Effortless Funnel Building and Real-Time Segmentation

What do you like best about the product?
Funnels are extremely easy to build, you just pick the events and MoEngage instantly shows drop-offs, conversion rates, and time taken between steps. Great for both QA validation and product decision-making.
Segments update in real time, which makes it simple to verify whether users are entering or exiting a segment after specific actions.
The ability to filter funnels by device type, location, user properties, or custom attributes gives a much richer understanding of problem areas.
Segments can be reused across campaigns, which means once you define a behavioral pattern (like “added to cart but never purchased”), it's available everywhere.
What do you dislike about the product?
Funnels with very high data volume sometimes take a bit longer to load. If event names are not standardized well, funnel building becomes messy, this puts pressure on teams to maintain strict naming discipline.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Funnels reveal exactly where users drop off in key flows like onboarding, checkout, or feature adoption, making it easier to prioritize fixes. Funnels instantly highlight if an event in the sequence is missing or misfiring after a deployment. Segments help target the right users with campaigns and personalization, e.g., “users who viewed vs. users who completed an action.” Behavioral segmentation helps validate whether campaigns are reaching the intended audience, especially during A/B tests. Together, funnels + segments create a clear picture of user intent, which improves product roadmaps and testing strategies.

What do you like best about the product?
The dashboard gives a very clean overview of user journeys, it's easy to trace how users move through different parts of the product. Event tracking is straightforward, and the real-time event stream helps verify instrumentation quickly during testing. Segmentation is incredibly powerful; you can slice users based on actions, timing, location, or behavior patterns. The campaign builder is intuitive, push notifications, emails, and in-app messages can be created without depending on engineering every time.

I appreciate how easy it is to validate events from both the browser and MoEngage console during QA cycles.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI can feel slightly slow when switching between heavy analytics reports. Event names and attributes need strict consistency, any naming mismatch becomes confusing quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It validates whether events are firing correctly across different user flows, critical for downstream analytics and personalization. Helps catch missing or duplicate events during QA before they reach production. Gives product teams deeper insights into user drop-offs, engagement patterns, and campaign effectiveness. Reduces dependency on engineering for small marketing or retention campaigns. Enables faster debugging because you can trace the entire chain - user action then event then segmentation and finally campaign trigger.

What do you like best about the product?
MoEngage is excellent for building personalised, omnichannel campaigns and tracking user journeys in detail.

The platform’s automation workflows, segmentation, and analytics make it easy to engage users at the right time with the right message. I particularly like the ease of campaign execution across email, push, WhatsApp, and in-app notifications, and the actionable insights that help us improve conversions and retention.
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform is feature-rich, but the UI can feel a bit overwhelming for new users, especially when setting up advanced journeys. At times, the reporting dashboards load slowly for large datasets. I would also like to see even smoother integrations with third-party tools for a more seamless workflow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
MoEngage is helping us solve the challenge of personalizing engagement at scale. Instead of generic campaigns, we can now deliver tailored messages based on user behavior, preferences, and lifecycle stage across email, push, WhatsApp, and in-app. This level of personalization has significantly improved retention and conversion rates.

At the same time, the advanced analytics and reporting features provide a clear picture of what’s working and what’s not. The ability to track funnels, segment performance, and campaign impact in real time enables us to make faster, data-driven decisions.

In short, MoEngage bridges the gap between execution and insight. We not only engage users better but also continuously refine our strategy based on measurable outcomes.

What do you like best about the product?
MoEngage excels at providing a unified platform for personalized customer engagement across multiple channels — push notifications, emails, in-app messages, SMS, and more. Its intuitive journey builder and segmentation tools make it easy to create contextual, automated campaigns based on user behavior and lifecycle stage.

The analytics dashboard offers actionable insights, helping us constantly optimize performance and conversion. The integration process was smooth, and the support team has been proactive and responsive throughout our usage.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the platform is feature-rich, it can feel a bit overwhelming at first, especially for new users or teams without a dedicated CRM/MarTech resource. Some advanced features like funnel analysis or cohort comparisons could be more user-friendly in terms of UI/UX.

Also, the learning curve for creating complex journeys or understanding attribution metrics can be steep — better in-platform guidance or tooltips would help.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
MoEngage helps us tackle the challenge of engaging users across their lifecycle in a personalized and automated way. We use it to reduce churn, improve user onboarding, and drive feature adoption through contextual nudges and triggered campaigns.

It also helps bridge the gap between product and marketing teams by offering a shared, data-driven view of user behavior and campaign performance. With MoEngage, we’ve been able to run targeted campaigns based on user attributes, behavior, and preferences — resulting in higher engagement and conversion rates.

The personalized brand orchestration along with multichannel messaging from web , email and sms which helps to engage with customer on every front

What do you like best about the product?
Moengage is a great tool for entry level CRM officer as it offers straight forward UI/UX . The flow set up is pretty straightforward if we want to implement a basic logic.
What do you dislike about the product?
It requires tech help for when we want to update user's profile with the latest data according to the flow we've created.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Moengage mainly solves our automation process as it provide a way to do repetitive marketing processes that we have, such as sending trigger base coms.

What do you like best about the product?
MoEngage has the most advanced segmentation of campaign and Analytics reports and targets the customer

MoEngage is solving the problem of designing a creative onto the platform itself. There are multiple sample templates. Additionally, we can create our template in the way we want.

What do you like best about the product?
MoEngage is a great tool for marketing communications. The ease of tracking open and click rates and a user-friendly dashboard are great. The account reps are always extreamly responsive and helpful. We sent out about 1 email campaign a week.
What do you dislike about the product?
The inabilty to track the actual database of email accounts we have.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Identifying our most engaged consumers.

Easy to use email marketing platform with great customer service

What do you like best about the product?
MoEngage offers all the capabilities of a complex email marketing platform but has a great, simple user interface. Their support team does an excellent job of getting clients onboarded within a timely manner and continues to follow up after implementation.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a few things throughout the platform that could probably be made easier, especially if you're used to a more basic esp like MailChimp or Campaign Monitor.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
MoEngage saves us time when building and sending emails with their user friendly email builder.
