Egnyte has been great, and we are glad we switched over from our previous provider
What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful thing from Egnyte is being to use it as our server, we are able to quickly share file with our team and our customers and its amazing at organizing projects. I also like the user interface which is not cluttered, the folder organization is the same as the one on my local pc. Another thing i really like is the simplicity of adding users to Egnyte and the creation of groups, and the ability to give different permission.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside i have is probably that whenever i share multiple files, it creates a link for each file rather than making one link for all. Another issue that i have ran into is that it allows separate people to open the same file without any type of warning which creates the possibility of overwriting another's users work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Egnyte is helping with allowing our team have access to our files in an online server. It has also helped with the speediness and accessibility of posted files, once we upload files, we are able to quickly get a link to share with others.

What do you like best about the product?
Very user friendly interface, easy to learn and teach.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the links can get mixed up. It would be beneficial to have an indicator when a link is void.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps with not needing a VPN when working remote.

What do you like best about the product?
Egnyte offers a storage solution that fully integrates into a Windows environment. The Egnyte server works like any other drive and it uses our authentication system for seamless security. The mobile app gives you convenient access to your files while on the go. The ability to request files from outside users via a drag and drop web interface is invaluable for helping projects get off the ground quicker, and less confusing than dealing with dozens of email attachments. It is very easy to recover damaged Excel files with Egnyte’s file version tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be nice to create file request request links from within the native Windows environment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Egnyte eliminated the need to have a VPN set up to access files on the local server. Then it eliminated the need for a local server. I’m far more comfortable with offsite storage.

Make sure your authentication server is set up properly.

What do you like best about the product?
It makes the user job easy to access and store large file. The search option is faster than the search option in computer which makes it easy and fast to look for the files. As i am the user for Egnyte i haven't face any of the issues till now. So it is good tool and makes the job easier.It protect your data as well.

It saves time if you are finding the specific file and yo do not know where you saved it. Other then the system if you have saved the file in the computer with numerous large files stored in it, it will take lot of time to find the file.

This is the best application to where you can save your file and without any fear of losing the data.
Access From Anywhere
What do you like best about the product?
I very much enjoy working remotely, egnyte makes that possible by giving me access to all the files I need at work and the ability to edit them on my desktop is great.
What do you dislike about the product?
Wish I could drag, copy/paste files into an email instead of having to download them first.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Problems: slight inconvenience having to call and talk to someone to update webedit. I'd like to be able to update without help.

Egnyte allows me to share resources with partners in a an easy, clean, intuitive way without opening us up to data breaches via email.

Not sure how to answer this one. To date, I've been very pleased.

What do you like best about the product?
This platform is suitable for companies that are in charge of frequently reviewing files, documents, photos, among others. Provides cloud storage and syncs very well with desktop. In addition, its operation is ideal since we can easily share with users who do not use Egnyte . We can access any file remotely thanks to its mobile application, we always maintain performance thanks to its good interface and connectivity.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have no complaints, our experience has been quite pleasant with the platform, it works well and our performance has improved. However, we consider the additional payments a bit high compared to other platforms that we use previously.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
At the company we use it daily for all our clients' projects since it is ideal for storing large files in the cloud and accessing them from anywhere. We feel comfortable with dropbox because it is very easy to use, it does not have a very steep learning curve, just as the days go by you already know what functions and tools are to start working with it quickly. We improve our management and administration of files, we maintain a fluid and quality work. It has good integrations and its interface is really organized, clean, it has search options that undoubtedly saves a lot of time and allows us to efficiently obtain the files we want. We use the web version and the mobile application.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
it is really excellent for both personal and commercial use, you can make backup copies to store and view large files, it has a perfect search system to save time and maintain the work flow, in addition to quickly finding and categorizing the files you want . It has good synchronization with the desktop and the mobile application. In addition, the mobile application allows you to access remotely and maintain productivity from anywhere you are. It is easy to use and its interface is clean, organized and easy to navigate.

What do you like best about the product?
It is very easy to use and downloads/uploads very fast.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't think there's anything to dislike, it is not as common as DropBox, but essentially does the same functions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am able to send very large files, pictures and floor plans to my prospective and existing clients.
Just what we needed
What do you like best about the product?
Egnyte is accessible from all of our devices. It is consistently reliable and has enabled our company to collaborate much more efficiently. The Desktop Connect integration is so valuable and easy to use. It is the exact cloud-based service we need to keep our business running from anywhere.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are very few flaws with Egnyte. It is occasionally frustrating to have so many steps to authenticate your identity - but it is necessary for the level of security provided.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have been able to get rid of our VPN connections between offices that were incredibly slow. Being able to access our files from any location (and offline) has been tremendously more helpful than we expected. We have also been able to gain more clientele by describing all of our capabilities Egnyte has enabled us with.
