Hubspot workflows
What do you like best about the product?
The logic and the setup is easy to learn and the analytics are amazing! We just initiated our first extensive workflow (multiple emails) and it has been really fun watching the response. I feel like we are cheating because it all happens automatically...lots of up front work, but then all of it magically happens!
What do you dislike about the product?
As far as the workflows go there is nothing I dislike!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automated lead engagement. Like I said before...it's magical!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are using another software for CRM make sure to document the analytic tools that you currently use and make sure you can get similar information in Hubspot. There are lots of tools available in Hubspot, but not are included in all of the packages. Make sure you understand how many additional packages you are going to need to get your required analytics to understand all costs.
HubSpot, the CRM for data & automation lovers
What do you like best about the product?
- the workflows (some features missing in my opinion, but overall very powerful)
- the API (it is very thorough, well documented, you can do pretty much anything with the HubSpot API)
- the webhook subscriptions (you can create an app that will subscribe to object events such as company/contact/deal created/updated/deleted and send them to the endpoint of your choice)

What do you dislike about the product?
- the nature of the Segment integration: it is object-based and not event-based, and the latter is the real strength of Segment because you can leverage real-time activity across all your tools. Also, as your CRM gets more and more developed, syncs to your data warehouse get slower (because it's rewriting all tables instead of sending identify, group and track calls).
- a couple of missing features in workflows: make calculations, compare values of different properties, append values to an existing list-like property.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
- we are handling our entire sales process in HubSpot, and automating it thanks to workflows and the many integrations HubSpot offers (Hull, Segment, Zapier)
- data enrichment: changing a property in HubSpot and sending that updated value to the rest of the stack enables us to have adjusted and up-to-date data if the formerly computed values need to be changed.

The Dream Tool for Marketers with High Hopes, Aspirations and Dreams for the Efforts of their Team
What do you like best about the product?
I love Hubspot because it allows me to customize and tailor the tool to exactly the needs of my teams and our efforts - but the UI remains intuitive and easy for my less-advanced users. The INBOUND Methodology is also central to the tool and its features so it's almost impossible not to see positive results in your efforts once you make the switch.. I Cannot Recommend Hubspot Enough!
What do you dislike about the product?
The Service Hub needs some love - it's a great tool and we use it for our customer service, technical support and internal help desks, but compared to the rest of the tools you can tell this is the newest tool... that said I've talked with our Customer Success Manager about the Service Hub's roadmap for 2020 and I'm really excited about where this tool is going!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Literally, you name it. Basically Everything!
Benefits -- well, we've basically transformed the way we do business thanks to this tool. Spending the time to get your hub set up and thinking through things from a high-level allows you to solve just about any problem you can think of with this tool. I know I sound crazy, but this tool is unbelievable and has been instrumental in giving us an edge over our competition!

If you're thinking about it... the answer should be yes. Embrace the onboarding and get ready to feel like a superhero - this tool will change the way you work for the better.
HubSpot IS the Only Marketing Tool You will EVER Need
What do you like best about the product?
Asking me to describe what I like best about HubSpot would be like asking me what I like best about a piece of good pizza. This software isn't that chain restaurant pizza. No, this is the NYC Italiano of pizza made in an original brick oven by a guy named Antonio D'Benedetto. He knows your name, and how you like the pizza well done, but not burnt with EXTRA Pepperoni and fresh pepperoncini peppers on the side.
This software is a complete game-changer for any business. I literally told my company if they even think about replacing/getting rid of this program I would jump ship and look for a marketing job at HubSpot (HS call me ;) ).
Just to give you some background on myself and my company...I work for a company called Singer Equities. I am the only marketing person on the team. Our parent company owns 15+ platform companies that all have their own logos, ideas, etc. They ALL have a website, social media account, literature requests, sales team, etc. And the same online goal...to be #1 on Google ( -_'-).
I spent 2-3 days out of my workweek creating reports through LinkedIn, Facebook, Google, just trying to read through it and come up with a content strategy. It was nearly impossible. And then add to that, that the leads from a website were just being lost in oblivion with no tangible ROI. Getting an ROI on marketing tactics is hard enough already, but add a missing data set and you are faced with an impossible task.
Those were the dark days. Ones where I questioned my career choice and life choices. Then came in HubSpot. And me begging my boss to PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE get this software.
We started out with the marketing Hub and it was like that moment in the Wizard of Oz where you go from a sepia tone film to vibrant color. Everything was there, connected, and OMG IS THAT A PROSPECTING TOOL?!?! I was so overwhelmed, but happily so because now I had ALL the tools I needed to NAIL the HELL out of marketing. AND I didn't need to break my neck trying to look in 15+ directions.
"Gabby you need to schedule 15+ LinkedIn Posts"
HubSpot's gotchu with its Social Media Automation (Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram)
"Gabby you need to send out this email promo to this platform, but not this platform"
HubSpot's gotchu with the ability to segment lists by brand, company, persona, muffin preference.
"Gabby you need to export a report on all the form submissions for the last quarter"
HubSpot's Gotchu with an exporting tool...you can do FULL submissions or just Export the Deal info.
I could list more examples, but I hope you get it.
I've gone to the HubSpot training and actively watch the online webinars and classes and share them with my colleagues that are diving headfirst into the sales tools (WHICH ARE AWESOME BTDUBS). If you are looking at this software and questioning if you can see any benefit from it, then you need to really look at yourself and your business and ask yourself this: "Do I know more than 2 MIT graduates that LITERALLY WROTE THE BOOK on Inbound Marketing?"
If you say "yes" to that then get to work making an alternative to HubSpot. Say hello to HatchBuck and Nextiva while you are there...meanwhile, the rest of us will continue to create relationships with our ever-growing customer base while the rest try and catch up ;).

