Easy even for non-designers
What do you like best about the product?
The templates and scaling options are fantastic. We can use one base and resize for all of our image needs. The collaboration makes sharing and responding to new designs simple and intuitive. All of our staff really like this product. It has made licensing for some Adobe products unnecessary.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be hard to fully edit template to make it look exactly like you want at first, but with practice, it gets much easier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Branded graphics for our social channels and internal and external needs. It makes it easy to have all the graphics from the team in one place.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Try the free version first and see if you like the images you create before purchasing the paid version.
We love Canva
What do you like best about the product?
My team and I love the ease of use! Whether it is designing flyers, emails, infographics, social media posts, or cards, Canva has the supplies you need all in one spot! We love that we can easily collaborate on projects, to ensure we create the best graphics possible!
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't much that we don't like about Canva! Sometimes the images and other graphics are limited for certain topics, but it is obvious that they are trying to improve them. Also, sometimes the elements offered are less polished an refined than we would like, but that is a minor problem.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Canva is our go-to design software! Although we use Photoshop and other platforms, Canva is the quickest and easiest platform to use! Not only is it easy to use, it is also a great database of our designs, so we can easily look back and see what we have worked on before and use that to guide diversifying future projects.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use it! Canva is user friendly, fun, and intuiative! If you have a team make sure that you slide the "share" lever when a design is comeplete so that you can collaborate and make any adjustments.You won't regret using Canva!
Limited, but free and worth it!
What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can access canva from anywhere. I can use it on my phone, tablet or computer. It is really simple to learn and use. They have premade templates for a TON of different products- post cards, fliers, invitations, web ads, web graphics, trifolds, letterheads and so much more!
What do you dislike about the product?
The mobile versions are difficult to use because everything is so small. You can make it happen, but its more difficult.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
If we need something created quickly, we can jump onto canva, choose a premade template, and customize it with out info! Its a great tool to have in your back pocket when you dont have time to "professionally design" something. Its also a social media coordinators dream because it has all of the pre-sized web graphics/ads.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The options here are so great! Give it a try. The fonts are great, stock images are great and templates are the BEST part!

What do you like best about the product?
This online program is the best app I have used for social media sharing. The ease of the program is great. No background knowledge needed. I like that there are multiple layouts and designs available for FREE. Mini marketing machine in my pocket!
What do you dislike about the product?
There really isn't too much to dislike. Its a little harder to use on a phone vs a computer screen but only because of the nature of the nature of the program on the phone.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am very new to social media marketing. Canva really helps me create fantastic ads and social media posts that attract my clientele. With little knowledge in the marketing field, this program makes it so easy for me to create.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Great for any social media platform marketing. Its like a little marketing machine in your pocket. Lots of easy to use great designs available. I really like the pre-made composition that I am able to plug my info into and make a great social media post.
Great for Beginners
What do you like best about the product?
As a beginner to graphic design, Canva has been great to use and really helps me when creating products for work from Email headers to documents.The templates are also great inspiration. I had no eye for design but after using this for about a year, I feel pretty ready to try my hand at the more intricate softwares in Adobe.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is limited in what it can do from formatting to placement of images in just the right spot. The designs are pretty simplistic as it is for beginners or amateurs in design.

What do you like best about the product?
They have some nice, clean, and simple free presets for graphics.
What do you dislike about the product?
Canva has some nice presets for graphics but they don't seem to add more very often (I've been using the product for 4 years) and the process of editing the designs is not very simple and user friendly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Making simple and quick graphics for events on a small level.
Free tool will make you feel like a designer (even when you're not)!

Drag and drop functionality, easy to work from existing pieces and edit on the fly.

Mobile app (still pretty new on Android) lacks full functionality.

I was trying to create graphics in an easy manner and Canva supplied that for me.
My Secret Weapon!
What do you like best about the product?
I don't work directly in a marketing office, but do a lot of marketing for work and Canva has turned my mediocre designs into masterpieces. It's user friendly, takes the guess work out of using intimidating software like photoshop, and offers a host of free images and tools. It's the best work discovery I've happened upon in the past 5 years. Anyone can market, and market well, with Canva. The new animated feature is great for social media posts.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the limited image options in the unpaid version I use for personal designs. The paid subscription I use at work is superb but could use text that can change directions and a better ruler function. The new version is extremely glitchy and requires more steps/clicks to search/find designs. So far I have found the new version to be a step background, although I do like some of the additional features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Canva allows our small office to market our events/activities with cutting edge graphics and designs at one's fingertip in a very relevant, time-effective way. It's fun too!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's a tool I can no longer live without at work. Without sounding cliche, it's been a life changing piece of software. I highly recommend the paid subscription version, it opens up a slew of features that are imperative.
Provides perfect tools to create professional content
What do you like best about the product?
I love the availability of templates to help me get started when creating content. I also love being able to change the template size to custom dimensions.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a couple bugs in the software, such as not being able to delete uploaded photos in my logo folder, or every once in awhile, when selecting an item to move, it doesn't release when you're no longer holding the mouse down.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Canvas has allowed me to create attractive media for social media as well as flyers and bookmarks and more.
