Fast, Intuitive Design Tool with Powerful Templates and Magic Studio AI

  • February 17, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Canva is a lifesaver if you need professional designs but aren't a designer. It’s fast, the drag-and-drop tools are intuitive, and the "Magic Studio" AI handles the tedious stuff like resizing or background removal in seconds. Between the massive template library and the Brand Kit keeping your colors in one place, it's easily the best way to knock out high-quality social posts or decks without the headache of complex software.
What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest downside is that Canva can feel a bit "locked down" if you’re trying to do serious professional work. It relies heavily on an internet connection, so if your Wi-Fi is spotty, the app tends to lag or even crash while saving. Advanced users also get frustrated with the lack of fine control—things like precise layer management or high-end print settings (CMYK) just aren't there. Plus, the pricing has become a bit of a pain; between the monthly sub and the "AI credits" system, it starts to feel expensive, especially when you realize you don't actually own the exclusive rights to the logos or icons you're using.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Canva basically solves the "high barrier to entry" problem for design by making it so you don't need a degree to create something professional. Instead of spending hours learning complex software or hiring an expensive pro, you can just use the drag-and-drop interface and "Magic Studio" AI to knock out high-quality posts or decks in minutes. It also fixes the headache of keeping your brand consistent; the Brand Kit locks in your logos and colors so everything you make actually looks like it belongs to the same business. For you, the biggest benefit is the pure speed—it’s an all-in-one "Creative OS" that replaces three or four different apps, letting you design, edit video, and even schedule social posts all from one window without the usual technical friction.

User-friendly platform to create striking designs in minutes

  • February 16, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like how user-friendly the platform is, even for someone who doesn't know how to design. If they just spend a few minutes getting to know the app, they are very capable of achieving an attractive and presentable design.
What do you dislike about the product?
Many times they neither update nor renew the designs of the template catalog, and in the end, it feels repetitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Canva simplifies design. Many of us want to create visual content like posters, presentations, posts, stories, and things like that for social media, as well as flyers, banners, resumes, or short videos, but not all of us are designers nor do we have time to learn complex programs like Photoshop or Illustrator, and the user-friendliness of this platform allows us to do it easily.

User-Friendly with Powerful Design Tools

  • February 16, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I think what I like most about Canva is that it is easy to use. Although it uses layers, making it a bit sophisticated for editing artwork, it is still very user-friendly. By hovering over the little question marks and marks on the screen, you can easily see the function you would use if you were to click on something. This makes it very easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that Canva can be very specific at times. When you import a document, you have to know what size you want it to be and what kind of document or piece of artifact you want it to be. Whether an ad or a story or whatever, you have to have some preplanning in mind. It's hard to do it on the fly and just go as you pick it as you go.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Canva lets me add text and edit photos in one place, making it way more convenient than using several different programs.

Effortless Design, Endless Possibilities

  • February 16, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Canva to create graphics for my podcast, social media, email newsletter, and work as a content creator and artist. I really appreciate how it helps me easily create graphics and content without the expense or time of hiring a professional designer. I like the different templates and the ability to easily modify and customize them. The ability to swap out graphics or images, and change color schemes and fonts, are aspects that I use the most. The initial setup was pretty easy, even though it was a long time ago. I rate it a 10 out of 10 because I appreciate the program a lot.
What do you dislike about the product?
I often will pick something that I think is an image, but it’s a video file and I wish that there was something but the same design elements as a photo option as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Canva to easily create graphics for various platforms without hiring a designer. The templates and customization options for graphics, images, colors, and fonts save me time while providing flexibility.

What do you like best about the product?
I use Canva for creating Instagram reels, making posters, and invitation cards. It's a powerful tool for creating exclusive invitations, pictures, and videos. Canva really speeds up the process with its inbuilt templates, acting as a kickstarter that you can then edit as you like. The ability to select from numerous templates and edit them saves a lot of time overall. I like that templates act as a starting point and combined with the drag and drop feature, they allow me to customize things and make them look as I want. The initial setup was extremely easy, just a few clicks to sign in and that's it.

Canva Makes Professional Design Fast and Accessible for Everyone

  • February 13, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Canva is how easy it makes professional-looking design accessible to everyone, even without a design background. The drag-and-drop interface, huge library of templates, fonts, icons, and photos, and built-in tools for resizing, animations, and brand kits save a massive amount of time. It’s especially helpful that you can create everything in one place—social media posts, presentations, videos, flyers, and more—without switching software. The collaboration features are another big upside, making it simple for teams to edit and share designs together in real time.
What do you dislike about the product?
One downside of Canva is that while it’s great for quick, simple designs, it can feel limiting for more advanced or highly customized projects compared to professional design software. Some features and assets are locked behind the paid version, which can be frustrating. The editor can occasionally lag with large or complex designs, and because many people use the same templates, it’s sometimes harder to make designs feel truly unique without extra customization.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Canva solves the problem of making design accessible, fast, and affordable—especially for individuals and small teams who don’t have a dedicated graphic designer.

From a business perspective, it helps solve several key problems:

1. Time efficiency
Instead of starting from scratch, templates allow quick creation of social posts, presentations, proposals, flyers, and marketing materials. This significantly reduces turnaround time.

2. Cost savings
It reduces the need to outsource basic design work. For many businesses, that means fewer freelance design expenses or less reliance on expensive software.

3. Brand consistency
With brand kits (logos, fonts, colors), teams can keep all visuals consistent across platforms, which strengthens brand identity.

4. Collaboration challenges
Real-time editing, commenting, and sharing make it easier for teams to work together without long email chains or file version confusion.

5. Content production at scale
Businesses need constant content for social media, ads, emails, and presentations. Canva streamlines that production process so marketing efforts can stay consistent and frequent.

Overall, Canva helps bridge the gap between needing professional-quality visuals and not having specialized design resources, which improves productivity, marketing impact, and overall efficiency.
