In the past, creating training materials meant waiting for design support or managing several tools. Now, our L&D team can create polished slides, job aids, and infographics in-house, often in much less time.
It also tackles the problem of brand alignment. Templates and shared brand kits ensure that every piece of content, from onboarding decks to microlearning visuals, looks professional and meets company standards.
The benefits are obvious: quicker turnaround on learning content, more engaging materials for participants, and reduced reliance on external design resources. This combination cuts costs while improving the quality of our programs.

Make your own designs without needing complicated tutorials
What do you like best about the product?
The first time I used it was for a last-minute presentation request. I didn’t bother with the tutorial or manual—just opened the app, picked a template, and was off to the races. Twenty minutes later, I had something that looked like it came from a professional designer: clean layout, consistent style, matching fonts, the works. The collaboration part is also great. My team can see updates to a design in real time, so no more emailing revisions back and forth. One client even asked for live edits during a meeting—I tweaked the design in Canva, sent him the link, and he watched the changes appear instantly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven’t run into any problems that made me second-guess it. Canva has never crashed on me or interrupted my workflow. I will say the Pro version unlocks extra features, but honestly, the free version covered about 90% of what I needed without any issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Whenever my marketing team needs visuals, but we don’t have a designer on hand, we go straight to Canva. Weekly Instagram posts, campaign posters, even internal docs—we can make them look polished in no time. One afternoon we built an entire pitch deck for a client using templates, stock photos, and our logo. The client was blown away, and honestly, nobody would have guessed we pulled it off without a design team.

Great for aesthetic presentations
What do you like best about the product?
I like Canva because it has great templates for presentations.
What do you dislike about the product?
The templates are nice, but it can be hard to customize them with all the layers and features on them; makes it a headache to personalize. Has also glitched in the past unpredictably.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Better at other platforms for presentations, creating backgrounds, working with images, etc. . I've struggled with the aesthetics of presentations to make them appear more engaging which Canva has helped with both its templates. And its AI suggested layout suggestions are a game changer for me.

What I always loved about Canav was having a mobile and desktop version, with the mobile version being very easy to use for creating content. I love this app, and now especially because it has AI functions.

What do you like best about the product?
Canva is extremely user-friendly, even for someone without a design background. I love how it provides a wide range of ready-made templates, fonts, and elements that make it easy to create professional-looking graphics, presentations, and documents in just a few minutes. The drag-and-drop interface feels intuitive, and the collaboration feature makes working with others really smooth. It’s also very convenient that everything is cloud-based, so I can access my designs from anywhere.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the free version has limitations, especially when it comes to premium elements and stock photos. Also, when working on larger projects, the editor can feel a little slow at times. However, these are minor issues compared to the overall value it provides.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Canva saves me a lot of time and effort when it comes to designing presentations, posters, social media posts, and even resumes. Before, I had to rely on complex software or hire someone to get professional-looking designs, but now I can do it myself quickly. It helps me communicate ideas visually without spending hours learning design tools. The ready-made templates and easy customization also give me confidence that my work will look polished and creative, even if I’m not a professional designer.
