Powerful engagement platform

What do you like best about the product?
Braze is a powerful all-in-one platform for email, push notifications, in-app messaging, SMS, web push, web messaging, and content cards. Braze has been a great partner, listening to feedback and taking product recommendations back to the appropriate teams. We've had great success using Braze. It has introduced many features that have helped our team's ability to scale new products and engage our user base. Braze has great personalization tools such as Liquid Logic, Connected Content, and webhooks that allow us to create unique, one-to-one journeys for our users that drive clear impact.
What do you dislike about the product?
Braze is quite expensive, as you have to pay for data point consumption. Once you've reached a level of sophistication with your attributes, events, and general scale, you are paying a lot to maintain and consume data required for developing engagement programs through Braze. Braze could improve upon its reporting capabilities as well as Canvas. The engagement report tool is clunky and difficult to use. Canvas is a great journey tool in theory, but there are many nuances with it that make it difficult to use. The team also recently implemented SMS as a new channel. As one of the first Braze customers to do so, the road to implementation was quite rocky. Braze could improve upon their onboarding processes for new products and features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Braze allows the team to create relationships with our users and keep them engaged. We have the ability to trigger a variety of communication types after key actions or behaviors without our product to nurture every stage of the lifecycle and funnel. Braze has powerful personalization features that improve overall campaign performance. Braze is also a key element to our ability to launch and scale new products or features.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure to investigate deeply what features you would leverage, and forecast clearly any associated costs to attributes, events, and other data points you would need to be successful with Braze as each data point consumed is a cost.

Solid when it comes to functionality; a very strong tool

What do you like best about the product?
Ability to very easily create reusable user segments; Canvas (multi-step campaigns) are very easy to use; With things like webhooks and liquid logic you can get very creative. There's usually half a dozen ways you can build your canvases in Braze to achieve what you're looking for.
What do you dislike about the product?
Email builder isn't tops, I'd recommend doing that outside of Braze and then uploading your finished html in to Braze. Analytics/reporting has historically not been great, but it is definitely starting to improve.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
User activation, user retention. Being able to make campaigns relevant to my users in terms of channel, timing, etc. Using liquid logic to personalise message content based on user data. I am able to clearly see when I have an uplift against control (or not!)

What do you like best about the product?
in our organization we have been using Braze for some time for our email marketing we have been using braze to create and send emails very easily in multiple campaigns with information about promotions and newsletters of our organization and thus be able to create and manage messages for everyone our customers and subscribers with personalized content Braze has provided us with a modern platform for email and mobile marketing, it has also benefited us from its integrations with segment and amplitude since our audience is properly segmented and thus all traces are correctly evaluated for U.S
What do you dislike about the product?
The only con that I found in braze during its use is that the learning curve of braze can be a bit uphill especially if you have not had an approach with a similar platform before and To be able to use braze efficiently and that you have optimal results you have to spend a lot of time
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Thanks to braze we have been able to have an efficient channel to communicate with our subscribers efficiently we have also been able to increase our number of subscribers with braze we have found a solution for that and the effectiveness of our campaigns is. Has increased by 1000 percent

What do you like best about the product?
The canvas feature is great for creating an automated flow of notifications for a cohort of users. It's simple and effective for engaging with your users.
What do you dislike about the product?
There have been times where features that cause complications have been enabled that I do not remember enabling. This is a rare occurrence.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
User engagement and retention. Our Growth team has seen a significant increase in user retention through the use of Braze.

What do you like best about the product?
Braze is very user friendly and has a support team that are always super helpful. Besides being happy with the overall platform, Braze LAB is super useful. There are so many possibilities within Braze for user engagement and it has opened up a whole new world of opportunities for testing new strategies and communication.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be a bit difficult to search within segments and campaigns
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Coming from a platform that didn't really meet our needs, Braze has opened up many more possibilities for targeting the right audience, retargeting, and using canvas as for onboarding, re-engage users have shown great results compared to capabilities we had on other platforms. It's easy to set up email campaigns on multiple languages using liquid and connected content.

What do you like best about the product?
- The possibility to use multi-channel messaging in a single campaign set-up.
- Endless possibilities for template customizations.
- The Customer Support is awesome.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's more a frustration than a dislike: It's not possible to bulk import multiple custom attributes into an audience, usually i need to insert them 1 by 1.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We increased the overall messaging engagement and are not able to use automated multi channel campaigns.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If your CRM platform is giving you headache, i recommend you to test Braze.

What do you like best about the product?
#Platfom
Overall the platform gets easy to use when you are using it daily. There is a lot of possibilites to engage users with tools inside and your creativity is the only roadblock here :)

Great to have a library where you can be sent to gain new knowledge and train yourself. Even just a little time a day of read can help you build greater Retention journeys.

That's a key benefit in working with Braze. You can always count on them when it comes to problem solving, getting suggestions and doing QA.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think there should be more dashboard which could show over all metrics and live data for specific segments like country and be able to compahre them

Retaining users is the main goal. But with this platform you are able to do a quick tactics to get your KPI's improve.

What do you like best about the product?
Braze is really easy to build campaigns in. When you are stuck they have LAB courses you can take to help acclimate you to the platform and their support team is very responsive.
What do you dislike about the product?
This is more a word to the wise, but when setting up Braze make sure you have all the feeds in as soon as possible. This way you can start to test out all the different capabilities.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to automate communications to our different user groups which we were unable to do before. Braze has made this much easier to build out and continue to optimize.

What do you like best about the product?
Really enjoy using all of the segmentation features. In the sports betting industry it's very important to send out campaigns to granular segments and Braze allows us to do just that.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not the biggest fan of reporting tools braze currently has. Would love for Braze to launch an onsite Analytics dashboard vs one off reporting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use braze mostly for retention marketing. Braze has helped us reach out clients senselessly and efficiently.
