Love canva
What do you like best about the product?
I like that it helps me create interesting and engaging designs for my office events. I feel like I can design almost anything with canva.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish I could make complete copies of things I have already made and just update the copy
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My office puts on over 30 events each year and this helps me to be able advertise them to the campus that I work at. Canva helps me create engaging advertisements/posters.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is user friendly and has a lot of design options to utilize.
Create stunning graphics!
What do you like best about the product?
I'm not a graphic designer, but with Canva I am definitely able to fake it. We like to work with graphic designers, but sometimes you just need a quick image to go up on social media or a blog post. Canva allows us to do just this. You can even upload your own images and logos so everything comes out super customized and unique.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are so many options, and no all of the imaging is free so you're limited with what you can actually create on a free level. Also, you do need some basic design skills to make sure everything is lined up nicely and presents well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are creating amazing social media graphics for the people we work with. This puts a unique, personalized spin on what we present to the public and helps with branding. Most of our clients are looking to become more modernized, and Canva definitely helps do that.

What do you like best about the product?
This software is amazingly easy to use. The versatility of the program is perfection! The free version is so simple and easy to use, and the paid version adds the perfect features to make your use of the software absolutely top-notch.
What do you dislike about the product?
Really nothing. I love it. The program covers everything you might need.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to create custom pins for Pinterest affiliate marketing that are stunning and easily catch the eye. The drag and drop feature makes creation simple and fast.
So easy to use -and free!

It's very user friendly and makes creating social graphics or mockups really easy.

Sometimes the connection is bad, it won't load very well or it'll freeze up

Any minor graphics I need and mocking up things for social media
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're looking to create simple graphics, this is it. IF you have a color picker widget on your Google Chrome, you can customize things with colors, upload photos, etc.

the software is easy to use and offers many templates. It allows me to upload my own artwork or use theirs

Lack of organization for uploads, would like to be able to sort into folders

What do you like best about the product?
I adore this program and recommend it to lots of people. It is incredibly easy to use, I taught a 70 year old client how to design with canva and she got it easily. There is a wide variety of free images and the ones you pay for are very reasonable.
What do you dislike about the product?
The social sharing capabilities could use some work, I find that it is easier to download the image and share it on social media that way.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Designing marketing materials to spread the word about all of our services.

Create a free account and try it out. Download your images and share them directly to your social platforms.
I LOVE Canva
What do you like best about the product?
It's such a great alternative to Adobe when you need to design some super quick or you don't have any inspiration. It's easy to use and has a really good library of templates.
What do you dislike about the product?
I like everything about Canva, honestly. If I need to do more complex things then I use Adobe products, but it has really great functionality.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Pumping out flyers for events, seminars, etc when we are on a short deadline.
Canva for social media
What do you like best about the product?
It's quicker than Photoshop for fast social media graphics and with the templates in place with drag and drop features to customize it takes a lot less effort than designing on your own.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the lack of central themes that span across several mediums so that you can create a package of graphics that matches for various platforms. I also wish they had more options for multiple photos used in one graphic. Also, their reports are almost all in A4 size with no option to change to letter.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With limited staff we are able to do more with less. Likewise, the user need only have some eye for design, not a degree or background in editing software which makes it much more accessible than the traditional method of putting together these materials. It is slightly lacking in abilities to edit photos but you can do a lot with less and less money because it is open, free and online.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
There's no risk in trying the software as it's free and you can decide if you like the results by simply making something. Because it's online and template based you can check it out in a relatively short amount of time. I suggest you decide first what you will be using it for, however, as you have to start from the social platform you're intending to use this for when first selecting the template from the menu.
Canva Review
What do you like best about the product?
Canva is a great products for beginners. As someone who is not too familiar with Photoshop, Canva was a great and easy to use products to create professional graphics and flyers. With a variety of templates and fonts available, it makes it very easy for a beginner graphic designer to simply pull from the pre-selected templates and font and personalize them.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish Canva had more free templates available and that there was a feature to search for templates when working on a graphic. Currently when you search for a template, you have to create a whole new graphic. The other thing I don't like is the way the folder are set up. Currently on the main page, after you login, you can see all the designs even if they are in folders. The folders are more tags than anything.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Canva is an easy and low cost tool that can be used to make quality social media graphics. It's easy to take a picture and turn it in to an eye catching graphic that will catch the attention of viewers on social media. For non-profits or organizations that can't invest in social media graphics or graphics designers, Canva is a great tool to create graphics in house.

Great free tool, would totally recommend for anyone looking for a beginner graphic designer tool!

What do you like best about the product?
LOVE the layouts that are already there for you to choose from. Very professional and modern. Also enjoy that you are able to layer so easily.

Would like to have more free options of graphics available

We needed to be able to create posters, fliers, ads, etc at a low cost. This was the best way to make them effectively and make them visually appealing.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are unable to outsource and you also have limited abilities to create good looking material, this is the best option.
