Easy graphic design for every purpose

  • January 11, 2018
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy Canva is to use and the simplicity that is offers for almost every solution I need minor graphic design for.
What do you dislike about the product?
Resizing isn't allowed on the free version of the software, which sometimes became a frustration.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I used Canva to create graphics for the company social media, blog, and other internal and external functions. I used it for a number of different purposes, and it was so simple to use. While I did use photoshop or Indesiggn for some purposes, for simple things, Canva was a faster solution that I preferred.

Design for dummies (in the very best way)

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love that I can create all sorts of things with the help of design guides and free photos/illustrations! As a marketer I'm well aware that I'm not a designer...but Canva helps when you're in a pinch.
What do you dislike about the product?
Without upgrading to the paid version, you're limited with designs and illustrations obviously. I've found Canva to be a bit 'buggy' at times and will refresh or not save my designs in the middle of working with them. A bummer for sure, but not enough for me to stop using this awesome tool!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sometimes Photoshop isn't the quickest or simplest option, and this is where Canva comes into play.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
You'll love using Canva, no doubt! Give it a try, and definitely consider upgrading to the business version.

Wonderful Template- and Online-Based Publication Design Platform

  • January 11, 2018
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Very user-friendly online design platform that you can use on the fly for publications ranging from simple flyers to intricate newsletters. It has most of the trimmings of an expensive desktop publishing program: customizable templates, icons, graphic editors, wide array of fonts, and an extensive library of other features at zero to minimal cost.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing, really, just wish that CANVA considers adding more interactive features in the future.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Instead of spending a lot of man hours coming up with a design for various publications, using the library of templates/design cuts down the work that we have to do.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Canva is, if not the best, one of the best infographic designer you can find on the web. Projects can be saved, shared, and downloaded easily. You don't have to be an expert to create a professional looking publication. I highly recommend this product.

What do you like best about the product?
Canva truly makes design easy for the end user. Whenever I need to quickly design any sort of asset I use Canva.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not Photoshop or Indesign but that's what makes it great, it's simple easy to use platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Design. I had no idea how to use more complicated products but as a marketer design is a huge part of my job. Using Canva has allowed me to develop design skills I didn't even know I had.

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to use and how quickly I can create quality graphics!
What do you dislike about the product?
The one issue that I've run into is that you have to pay to become a premium member in order to resize images.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Canva to create quick graphics for blog headers. I have experience in graphic design but often I choose Canva over Photoshop to create quick headers or to add other elements to blog images. I love how much time it saves!

What do you like best about the product?
I love the "Magic Resize" feature where I can switch from one image type/size to another with ease (and without having to start my work over).

I wish I could drag the text size smaller and larger like an image instead of always having to click a new font size and try it out.

Has a few quirks that I have learned to navigate through daily use, but they have also turned off some coworkers that couldn't figure out the glitch.
