So easy to make such professional work!
What do you like best about the product?
I love all of the templates and designs provided and how professional all of my work looks now!
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes when creating a template with the free version, I do all of the work and then realize I have to upgrade my subscription in order to download. Slightly frustrating
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I don’t have an in-house graphic designer, so Canva allows me to make professional work without having to pay an arm and a leg for designs!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
All of the templates are great! Take time to browse them
Perfect for quick posters
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to create quick posters for any event. I also use it to create social media content with the correct proportions and to create images for Pinterest posts. It is also great for creating business reports and slide presentations.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the limited options that you have if you don’t pay for the premium version. Other than that, the software works fine with no visible bugs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Advertising has become much easier and quicker.
Makes Life Better
What do you like best about the product?
I LOVE Canva. I love its ease of use and convenience, the automatic saving, the endless ways to be creative; absolutely everything. I enjoy the fact that there is a 2.0 version as well, which has made my creations for work even better. I love all of the choices in graphics, the ability to upload your own photos. Through Canva, I am able to save a bunch of time by using their templates. Most of all, I LOVE all of the fonts available! They have added even more as time passed and it is wonderful.
What do you dislike about the product?
There really is not much I dislike about Canva, if at all. I've been using it for years now, starting with my job in college to make flyers and infographics and presentations. It has all been amazing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to create flyers to advertise vacancies and featured properties and create social media images so quickly. It has countless benefits, especially as a marketing coordinator. We are able to create everything on this website and without it, a lot of things would not be as aesthetically pleasing or fun.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
You won't be disappointed with Canva whatsoever. There are myriads of things you can create: from flyers, newsletters, social media graphics, advertisements, email banners--you name it.
Graphic Design Made Easy
What do you like best about the product?
What I like about this software is that it is very easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to see a feature where you could die cut around an object say a logo you were making and also have it be transparent.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
All kinds from advertisements to social media images. I make a tone of stuff with Canva!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use the new training center! They now even have a Canva University! Highly Recommended.
User Friendly
What do you like best about the product?
Canva is very easy to use. People with little design experience can use it. Free version works just fine!
What do you dislike about the product?
Depending on what text box format you use your creativity can be limited.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Used to create social post graphics as well as invitations.
Easy to use and fun!
What do you like best about the product?
The built-in templates for different categories: Flyers, Web Banners, Posters, Newsletters, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not being able to resize the document after you start one. Ie: I make a web banner but need to change the dimensions I can’t change the formatting of the document. I also dislike that you have to pay for premium photographs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
streamlining the creative work needed for us
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is the free version of products like Indesign and Illustrator! You don't need a graphic design course to use this product! Anyone can use!
Helps Small Businesses Compete
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use, variety of templates, quality of images.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel as if there could be more background images for the “business” category or “meeting” as this is the category I search for the most.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have taken our marketing to a new level with Canva. We can create brochures and social media images that look as if we have hired a graphic designer- all on our nonprofit budget of zero
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Helps small businesses compete with larger companies that have in-house graphic designers
Canva is the absolute BEST and easiest for digital contest design
What do you like best about the product?
Canva is incredibly easy to use and provides EVERYTHING I need for digital design purposes! From facebook posts to instagram stories, flyers, invitations, cards, you name it! They make it very easy to design even if you have no experience!
What do you dislike about the product?
If you're used to something like photoshop, the way you move and resize designs feels different. There are also watermarked things you have to pay for if you don't like the free things. it's not a bad thing, but just a heads up
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
social media design and reach. Branded content
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take time to browse through all the various designs and don't be afraid to use ideas from one design to the next. be sure to set up your company color profile, etc, too!
Better if you have zero graphic design experience.
What do you like best about the product?
I like that it is quick and easy to design something simple, such as a quick Question of the Day post for social media.
What do you dislike about the product?
You don't have total control over every design element. It has a limited set of things, such as shapes or frames, and a limited number of ways you can manipulate them. Really, this is only meant for the most basic of things for people with no design experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allows us to have interns pump out relatively simple graphic pieces quickly, as doesn't require much skill.
Truly a godsend, in both cost and ease-of-use
What do you like best about the product?
By far the best feature has to be the predetermined sized templates based on what you need to design. I usually use Canva for put something together fairly quickly, something that may not need a ton of design but still want to make it presentable.
What do you dislike about the product?
No transparent background unless you subscribe to Canva for Work. Seriously a drag for how awesome everything else is.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've been able to show clients how to navigate Canva to solve any design issues they may have. It helps them with costs and gives them some control over their brand and items they're putting out there.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
You can design without prior knowledge of design, color schemes, kerning, etc. There are so many templates to choose from so it's incredibly easy to pick one, switch out photos, text, etc and make a design all your own without the need to hire someone or go back and forth on design ideas. Sometimes you wont know what you like until you see it so Canva is great in that sense. Also, if you want to kick up your social media posts, there are templates already sized perfectly for what platform you are going to use them for. Canva definitely doesn't replace the need for an actual designer for more detailed projects, but it helps business owners gain some autonomy.
