Canva Flyers
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of the user interface make this tool awesome.
What do you dislike about the product?
The sorting images function free vs. paid is not as clean as I would like
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating visually appealing flyer and info-graphics. Using Canva my end users have a much higher rate of actually reading the content vs. traditional layouts.
Canva for Invitations, Newsletters, letterheads
What do you like best about the product?
I love how flexible the app is. I have done so many different projects on it and I like the autosaving feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not like that there aren't very many good free shapes and symbols in the bank.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am saving so much time, because I'm finishing projects that would have taken ridiculously more time in other applications.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use in conjunction with pixlr!
Design within everyone's reach
What do you like best about the product?
Canva is very easy to use, you can design all kinds of things with the templates it provides or simply start designing your own design. It is very intuitive and you can see the progress the more you use it. You don't need to have much design knowledge to be able to handle it and it can be recommended to everyone.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't found anything I dislike, but I always recommend making a good video tutorial that explains all the options offered.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it for some promotion on Facebook or to decorate informational emails, it's so quick that we often use it many times as a promotional resource.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend it for how easy it is to use; once you master it, you use it for countless things, both work-related and personal.
Great!
What do you like best about the product?
It’s very easy to use, and it has a lot of good templates
What do you dislike about the product?
Some templates you have to pay for to get the watermark off, and it doesn’t state that when you select the template
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has made advertising significantly easier. My flyers look so good!
Canva is a life saver
What do you like best about the product?
Canva is extremely user friendly. There are tons of templates that apply to anything one might need. Very easy to train new people on it, saving lots of time and resources.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only part that isn't as user friendly is keyboard shortcuts; there is a page with a list of them but there's a lot and they are kind of hard to remember. I am unsure if there is a way to select multiple objects without dragging a box around them (for example in Finder on Mac, you can select multiple items by clicking while holding down the command key.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Less time consuming and easier for new people to use; no need to spend 6 months training someone to use inDesign at a basic level
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is so unbelievably user friendly. Makes creating advertisements and posters so easy especially in the campus setting when many have to be created each month.
Easy to use, excellent website!
What do you like best about the product?
I like how Canva simplifies the design process by offering a variety of pre-made templates! You can choose among different layouts for different purposes (letter, Facebook post, etc). The drag and drop makes everything 10 times easier, and it's also extremely easy to customize your own design. Unlike other design software I used, Canva is very intuitive to use, and best of all, free!
What do you dislike about the product?
There are certain limitations to the site that prevent people from making more complex graphics. For example, you cannot flip images or group more than two objects together. When I have a lot of text boxes or images in close proximity, it also becomes hard to click on the one I want without moving something else. I also wish there were more options in terms of free stock images and illustrations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Canva to create graphics to post on social media sites like Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. The graphics add a fun & appealing touch to what would be an otherwise wordy post, and having a cool visual component makes it more likely that others will see and share our posts.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Canva is a great and incredibly easy website to use, and I would recommend it to anyone looking to create clean and polished graphics, especially for social media. I would not recommend it to those looking to create more complex designs.
Easy and Convenient
What do you like best about the product?
Canva is a great resource to use when you need to quickly make an exciting graphic. The material is not always unique, but it is still easy and convenient.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's sometimes hard to resize and navigate things on the screen of my smartphone.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With an organization I'm apart of, we have tons of events every week and Canva is a great tool to use to get the word out about those events.
Canva is the best for quick and easy graphics
What do you like best about the product?
Canva is the best for when I need to make quick graphics. It has templates and easy to follow navigations to edit and publish all sorts of pictures and documents for marketing.
What do you dislike about the product?
It doesn’t have all the features of Photoshop by any means, and is sort of limited.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Canva helps me to create quick and easy graphics for web promotions, Instagram ads, and pre-printing design.
Canva is a user-friendly, visually engaging power house in my daily work.
What do you like best about the product?
I like the variety of sizes and layouts to fit communications needs for different mediums. I also like the selection of fonts and graphics to add some needed dimension to graphics.
What do you dislike about the product?
The amount of people starting to use it - sounds selfish but begs the question, will the designs be considered unique over time as users increase? They may have to keep creating new templates at a higher rate. I'm already seeing similar designs pop up on multiple small business social media accounts. Not a huge deal, but comes with the territory of Free Account users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've been solving the problem of graphics and communications elements that were not flowing, or were getting stale. My emails/social media posts have become more visually pleasing and we can even create a more consistent quality of the print items we mail out, because of the option to order print materials through Canva.
Canva is literally the best thing ever
What do you like best about the product?
I love that Canva provides layouts for you while allows you tailor your project to what you need.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are certain fonts that aren't able to be bolded, italicized and underlined.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
More exposure to different populations and getting more parties engaged through newsletters, and flyers.
