Great image creating tool for marketers
What do you like best about the product?
It's very easy to use with tons of storage for uploading photos (seems unlimited in my experience). GREAT tool for resizing images, and creating images for emails, social media, blogs.
What do you dislike about the product?
The actual resizing tool is not part of the free version. They do have free icons and images, however, it's not the easiest to search for them. You also can't upload a transparent file to use with their frames, which help with automatic resizing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating images for emails, social media, blogs. It makes my job easier because I don't have to wait for a designer to make or adjust an image. They also provide a variety of fonts, any color you want to choose, and a very fast download tool as a png or jpeg.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great free tool for quick, simple images. No design skills necessary (seriously, I have no photo editing skills and it's easy to pick up and make professional images).

Canva is so user friendly and intuitive. I love designing things on here. It always looks great even though I'm not a graphic designer

Lots of things aren't free, and I don't like how it always opens multiple windows.

All of the pre-made and frequently updated templates. I save time by tweaking preexistant designs.

The minor downgrade in image quality through the export feature.

I like that I can use the free version to impose designs over images then download them a .jpgs to use as headers in newsletters.

What do you like best about the product?
The interface is friendly for anyone and the free resources such as images and text. I love the fact that the templates are high resolution and modern giving my flyers, instagram posts, Facebook cover pages etc. and presentations an extremely professional look. I also have the option to create my own project using custom dimensions. What's also great about Canva is that I can access the my projects on different devices.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is very little to dislike about Canva but I wished the mobile application had all the resources like text and shapes that the web application has.

Canva was recommended to me by a business associate and friend who is big on find helpful tools for her business and I have been recommending it to clients and friend ever since. I use Canva religiously and I have been able easily and successfully create digital content and presentations for my small business. Here is a cool thing about Canva the quality of the images generated is so good I was able to use the images to print on fabric!

I love the ability to customize flyers and social media posts with the pre-created images on Canva.

I don't like the fact that you have to make an account to use the product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Before I started using Canva, I was unable to create professional-looking flyers for my organization. Now, with the help of Canva, I can create these flyers in a matter of minutes.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Making an account allows you to save your work -- don't be intimidated by making an account. They will not crowd your inbox with emails.
Fairly easy to use and overall good.
What do you like best about the product?
I like how they have various layout you can work from and create flyers/posters from. It allows for very high quality flyers that make it look very nice. Also, the options and various templates that are available is very well designed and nice. Also although you have to pay for some of the templates, they are fairly cheap. The website also can directly save it as a jpg, pdf, and multiple other forms.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike about canva is that alot of the posters/flyer templates require the use to purchase it. When I say alot I mean most of them. Also, although it is easy to use, sometimes it can get frustrating to get exactly how you want the poster to look.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In my department we are working to get various information on events and opportunities across to students and staff. The posters/flyers made here was able to attract a larger crowd.

Canva is a very easy and efficient program to create flyers and posters; however, alot of the templates require a purchase.
Amazing design tool for our office!
What do you like best about the product?
The super easy to use interface allows me to create amazing hand-outs for our office's delegations.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike how so many photos require payment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Designing all of these hand-outs and pamphlets would be a hassle - and I wouldn't have control over it - but with Canva I can make it myself.

Really, if you don't know how to use Photoshop or don't have access to it like me, it's an amazing tool that turns anyone into a designer for free. Fantastic - and I'm sure if I had to make a lot more design elements in a job, I'd probably pay for the premium version of it.
Canva Makes Graphic Design a Possibility for People Who Aren't Graphic Designers
What do you like best about the product?
Everything. I love how there are levels of subscriptions that allow access to various things. Even the free version comes with a lot of helpful tools. It's super easy to use and creates GREAT looking graphics if you spend a little time in there. I think the most helpful thing that they do is creating templates (both free and paid) that can then be edited to suit your needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes a downloaded version of an image with lines will have some lines appear in the wrong place. It can be frustrating to try to fix this issue, but it doesn't happen often.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Graphic design used to seem like an impossible hurtle because photoshop can be complicated, but canva solved that problem. We use canva to create images for our website, social media and print materials.

Easy, but sometimes freezes
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to create designs, gives me inspiration on projects when I have no idea what to put together. Nice fonts and image gallery.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the website & mobile app tend to freeze... Also, few glitches a week is a normal practice - it won't save my designs and I have to reload a page.

Direct marketing projects, social media designs. It's perfect for simple graphic design
