaigns. We base this on their lifecycle stage, geography, demographics, or even specifics like BMI or gender. We also do a lot of segmentation for users from our B2B partners, kind of like account-based marketing. I think that the implementation setup was pretty straightforward; I wasn't part of the company back then. but from what I've heard, it took them about two months for the full setup. I'd say Braze is probably the best customer engagement software I've personally worked with.
What do you dislike about the product?
The email editing tools are still not first class as Braze was originally mobile-first so it's lagging a bit behind competitors who started out as email-first - however they've been working a lot on improving this area of the product. Also reporting wise, you still need to rely on external tools like Amplitude or Mixpanel to get the full picture, however, same as email, lots of improvements have happened there lately.

I use Braze for segmentation, setting up campaigns, and building canvases. It helps activate and engage users, improves retention, and targets free users to convert them into premium members. Segmentation ensures finding the right users for specific campaigns based on their lifecycle stage, geography, or demographics.
Seamless Multichannel Marketing with Strong Support
What do you like best about the product?
I really like my experience with Braze; it's great. The constant improvement of the platform and the use of AI stand out to me. The CSM team is also very responsive and attentive to our needs, which makes the experience smooth.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that the certificates are not free for Braze customers. They should not be paid, at least for the team that works hands-on with the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Braze for syncing data, building campaigns, and multichannel orchestration.
Straightforward Navigation That Makes Daily Info Easy to Find
What do you like best about the product?
Navigating through the menus is straightforward. I can easily find the information I need on a daily basis with just a few clicks.
What do you dislike about the product?
Based on my current needs, I don’t have anything I dislike about Braze.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I mainly use it to look up information about our users. Because the information is easy to access and all communication is kept in one place, it makes my work much easier.
Feature-Rich for Marketing but Needs UI Improvements
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Braze is pretty easy to use and offers a lot of features for controlling and fine-tuning audiences. The ability to dissect segments into sub-segments using segment extensions is quite helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI can be a little too clunky and it's not optimized for small screen laptops, so it ends up making it difficult to use across a variety of devices. It could also be more clear about what I have access to and don't, as it usually leaves a vague message which leaves me unsure if the data exists or if I just don't have access.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Braze for email marketing. It helps us utilize our PII data for marketing safety. It's pretty easy to use and has features for controlling and fine-tuning audiences, allowing us to dissect segments into subsegments using segment extensions.
Excellent Training, Support, and a Feature-Rich Platform
What do you like best about the product?
Excellent knowledge base and training opportunities make getting started and upskilling easy.

Consistent development and improvement of platform is evident, including growing suite of AI tools.

What do you dislike about the product?
The analytics and reporting features feel somewhat limited compared with the flexibility of the campaign-building and audience tools, have had to create a few workarounds to fit use cases.

Creating and managing targeted, strategic communications throughout the customer journey across a wide range of channels to deliver on core business objectives.
Effortlessly Pull Up Emails Every Time
What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is to pull up emails.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were better storage options, as our inbox is full.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Braze sends copies of missing information emails that were sent out to providers.
