Jellyfish pros and cons
What do you like best about the product?
I think the best thing of jellyfish is how it collect detail metrics about project mananagement and software tools, such as jira and git metrics.
What do you dislike about the product?
Onboarding is not that great, since it's a complex tool.
Also, the price is a bit spicy

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
challenges in software development, such as inefficient resource allocation and detailed metrics on software development.
with it detailed analytics , Jellyfish helps us to identify bottlenecks.

Jellyfish makes it easy to be transparent and keep stakeholders engaged
What do you like best about the product?
Very specific and tailor-made solutions for software engineering metrics. Lots of manual tasks and data gathering is done automatically. Very often when a particular question or obscure requirement comes up we think "can probably do that in JF" - and we can.
Especially useful is the best practice guides and benchmarking. It can be so difficult (and time consuming) to validate your business processes in the tech industry. With Jellyfish, it's just there.

What do you dislike about the product?
There's a couple of minor UI bugs that annoy me.
Really the biggest problem with Jellyfish is that it can be hamstrung by your process and data hygeine in other systems. If your code repos are in poor state, or your Jira instance has 20 years of mis-use cluttering up custom fields, that needs to be addressed before you can get good value out of the Jellyfish product.
That's not a Jellyfish problem, but if you're evaluating vendors in this space that's the biggest risk, in my opinion.

Awesome app for Project Management
What do you like best about the product?
Metrics metrics metrics!! Dashboards and information calculated automatically by default is really useful. Also how it integrates with Github, JIRA, Confluence, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing at the moment, maybe how to manage with Kanban Boards is something that I need to explore more further
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Team performance bottlenecks
Valuable tool to make JIRA data easier to consume
What do you like best about the product?
As a product manager, Jellyfish makes all the data coming out of JIRA actually usable. I find that otherwise, trying to struggle with figuring out the right views or filters, ensuring the right people have access in JIRA, etc means I'm often not checking how the team is tracking. Being able to quickly review how initiatives and epics are progressing, where the team is spending their time, and estimated delivery dates is so quick.
What do you dislike about the product?
The challenge with Jellyfish is that the navigation isn't immediately the most usable. It's a bit clunky to get around and even to find the teams you're responsible for. The data isn't as flexible as I'd want to slice and dice it, and I wish there was a way to take the Jellyfish views and embed them into other software like Confluence or Slides so that it's easier to report on with context.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Consolidating data from across JIRA and compiling it into a view that I can manage at the workstream or squad level to see how things are progressing.
A couple of great metrics. Insight needs to be applied with care
What do you like best about the product?
Really useful metrics to observe how a team is doing. It gives the right indication but cant be used necessarily for face value. You still need to think about what the metrics mean.
Its really easy to use and visually very appealing.

What do you dislike about the product?
Managers / PM might tend to jump to conclusions. If a metric doesnt look good there might be valid reasons.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Increase sprint productivity
Uncover inefficiency or team problems

moving away from less accurate manual clocking
What do you like best about the product?
Jellyfish provide insights on the data which is powerful
What do you dislike about the product?
lack of ability to customise yourself and all the changes require JF to impliment based on the road map
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
clocking data, Tax credit reports, insights on productivity, software capitalisation reports
Excellent tool for quickly reviewing stats across Git and Atlassian
What do you like best about the product?
Shows me high level combined information across GitHub and Atlassian suite of applications. Its great to get the birdseye view and then also have the ability to drill down to lower level details
What do you dislike about the product?
Would like to see more reporting functionality and ability to create reports directly without needing intervention from JF team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is giving us a combined view of GitHub and Jira. This gives us many benefits, such as: identify areas of weakness, benchmark internal teams, reward good behaviours, stats over time etc...
Tool for Management and Performance Tracking
What do you like best about the product?
Jellyfish has completely changed the way we manage our engineering team. It integrates smoothly with our tools like JIRA, GitHub giving us a clear view of what's happening across projects. Dashboards and in-depth analytics are amazing for tracking progress and spotting issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
Downside is there was a steep learning curve in the beginning where I have to work with PMO's to understand. And also setting up the team initially which was a challenge for my case.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has helped us bridging the gap between the engineering teams and business teams which helped us to strategically align our technical work with the business goals. And also helped us to make data driven decisions on the estimations.
