Affordable and reliable
What do you like best about the product?
It's extremely cost-effective, it has a lot of great templates and is very intuitive.
What do you dislike about the product?
The stock images are really hard to sift through and there aren't a lot of quality images of people.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's a quick and easy way to design graphics and print materials that even non-creative roles can figure out.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're looking for a quick and easy tool to design print and graphics, this is the most cost-effective option and the easiest to use by far.
Wonderful product!
What do you like best about the product?
I love being able to create so many great marketing designs for our social media accounts and other marketing applications.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't really anything I dislike about Canva!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I love the fact that there are some premade templates that give me ideas on what kind of ads or social media posts I can create. The ability to upload my own images really makes it easy for me to personalize my designs, and also create my own kind of watermark.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Although I use the free product, there are certainly advantages to using their subscription service, as many more images and capabilities are included. This program is very user friendly and easy to figure out.
Lots of great free options
What do you like best about the product?
Lots of wonderful free options! Able to save branding (colors, fonts, logos) to make templates fit our brand. Website was easy to use. App had options for Instagram Stories.
What do you dislike about the product?
I disliked the app. It didn’t allow access to the saved brand colors (I had to save the color code and manually put it in). It would also run very slow. Sometimes things would not download correctly to my phone from the app (colors changed, images missing, font bigger/smaller) despite looking normal on the image preview.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Streamlined and easy branding for social media and print content.
The best platform for creating posters.
What do you like best about the product?
Canva is an amazing tool for creating the best posters to present your ideas, innovations, or whatever you want to present in way of posters. Presenting your things through posters are more attractive than telling the whole story in a sentence or paragraph.
Canva provides simple tools for creating the effective graphics. I can use filters and change the colors as per the theme of the content. The templates are just awesome, various templates allow you to customize your designs.
Canva can be implemented for creating professional looking designs. It's very less time consuming.

What do you dislike about the product?
Most of the icons in illustrations are paid ones. Sometime difficult to find the right template. And all the time it saves automatically. But there are times it does not, so that I lost my work even if I hit the save button.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm using Canva for creating poster designs to present things to our clients. And I highly recommend this product for the poster creation
A secret weapon that doesn't require design experience
What do you like best about the product?
It's ridiculous easy to use, and the templates are really helpful. Even when I don't use the templates (which I don't very often), they serve as a good guide for the types of things that look good and the types of things that are possible within the program. Some of my fav tools are adjusting transparency, creating short video slideshows, playing around with the elements (I use the square and circle ones quite often), and the ability to save brand assets in Canva for Work.
What do you dislike about the product?
How expensive Canva for Work is. I think a lot more people would go for it if it were just a bit lower of a price point. I also think some of the resizing options aren't very intuitive; I only learned them through hacks. Lastly, I wish there much easier resizing options. It's annoying that the size templates for, say, Facebook headers and Twitter banners are the correct dimensions but a terrible resolution. I always have to manually create a new project that triples the size (while maintaining the dimensions). While that's fine, I then lose the Facebook-specific design templates, plus it's extra time and work, requires calculations, etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It saves me a lot of time and money when it comes to designing posters, social media images, and more. Without Canva, I'd have to hire a designer or spend far too much time (and computer energy) opening up tutorials for Illustrator, Photoshop, etc. I actually still use the more high-powered programs from time to time, but for 90% of my needs (which are primarily social media or easy digital posters, for projects I don't have much time to devote to), Canva is much more suitable.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you work for a 501(c)(3) non-profit, it's worth applying to be part of their non-profit program and be able to use Canva for Work features. I also recommend going through some of the tutorials and help pages, even if most of it is intuitive. The vast majority of Canva will be fine for most people who know their way around computers, drag-and-drop programs, etc, but still, there are a couple non-intuitive features and hacks.
Creating content with Canva is so easy!
What do you like best about the product?
Canva is really easy to use and there are so many different ways to customize whatever you are working on. It's great for helping you create content for social media posts no matter what you are working on. The amount of free content they have available is great too if you are on a budget.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Canva is great, one thing that would help a lot is a more user friendly mobile version of the desktop platform. I use Canva almost exclusively on my desktop but having the option to more easily create or edit things on the go would make things even better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
While I have used Canva both in my personal life as well as at work. At work I use it to create content for posts for clients when they have upcoming events or promotions that they need a post created.
Everything I need
What do you like best about the product?
I love that Canva provides such a variety of options. I can create infographics for work and edit photos for my personal life. Canva is my go to editor for almost every situation. It's easy to use and the templates are a huge help!
What do you dislike about the product?
At first it was hard navigating all the different pages they had for different situations, but once I used it enough I got used to it and its now easy to work!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows me to display information for the companies I work for in a clear and engaging way. I noticed that people are more prone to interact with our posts when it is in picture form versus a bunch of words.
EASY AND FREE
What do you like best about the product?
I like that this service is free. And for the portions that are not free, its cheap. Need a good stock image, its only $1! Fall in love with a template? Its only $1! I have used this so many times when I need a quick flier or mailer. Easy to use!
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not like the mobile version. It is harder to use, just because you can click where you need to. Definitely a program you need to use on a computer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Fast easy design projects. I typically use photoshop when I have time to really edit and get things just the way I need them. For inter-office materials, I use canva!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try the free version! You will love it for web graphics, info graphics, mailers, and more!
Great Design Tool for the Average Joe
What do you like best about the product?
It's so easy to use and the templates are great! I never usually buy off of free websites but recently I bought a great template for a resume. Also stock images are great and very affordable available on Canva.
What do you dislike about the product?
Mobile Version is super slow - not sure if fixable
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating Custom Itineraries
Using Canva for creating Facebook event photos and flyers
What do you like best about the product?
Canva is super easy to use, and best of all, the service is free (unless you choose to pay for certain premium images, fonts, styling, etc.). Canva has pre-designed templates that you can use, which is awesome for creating images easily and in super short time frames.
What do you dislike about the product?
Canva can be hard or annoying to use sometimes; there are only certain font sizes to choose from and text rotation can also be tricky to get it the exact way one desires. In addition, most of the templates offered are for parties and social events, so creating a formal, sleek-looking poster can be a challenge.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using Canva to create Facebook event photos for recruiting and social events. We also use Canva in creating our marketing flyers and designing computer backgrounds with.
