How has it helped my organization?
Splunk Infrastructure Monitoring has enabled us to be more proactive. We can identify and respond to an issue before there is a failure. It has helped us significantly. For example, if somebody is attacking us we can detect that there is an increase in traffic and investigate to see if it's legitimate. We can block them or take other actions before it becomes a problem.
What is most valuable?
Splunk Infrastructure Monitoring gives us complete visibility without the need for storage. We can visualize our infrastructure. Where is the traffic going? Are there any attacks? What are our vulnerabilities?
What needs improvement?
Splunk could be better integrated with configuration manager solutions so we can automatically resolve issues without human interference.

What do I think about the stability of the solution?
Splunk Infrastructure Monitoring is stable.

Splunk is scalable. It's easy to add more devices as needed.

Before Splunk, we used multiple vendors, including Cisco, SolarWinds NPM, and WhatsUp Gold.

The deployment process isn't complicated. We installed Splunk on a VM and started it. We have a team to deploy and monitor it.

Splunk is worth the investment. When an incident happens, you need reports immediately, and Splunk is the best monitoring solution for this.

Splunk is expensive, but it's the best solution for the job.

I rate Splunk Infrastructure Monitoring a nine out of ten. Splunk is a responsive piece of software. It's user-friendly and easy to get the data you need. I advise people to take the time to learn how to create reports and analytics.

It utilises great intelligence for monitoring, one can find out the logs for other third party involvments also.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lenghty process involved for the outcome in searching of logs.

Logs from different platforms are correlated qnd the results one xan see in a very user friendly manner.

I loved the user experience while using Splunk Observability Cloud. Everything is well situated and easily searchable.

The AI assisted troubleshooting is not always accurate.

The Splunk Log Observer helps investigate infrastructure logs in minutes instead of hours. It provides nice graphical representation of Logs.

It is helpful to a certain extent. It helps in correlation, drilling down the events from raw logs. Its search index is very helpful in hunting.

Hunting for any event is slightly tedious process.

What do you like best about the product?
Splunk IT cloud seems very helpful while working on Azure cloud. Redis data, response time, cpu and memory for the required data helps alot in monitoring. Writing query and river flow structure monitoring seems helpful to me in comparison to other monitoring tools
What do you dislike about the product?
Cribil changes has always troubled me. Also sometimes, creating query with rex has little issues. Main trouble is regex while creating my own field doesn't seems to be working proper as I did yesterday.

Monitoring over the other tools is quite not familiar and flexible for the users. Data for each second gives you good view and clearance regarding the logs in performance testing. So it is actually helping much better

The best feature of Splunk Observability cloud is providing the traces of the application in near real-time.

Less Log retention time becoz after sometime some if the traces are not available for post mortem

Splunk Observability Cloud is kind of one-stop solution for application monitoring by providing traces and giving multiple aspects of the app by simply setting up dashboards, which helps us to give a 360 degree view of the cloud app and infra. This helps us to give a thorough check of the Cloud related issues and take corrective actions.
Splunk is my go to tool for all things observabilty!

Splunk observabilty cloud enables me to get detailed insights and analytics. We have relied on its intelligent alerting for all our applications. Splunk also provides efficient logging capabilities!

The main concern for me is the cost. Splunk tends to get very expensive for large application logging. Since many applications ingest large amounts of data, Splunk increases the overall expenditure.

Splunk is the go to place to get an overview of the end to end application stack and especially for a micro services driven architecture, Splunk enables to track the flow E2E. Another biggest problem Splunk helps solve is troubleshooting! Due to its immaculate logging and alerting, troubleshooting becomes easy.
