Egynte works great for safe file storage and transfers
What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can have Egynte folders synced in my documents in my file explorer on my computer, as opposed to individually upload files from a web browser.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think there's more that can be done around sharing files that are stored in egnyte.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I work with many confidential parts from customers, and storing and exchanging files through Egnyte allows customers to be confident that their proprietary files are safe.

What do you like best about the product?
Sharing files with clients with restricted acces for other people, it's safe for our files and good for sensitive content.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's a little difficult to understand at first, locating your files can become a nightmare.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sharing files with only the people envolved in a proyect and working with teams all over the world.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Please give employes and everyone that will use it a workshop so all the files are correctly uploaded and in the right place. It is a great tool for working with different teams in real time.

What do you like best about the product?
The dashboard, security features, file structure and general ease of use. History of file sharing/manipulation is helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Inherited permissions and how to use correctly can at times be confusing and I have given access to folks that I didn't want to give access to. Copying and moving folders via the browser can some times be clunky, especially if you have many folders and buried sub-folders.

Controlled and secure file sharing internally and to different remote locations around the world

Game changer!
What do you like best about the product?
Super easy to use, very little start up time. Really changed my financial planning practice and make it completely paperless. And i can access files safely from anywhere, including mobile devices.
What do you dislike about the product?
Doesn’t make dinner!! Seriously there is nothing i dislike about Egnyte.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Safe cloud storage. Freedom for myself and my staff.
Great Online Cloud Server
What do you like best about the product?
It integrates with the desktop, so it has the ease of everything being local while actually being stored in the cloud.
What do you dislike about the product?
Their support team can sometimes take a while to resolve an issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We moved our company's server to the cloud. Everyone can access all files from anywhere.

The "link accessed" feature that informs you when link is viewed.
What do you dislike about the product?
That it does not update in real time. Manual add needed for immediate link at times.

Sending documents without direct server links.

Effective Filing System
What do you like best about the product?
It has a simple and easy to use system for filing.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have a lot of issues with Webedit, and often there is trouble saving files. Luckily Egnyte has some backup protocols that ensures my files are saved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has made our organizations longterm filing possible, so we have records from both online and in hard copy.

What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to use, search, and upload and download. It makes working at home much easier. I like the search feature best. I also like that you can email a link to the file or document as well as the fact that you can limit the folders that some users can access.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing comes to mind. It is a good product that allows you to share information easily. The look of the product is a little dated and I think it could look a little more modern, but as far as functionality goes, the product works really well and I prefer it to Dropbox.

We have been using egnyte for a while because some of our offices are in different states, but while working at home it has been even more useful.

What do you like best about the product?
Access it from anywhere. Always reliable.
What do you dislike about the product?
Would be helpful to have someone help onboard. Graphical interface isn't the most exciting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps us share files - with our team, with consultants etc. No need to maintain a server in the office.

What do you like best about the product?
That files can be recovered, so when you delete by mistake, IT guys can help you.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes is hard to move between files and the fact that many times I create a link and forget to make them available more than a month. It should be more visible.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I love that I have my personal folder.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I don't like using the app, because I prefer to have control over what I upload, and many times it's hard to synchronize the computer with Egnyte.
