I tell fellow nonprofit workers about Canva all of the time
What do you like best about the product?
It is fast and easy to make an effective design for social media and our website. Also, they provide free licences to qualifying nonprofits.
What do you dislike about the product?
Converting a design into a video doesn't always work the way you would want it to. Sometimes when you save it, the timing is a little off and it makes things feel jumbly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It makes making pretty social media slides really quick. Before, we were more or less just making our posts directly in Facebook. Canva gives us more control. It is also really handy if I need to hack something together for our website. There is also a ton of free, open-source media you can use in your design. High-quality!
Makes you Look Good
What do you like best about the product?
Canva is extremely easy to use, and makes your graphics truly stand out. I am asked any time I use their presentation templates where I designed them! People cannot believe that items from Canva are not designed by professionals. It is easy, fast, and always impressive.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do think that it lacks a bit in training for new users. However, once you are past the learning curve, it is easy and intuitive. It made a huge difference to have access to paid items in Canva vs the free options.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This alleviated the need for marketing to touch every project that we have that includes design. It also helped our office look good in presentations!

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use! It's nice that a premium account comes with extra features, like the ability to resize.
What do you dislike about the product?
The free version is limited and you still can't achieve everything that you could with Adobe Illustrator, for example.

Best tool for Graphic Designing
What do you like best about the product?
It is very easy to use numerous designing templates in Canva. Templates ranging from photos, blogs, posts, resumes, logos, posters, and many different types are available for designing and customization. The drag and drop feature saves a lot of time in editing the templates. Also, since it is a cloud-based graphic designing tool, no additional software installations are required. Various file formats are also supported in Canva.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some amazing features are not present in the free version, and the pro version is a little expensive. The mobile application can be improved a bit.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Canva to make beautiful eye-catching posts and thumbnails for our social media handles. I also use it to make invitation cards, posters and short videos for our events.
Canva just works!
What do you like best about the product?
I love that there is a sample of almost everything. It really helps my team see where they can up their game. Every role is using one idea or another on this platform and not having to ask other departments for help.
What do you dislike about the product?
Using pro removes any issues that I have with the program. So many images to choose from or upload your own. The particular version has a lot of pro-only items, which is why we made the investment—no other dislikes. Saves money over time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Upgrading finished work product and having multiple team members work on the same document. This program also allows for limited skill building and the ability to have a superior product that I would otherwise have to contract with an outsider for that.

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use software in my opinion. I use it because the interface is more inviting than ms paint and can basically do the same thing, while having all files saved automatically in the cloud allowing for easy access and is good for backup..
What do you dislike about the product?
Lacking a broad range of features when making posters

I have used Canva to create posters and infographics for school tasks.
A Great (Free!) Way to Get the Job Done
What do you like best about the product?
I like the array of free designs Canva offers its users. They routinely add templates to match upcoming holidays and seasons, which is a bonus.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wouldn't say I like how they sometimes sneak in a paid graphic to an otherwise free template.

Canva solves needing a reliable resource to create social media graphics for organizations on a budget.
Best Content Creation Platform for beginner Graphic Designers
What do you like best about the product?
Canva is efficient and readily useful for numerous marketing material needs. From cards to menus to social media content and ideas, Canva can be used to create content for almost any event, promotion, tradeshow, and more. With thousands of useful templates, photos, and elements - your ideas are endless. Not to mention, they have a realm of templates readily available that you can alter and craft towards your own brand.
What do you dislike about the product?
For some reason, I have to use Safari for it to function properly 100% of the time. Sometimes if I use Chrome or Edge, it will get wonky.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ideas for content creation. How to put words into images and videos. Interactive ways and ideas to engage with your social media following. Brochure templates for tradeshows and presentations. Posters to advertise job fairs. Greeting cards and invitations for events. QR codes to register party attendees. & so much more.
Best graphic designing tool
What do you like best about the product?
Canva has a plethora of options to create the designs we want. It has many inbuilt templates with which I design my Instagram posts and website banners. I can resize the created designs and make a copy of the original to modify. It also is an excellent tool for designing presentations and make short videos to post online. I can develop web banners, logos, posts, social graphics, wallpapers, business cards, and more in the same application.
What do you dislike about the product?
With Canva, once you have downloaded a file, you can't edit the downloaded file. You have to make changes and download it again. The cost of a subscription is high, and if you want watermark-free designs, you have to purchase the subscription. But it is a small fee to pay for a great package deal.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I design Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook posts for all my clients using this platform. I have also created many client presentations using this software. The plus point is that, like Google Slide, you can work with your teammates on a presentation simultaneously without the need to download it and send it and then waiting for further comments/changes. The earlier version was a bit laggy, and if the presentation were open on one screen, the changes made on the other screen would be lost, but now the last change made by any person working on the presentation gets reflected. The pre-designed templates are excellent, and I can add different elements to modify or create my templates.
Low Learning Curve, Professional Results
What do you like best about the product?
The templates make things incredibly easy to modify and design quickly. When I am not feeling creative and would want to avoid a rut, a quick browse for the templates and my creative juices start flowing. Also, the background remover and Beta PDF importer are MAGIC.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like the fact that you can't create or use gradients very well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I manage multiple clients who need social media posts, presentations, print collateral, business collateral, and numerous other little things that would take an extraordinary amount of time to create on a platform such as Adobe.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It won't replace Adobe for those detailed projects that simply require that level of tools, but it will certainly replace everything else and cut down on the time spent churning out marketing collateral.
