Hubspot has enabled us to scale our SAAS Startup
What do you like best about the product?
I love the robust capabilities of automation using complex rules and custom email templates that allow me to automate our onboarding process heavily.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish I wasn't limited on the number of custom report cards I could create.
I wish I could view the "Entered Stage X Date" as the raw data field instead of having to have it in a graph.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are saving a lot of time through Hubspots features to:
1) Create custom data fields associated with our contacts, companies and deals
2) Create custom/complex automated workflows based off of these fields and action triggers. These include sending emails to automate our onboarding process, remind our team of specific actions so nothing falls through the cracks
3) Create custom emails and include these in our customer facing onboarding automations

B2B not great for B2C
What do you like best about the product?
We originally got this tool to get more departments on the same ESP. However, this worked better for the B2B side of our business than it did for B2B. The built-in landing page feature is really nice.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think ultimately we grew out of this tool. Hubspot has a lot of good company-level data, but it doesn't store any user-level data as an array. Also, some of the database type data that we were looking to use only works for landing pages, not for email.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm not as familiar with the sales side of things. My team mainly uses Hubspot for email and landing pages. But honestly, this platform was much more of a step up from Mailchimp which we were previously using.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would use it if you're looking for a step up from Mailchimp, especially automating emails. The data that you can store at the user level is also much better with Hubspot.
Reliable, easy to use, and continuously improving
What do you like best about the product?
How useful it is for a remote team like mine, it's easy to connect all your efforts and data, plus the service in English is so good and fast! Finally, even though it doesn't have a strong analytics side, it has improved so much and it keeps bringing new features every month.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some key properties, especially when I want to track ads investment or deal-related aspects, that aren't available yet. The service in Spanish can improve, and the team needs better training with the tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having everything in one place saves us a lot of time and reduces the need for additional help.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Identify your goals first, what do you expect to gain with a software. Maybe it is best to start with the free version or the one for startups, it has a lot of features and the HubSpot onboarding is quite expensive. So be sure your team is trained correctly and the tool will help you.
The easiest to use Lead Automation Management platform
What do you like best about the product?
The onboarding experience was amazing, the training and support are excellent. I have used Marketo and Pardot in the past, they both did what I wanted from them, but now that I work with a larger marketing team I find Hubspot is suited much better to the less technical user as everything is easy to use and intuitive. The WISIWIG editors are simple to use and it's very rare that we have to resort to editing in HTML.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is little to dislike, but if I was to make one it would be that if you want to get more granular in making lists Marketo would have more control. A simple test of this would be to quickly create a list of the top 100 companies in an industry, and build a contact list from that criteria, this is not so simple in Hubspot where Marketo made this simple. The theme of the UI is very white, when viewing dashboards late at night can be a little blinding, a dark theme would be a handy add on.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Outbound email campaigns are our main use, we use the forms for lead generation and a few landing pages, but we opt to host our own website for the reason of better control. The workflows are very powerful the integration with salesforce comes in handy here, where salesforce campaigns and task can be easily updated and synced.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's a great tool, the pricing is good
Nurturing like no other!
What do you like best about the product?
I have been using Hubspot for 5 years now in two different businesses. It's automation and lead nurturing potential are second to none and really give me time, as a marketing executive, to focus on higher level thinking.
What do you dislike about the product?
When I moved roles we flirted with other CRMs and one aspect that I believe a lot of other CRMs are doing that Hubspot aren't is a 'tagging' system. The properties are great but certainly limited in the contact record in terms of visibility. Having a tagging system gives you the vital insights into what a contact or company is doing with your business in an instant without having to scroll through the record.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're solving reporting problems, we're building better insights and developing better solutions. We're re-engaging lapsed spenders and nurturing new ones.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're not going to use all of it's tools there are probably better priced CRMs out there.
All-in-one powerful platform for marketers
What do you like best about the product?
We use social media for the entire marketing team. I, personally, find the social media management tools very useful together with social media listening and analysing.
What do you dislike about the product?
The statistics in web traffic don't exactly match numbers in Twitter analytics.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using streams in monitoring tool enables me to gather insights on what other people think of our products and services.
Multiuse software
What do you like best about the product?
theres a lot of different things you can use hubspot for, especially marketing hub. Ctas, landing pages and the traffic metrics are invaluable. Especially if you can build them into your already existing website. Landing pages are pretty good with the different types of pages you can create, as longs as you have some creative and a little bit of technical skills.
What do you dislike about the product?
A few things like connections for the domains and intergrations werent smooth, although that was probably usre error.
My biggest gripe with hubspot is that we dont know- what we dont know. Our onboarding period didn't feel like we learned that much and that we're still in the dark with what we should be aiming for.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The reports & analytics tool is easier to read that most other reports.
Its nice to see what fails from a marketing perspective so we dont do it again.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Argue with your sales person about your quote, hubspot is great software but its very pricey. Especially with other softwares for a fraction of the price like sharpspring.
Hubspot Workflows
What do you like best about the product?
The workflows are very easy to set up, Hubspot walks you through the whole thing and if you need help, there is usually someone on live chat that can help you.
What do you dislike about the product?
I struggled with the if/then branches and with setting goals initially. Over the last few new workflows though I have begun to figure it out. It's really trial and error for the first few, what sort of data you want collected from each campaign, etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm able to reach a much wider audience much quicker with workflows. I've realised that while I'm focussing on contacts who have engaged with our emails and am busy following them up, Hubspot workflows will continue in the background and hopefully find for me new prospects to speak with.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're looking for a solid marketing tool to help with everything from website traffic to marketing campaigns, I would recommend Hubspot.
The heart of marketing and sales
What do you like best about the product?
HubSpot gives out company a beating heat - it makes sure that everyone is aligned, that all data is shown to marketing and sales, and that we are looking at the same data.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think that some things which are easy to fix can take so long. An example is the workflow - that you need to remake stuff, instead of copying. But finally, HubSpot is coming with a solution.
Also: A lot of times social media management does not look good in my opinion. Images get cropped and don't look good.
Also: A lot of times social media management does not look good in my opinion. Images get cropped and don't look good.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
To have one tool for marketing and sales instead of scattered over multiple tools. Also, reporting is a lot easier when everything is in one tool.
Great all-round marketing platform
What do you like best about the product?
The greatest positive about HubSpot is that it is an all-round platform that can support multiple marketing channels and activities. The available tools are easy to use and have an immediate impact. The support is also really well set up.
What do you dislike about the product?
In the beginning, it took quite some effort to set everything up. There was quite some information available via the support community and HubSpot provided great support, but it took time to have everything up and running. Other than that, no real dislikes!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Thanks to HubSpot, we are now able to integrate various platforms, such as our website, analytics, our social media platforms as well as our external CRM. This integration allows us to have a full picture of who our contacts are and how they are interacting with us online.
