Excellent Marketing Automation Tool with Robust Customer Support
What do you like best about the product?
As a customer of Braze, I feel they genuinely care about my feedback and are constantly looking to improve the platform. In the short year my company has been using Braze, I have already seen them make many great updates. We are able to use cross-channel campaigns to easily grow and scale our marketing efforts without having to onboard another tool. It also allows us to better understand all the communication our customers receive, and personalize each message.
One of the absolute best features of Braze is its people. I have had nothing but incredible support and service throughout my time as a customer. Whenever I have a question, someone can quickly answer it. The customer success team is first-class and provides great value to me as a power user. Not only are they helpful when it comes to learning how to do something new in Braze, or sanity-checking my campaigns, but they also push me to use more and more capabilities within the tool to unlocak as much value as possible. In addition, Braze has created many training resources and thorough documentation to help users accomplish just about anything within the tool.

What do you dislike about the product?
There was a bit of a learning curve for me with Braze, having come from a less robust/technical ESP. Additionally, there is a bit more technical work required (I rely somewhat heavily on a Dev to get things done). However, with the learning curve came many new and exciting possibilities. The biggest thing that I had to get used to was that contacts are managed a bit differently - specifically they each require a unique identifier (aside from email).
Would love a bit more reporting, for example integration with Google Analytics to track true value of each campaign, but this is not the end of the world.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Braze is allowing us to scale up to omnichannel marketing, which is new for our team! We are wanting to see all of our customer communication in one place. In addition, we are able to act on customer web behavior for the first time, which is leading to new marketing opportunities for us.
Braze is a powerful platform!
What do you like best about the product?
Push notification previews, intelligent timing and delivery, and reporting metrics.
What do you dislike about the product?
Learning curve/getting up to speed, learning to set up and navigate push notifications. Shorter bite-sized instructions would be helpful vs. lengthy courses.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helping us reach our users via push notifications. Drives visits and keeps users engaged with the brand.
It is quite intuitive even if it could be improved under some aspects

For sure Canvas feature gives a lot of flexibility and personalization
What do you dislike about the product?
Report builder and Dashboards are kind of limited, sometimes the Ui is tricky and in the end users are not able to get insights easily

Great multi-channel tool for Marketing Automation
What do you like best about the product?
Braze is quite user-friendly and it offers really nice options for setting up campaigns with multi-channel approach (including App messaging, Email and others like SMS, Social Media Channels etc.). The tool clearly offers a good view on User behavior across different channels and provides many options to customize the tool and perfectly adapt it to individual Use Cases.
What do you dislike about the product?
The consumption of Data Points have to get monitored closely and some parts could be easier to handle like Webhooks, Personalization and string operators within Segmentation. But there are plenty ways to educate yourself (various Learning paths, which makes it easy to learn).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There are many functionalities in Braze. Switching tools is not needed that often and jumping from tool to tool usually makes daily work less effective. Besides this, I like tagging all the assets which provides a better view. We don't have to work with folders and spend less time searching for specific items.
Simple and powerful tool
What do you like best about the product?
The user journey-building tool canvas flow is broken down into simple steps that enable a high level of customization/personalization.
What do you dislike about the product?
Braze canvas dashboard could have more overview statistics of the entire canvas (i.e, open rates, clicks, ctor)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Braze allows us to build transactional and marketing communications with a simple, easy-to-use interface that is highly customizable.
Have yet to use the omni-channel capabilities. Mostly used for email.
What do you like best about the product?
I like the Ab testing capabilities and the educational workshops that are available through Braze. I have yet to use their omnichannel capabilities, but it's something I'm excited to try for 2023.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is really expensive. Every new add-on, such as Braze Currents, is an additional fee. I wish Braze had a better and cleaner reporting dashboard. It is not very robust annd clunky, and I'm limited to viewing a few metrics that are pre-defined in Braze. To name a few, I would like to be able to build custom metrics, filter by conversion name, and be able to view unique link clicks in a table.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Braze allows me to experiment with subject lines and seamlessly roll out winning variants, reach customers through multiple channels within one platform, and launch lifecycle campaigns in less than a day without any engineering or design support.
An easy-to-use platform with great customer support!
What do you like best about the product?
Braze makes it easy for our team to create seamless user experiences across multiple channels in one easy-to-use interface. The platform is intuitive, and the ability to target users on a granular level has allowed us to create personalized experiences, increase engagement, better predict revenue, and reduce churn overall. Braze also offers fantastic customer support - whether it's working through a complex use-case, getting set up on a new channel, or a technical problem, the Braze team is always quick to respond and make time to provide support and it's very much appreciated (special shoutout to Melissa!). Braze has significantly helped us scale our marketing efforts, and I highly recommend it!
What do you dislike about the product?
Braze offers a ton of functionality in terms of liquid language and personalization, but with limited HTML code knowledge, it can sometimes be hard to implement some of the use cases and functionalities we'd like to leverage (also learning on our part that needs to be done!). Small tweaks throughout the platform would improve our team's efficiency and workflows, like the ability to edit multiple emails simultaneously rather than toggling back and forth but overall very happy with the platform.

With Braze, we can reach our audience where they are most likely to engage and easily implement an omni-channel marketing strategy from one centralized solution. With its ability to process consumer data in real-time, we can deliver personalized messages when they matter most, resulting in high-value actions for our business.
Great CRM platform, especially for app-centric campaigns
What do you like best about the product?
Braze has been improving the tool and introducing new features at a fast pace. Some of the features being released (or on the roadmap) are innovative. The platform is quite intuitive to use and is great for app related channels.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the minor details have been overlooked and not fully developed. Some examples are email campaigns, control groups, limitation of the churn prediction and intelligent suite, and uplift measurement flexibility.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Braze has been great in centralizing and improving communication with customers, enable powerful orchestration and automation of campaigns, and quick deployment of campaigns.
Good but messy
What do you like best about the product?
I like the possibility of having customized attributes and events and to be able to hack some steps for the business purpose and goals
What do you dislike about the product?
I find it a bit chaotic as UX: too many areas that are not of clear use or intent, data being not always super precise (tracking) and in general the UX of creating canvas
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sending communications by a big business, being able to create all the structure without too much technical or coding need.
Good frontend - UX could do with a bit of a cleanup though
