What do you like best about the product?
I use Canva for creating CVs for my business, and it's been incredibly helpful in making professional CVs without needing graphic design skills. I love that Canva offers a wide variety of modern ATS-friendly templates, which allows me to create visually appealing resumes quickly. The platform's ease of use, especially with its pre-formatted text blocks, makes entering personal information, work experience, and skills organized without breaking the layout. I find the 'Copy Style' tool particularly beneficial because it lets me apply the same font and color settings across different sections of my resume instantly, ensuring a consistent and professional look with minimal effort. Setting up Canva initially was a breeze, definitely a 10 out of 10.
What do you dislike about the product?
One minor issue is that some of the more professional and creative CV templates are locked behind the Pro subscription, which might be a barrier for students. Also, when downloading a CV with many elements as a PDF, sometimes the file size can be a bit large, which might require compression before uploading it to certain job application portals. It would be great to have a built-in 'PDF optimization' feature specifically for resumes.

I love how Canva offers a very wide range of templates, images, emojis, and all the elements that I might need, making the entire design process effortless. Even when I don't have a clear idea in mind, the templates provide a strong starting point and help me visualize what I want to create. The images are modern and relevant, and the emojis add a nice, expressive touch. Another big benefit is how much time Canva saves; everything is available in one place, and I don't have to worry about design consistency. The drag-and-drop interface makes it easy to experiment and make quick changes without any technical skills. Canva also makes it easy to create polished and professional designs, without needing advanced design software. I really appreciate how user-friendly Canva is across different needs, allowing me to start a design on my phone and continue it on my laptop hassle-free. Automatic saving ensures I don't lose progress. The collaboration feature is very helpful for sharing designs and editing together in real time, and the brand kit option is great for maintaining consistency across designs. I enjoy the regular updates and new content, which keep Canva feeling fresh and make the creative process interesting.

One thing that could definitely be improved is the level of customization for more advanced designs. While Canva is great for quick and clean visuals, it can feel a bit limiting when you want very precise control over elements, spacing, or layers, especially compared to professional design tools.

Canva simplifies my design process with a wide range of templates and elements, making it easy without technical skills. It saves time, keeps designs consistent, and boosts creativity. The collaboration feature and cross-device flexibility are great, while regular updates keep things fresh.
The overall experience is great and it is very user friendly no complications so far

Almost many designs are free as a beginner it is very easy to use and improves your editing skills. This also helps in making your moodboards and vision boards. You can easily access many tools for free and paid version is whole another world the graphics and images in the app are great
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not anything particular i hate about Canva but I feel like 650 a month as subscription is a little expensive for students as we don't have that much money with ourselves

There’s honestly not much to dislike. If I had to mention one thing, it’s that very advanced or highly customized designs can feel a bit limited. But for everyday designs and quick work, Canva works really well and gets the job done easily.

Since I’m more of a technical person, design isn’t really my strength. But I still need to prepare documents, presentations, and other material for my company. Canva makes that easy — I can quickly create clean, professional-looking content without spending time learning design tools, which saves me a lot of effort and time.

I like how easy Canva is to use and the fact that you can find so many things in it. You can make everything, from posters to serious presentations, all in one place. I don't have to go to different apps for what I need. Everything I need to make presentations, resumes, and other materials is in Canva. I also like the recommendation it gives and the fact that you can get so many free things in it. The initial setup was welcoming and not overwhelming.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes searching for the perfect template takes me so long. It would be great if there was a tool where we could give a command on the type of template we want and get it. Also, if there was a specific section for business and fun things, where we could select accordingly and get sticker suggestions, it would help.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Canva because everything I need for making presentations, resumes, and more is in one place, saving me from switching apps. It's easy to use, saving me time in searching for templates, reducing my stress, especially when busy.

I like that Canva has almost all the features I need, like editing videos, images, and using AI for generating images. It's been really helpful for me as a student to make reports, project videos, and everything else I need for my assignments. It's quite such prices are high for subscription. So it needs to be decreased so that AI experts can easily have access of it.

These are areas where Canva could be improved for more demanding design needs.
