Great tool for engineering and product both
What do you like best about the product?
Great tool for insights that encapsulates metrics for both engineering (via GitHub) and product (via JIRA). Helpful for engineers and senior leadership.
What do you dislike about the product?
not much at the moment. very happy with the metrics
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Metrics over time within the same team
Still new to this tool. Learning all the cool stuff it has to offer and it looks promising!
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to track where the teams are focused and how we are spending engineering time. Gives insights into teams and individual metrics.
What do you dislike about the product?
There seems to be some learning curve and requires a lot of setup and clean-up before getting some value out of this tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Need to understand if the teams are working on the right things. Also, help with one of the big pain points for the teams - Time tracking.
Strong Insights & Excellent Support
What do you like best about the product?
The flexibility of Jellyfish in how they can couple their BI solution to your specific jira setup and your specific organization is great. They really partner with you to answer the questions every engineering org looks to work through as they grow.
What do you dislike about the product?
Loading times can be slow especially as you do a large query.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Where are we spending our time? Are we distracted as an engineering org? Are we going to reach milestones at the desired pace?

What do you like best about the product?
I really liked the look and feel of the interface. Very intuitive to drill down.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much information about non coders that's those who work outside of GIT and JIRA.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Resource allocations metrics.

Nice tool for reviewing relative allocation of the team's bandwidth

What do you like best about the product?
Jellyfish is an out of the box tool that allows me to communicate development metrics with parties that normally would not understand them. It's so simple to use and their product offerings just keep growing!
In 2022 we had issues with their DevOps metric offerings, but they have since made strides working closely with our team to meet our needs!

What do you dislike about the product?
Last I used Jellyfish they did not allow for custom dashboards
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Jellyfish helps our teams track our cycle time, our investment allocation and so much more with just a couple clicks. The ability to drill down lets us see data from a full organization view all the way down to individual engineers!
Way more than just an app or product.
What do you like best about the product?
I love that you're basically buying a team to help you understand your metrics and how to approach changes.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't wait to see more user examples of dashboards and metrics options.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Knowing where our engineering dollars are going. Seeing real costs of product development. Better future predictions.

What do you like best about the product?
The single system view of software delivery is great for managing performance. Without JellyFish, I'd need to analyze issues in Jira and contributions in Github separately myself.
What do you dislike about the product?
The page load speed can be frustrating at times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
JellyFish helps me drive software delivery by watching KPIs around shipping software to production every day. The metrics JellyFish provides allows me to see when teams are slowing down so that I can investigate and help remove friction for those teams.

What do you like best about the product?
Overall user experience and productivity-enhancing experience that the tool offers is simply best-in-class and deserves a commendable applause from the user community
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing as such...Though the performance can be improved with higher intuitive UI and more multi-threaded applications that run in parallel and deliver more workloads

Customer and in-house product management and program management aspects do get well covered.

What do you like best about the product?
It's a super clear interface and helps us keep track of our efficiency. Seems easy to integrate too.

I don't have any dislikes. I use only a core set of features, maybe there are more to use.

We're able to easily track how much work is done each week and how much work is carried over

I like how our team was able to keep track of deliverables and confidently predict our planned delivery timeline to inform our partners in coordinated projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
At times, I found it difficult to utilize the product are our organization dramatically grew in scope and overall personnel on our team. I found it difficult to internalize the metrics in an easy format.

As our team grew in size, it also grew dramatically in scope. As we took on more projects, we needed a way to manage our projects within. We needed a way to measure the work of each engineer and team.
