Canva: 6 Years of Easy, Beginner-Friendly Design for Thumbnails & Logos
What do you like best about the product?
I’ve been using the Canva editing app and the web app for the past 6 years, and I still use it to create thumbnails, logos, and sometimes short videos. When I first started as a beginner, I was looking for an easy editing application because I’m not a graphic designer. I found Canva through YouTube, downloaded it, and started using it right away. At the time, I was genuinely surprised by how easy and beginner-friendly Canva is. The availability of free resources on Canva also helps make sure you can create what you have in mind and what you want to create.
What do you dislike about the product?
As I said earlier, Canva has enough resources, but sometimes I feel like I should get Premium. The problem is that Premium is too costly for me, since I’m only using it personally and I don’t run a big company that can buy this Premium plan. I also tried a reseller Premium that promised a lifetime membership for an XYZ amount, but after one week it stopped working, and I ended up losing some money on that.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a regular user of Canva, it helps me a lot in creating stunning thumbnails, logos, and even videos. Canva really bridges the gap between content creation and design by offering a vast number of free available resources along with an easy-to-use, impressive design tool. The interface is so simple and accessible that even a 5-year-old child could create a good-quality design.

What I like best about Canva is how intuitive and accessible it is. The platform allows anyone, even without a design background, to create professional and visually appealing materials quickly and efficiently.
What do you dislike about the product?
One downside of Canva is that some advanced features and assets are limited to the paid version, and for more complex or highly customized designs, the creative flexibility can feel a bit restricted compared to professional design software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Canva solves the problem of complex and time-consuming graphic design by making design accessible to everyone. It eliminates the need for advanced technical skills or expensive software, allowing me to create professional-looking materials quickly. This benefits me by saving time, reducing costs, and enabling me to focus more on content and strategy rather than design execution.
Streamlined Design with Ease and Variety
What do you like best about the product?
I like Canva for its ease and simplicity in creating designs. The wide variety of icons, illustrations, and photos available are really useful and accessible in one platform, which saves me from the hassle of third-party sites. I appreciate the drag-and-drop interface, making it straightforward to create presentations and other documents. The templates make it easy to start new projects quickly, and sharing documents via a link simplifies the process, which can be hard with other software.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think it still does not have SVG support. And if I want vector graphics to be made, there are only a very few options inside Canva to do so. So once Canva has SVG support and it lets you create illustrations with the help of editable vectors, that will be very good. I sometimes import PowerPoint presentations into PowerPoint using Canva, but that doesn't really work at all.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Canva is easier than other software for designing elements or creating presentations. It offers high-quality design assets and a drag-and-drop interface for easy document rendering. Sharing documents via links is convenient.
Efficient Design with Easy Navigation
What do you like best about the product?
I like using Canva because it's easy to control the pages and move between them. The templates they have make design fast, and I appreciate having all my projects in one place with different kinds of materials and outcomes. Plus, I can open it anywhere, which helps me work fast and only care about the results. The initial setup was easy as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that Canva's library doesn't have as many free items as before; most of the items are for the premium users. I wish there were more free designs and templates available.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Canva makes it easy to control pages and switch between them, speeding up design with templates. It keeps all my projects in one place and accessible anywhere, allowing me to focus fast on results.

It’s easy to use, and there are plenty of templates I can reuse.

Nothing to complain about right now, because I really like most of the features. I’ve been using this for the past four years, and it has worked well for me overall.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Canva is the intuitive interface and the agility it brings to my daily life as a developer. I value tools that reduce the friction between the idea and the technical execution. The vast library of elements and the Artificial Intelligence (AI) features greatly facilitate maintaining the 'dark' visual identity of my brand, Jheytech.Ai, across all my channels. The library of elements and AI features are what truly elevate Canva to a higher level of productivity for me. They allow me to easily find components that fit the 'dark' aesthetic of Jheytech.Ai, ensuring that all my visual communication is consistent, modern, and professional. The versatility to quickly create interface mockups for my Front-end studies is a differentiator that allows me to focus on the logic of the code without neglecting the design. The setup is extremely quick and intuitive, and I value the ease of creating the Brand Kit for Jheytech.Ai without technical barriers.
What do you dislike about the product?
I miss hand-off resources, such as exporting styles directly to CSS. The layers and grids system could be more precise for UI/UX, and a stronger native integration with Notion would help in organizing Jheytech.AI.

Canva fills the gap between development and attractive design, allowing for rapid prototyping of interfaces and maintaining visual consistency without compromising the focus on programming. It saves time on complex tools and centralizes the visual identity of my projects.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that I don't have to be a major in design to use Canva. It's so easy that with just a few tries, I understood how it works. I also appreciate that there are a million options available for free, which really covers my needs without having to pay for expensive cards.

Canva lets me create birthday cards myself, saving money on expensive ones. It's easy to use, even for someone without a design background, and offers numerous free options.

What I like most is the ease of creating posts for the most different platforms. Additionally, having the entire library gathered and the development tools available in the same place makes the process more practical and organized.

It is necessary to have specific knowledge to build certain elements, and many of them end up being limited to paid plans.

Today I managed to increase the number of professional posts on my social media in a more attractive way, which also helped to expand visibility and reach.

The initial setup was very easy, with signup taking just a few minutes and the interface being simple to understand from the start.