What do you dislike about the product?
Every time I say I dislike something...ya'll just fix it anyway. Right now...I think my biggest complaints are that as a Super Admin, I would like more control over my user's accounts. These guys aren't tech-savvy...so I want to constrict their experience to the bare minimum. Not to say they won't grow and learn, but I would just prefer that I be able to set up their default views and notifications.
I would also like the ability to schedule webinars using my meeting link with more than one person at a time. Just like having a checkbox that if you include that this is a webinar meeting, that timeslot can have more than one person. I use uber conference though, so I wonder if that is what the problem is.
The calendar is awesome, but I'd really like to be able to see more of the things I schedule on their like meetings and apts. I think it would be great to have a view of what my sales-people are doing so I can reference the calendar and just send out a marketing email based on appointments.

Omg....I wouldn't even know where to begin. My overall review covers how much this software has helped me alone. I'd like to get more personal about what it's done for me as a marketer. Using HubSpot I feel like I can love what I do. I can get excited about my work and where marketing is going.
I've always wanted to be involved in technology. And using this software makes me feel like I am at the forefront of innovation.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Trust me. I know software salesmen are more aggressive than used car salesmen. Typically they will tell you whatever you want to hear when it comes to shilling out a product.
I am not being dramatic (though I love being so) when I say that this program can do everything it promises to do. And it might look a little pricy, but if you use it right, it will LITERALLY pay for itself.

HubSpot can do (almost) everything
What do you like best about the product?
Managing your marketing campaigns from email to social to landing pages - it can almost do it all. I also like the fact that it can not only hold contacts but it can also store information about them as well. We are able to segment these contacts into lists to better curate content for them.
Another thing that I absolutely love is their support team. On every page of their website, they have a purple help button. You have three options: email, chat or call. They are highly responsive and super helpful. I prefer doing the chat feature or email (which they have always gotten back to me within 24 hours). Also, if you are worried about the learning curve with using HubSpot, then I highly recommend their HubSpot Academy (which is free). HubSpot Academy provides training courses for beginners, intermediate and advanced users. Furthermore, you can get certified in the Marketing and Sales platforms.

What do you dislike about the product?
The reports feature. I want to use the most out of the analytics feature in HubSpot by creating customizable reports but the ability to do that is limiting. For instance, HubSpot creates amazing reports for our ads campaigns; however, I can't add some of these to my dashboard. I just want to create a dashboard that has specific details about my email campaign, social media, website and ads.
Another dislike is their chatbot. We want to use this tool to its maximum potential, such as setting up a workflow after they interacted with our chatbot. As of this moment, this is not possible.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have been connecting more with our prospects in hopes of nurturing them into clients. Because of our marketing efforts enabled with HubSpot and other tools, we have seen a dramatic increase in our clients (originally as MQLs) in the past year. Another benefit that we are realizing is social media management. Prior to HubSpot, we did not plan out our social media, but with HubSpot, we are able to schedule and post them on all our channels.
Easy to use, but still vide range of tools to use.
What do you like best about the product?
Vide range of tools to use for email marketing. Templates are easily modified, also different design tools are very easy to use. When you get a long with using workflows, you can really save a lot of working hours and of course have great customer interactions.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some times there are so many different options and not always user does know how different option are related.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automated email marketing, smart marketinglists, prospect interaction.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Be sure to be in contact with Hubspot support. They are really helpful.
Using HubSpot in International Education
What do you like best about the product?
Automation tools are great and have really saved up valuable time for our employees to work closely with students rather than having to share general information to a bunch of different students. Social tools are very easy to navigate. Landing page design is relatively easy, and sending emails within HubSpot is also easy to do. The form function has been invaluable in gathering information about potential leads. HubSpot staff are welcoming and willing to help. I attended a 3-day training for the marketing materials in November and was very satisfied with my experience. The trainer was highly knowledgeable, approachable, and made the class fun and interesting.
What do you dislike about the product?
Testing workflows is a hit and miss. Sometimes if a workflow is not working correctly, it's really hard to figure out why & it's caused issues with students falling through the cracks on our marketing efforts. The email design tools are very hard to use if you don't have any coding experience; I am still not sure how or if we're going to make new templates for 2020. Getting Salesmsg texts to work correctly in workflows has been almost impossible. I did a call with a HubSpot support staff member but the suggestions on how to fix the problem went over my head a bit. I think at the end of the day, HubSpot is a great tool but it does require someone with a little more tech experience to truly utilize all of the tools. Your average marketer (like me!) might be a bit ill equipped.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our integration with Salesforce has been a disaster. We are having to hire outside help to resolve these issues. Our integration with Salesmsg is also not working correctly. These integration issues have led to weeks, if not months, of additional work.
The benefits of automation are great! I also like that you can analyze different platforms within HubSpot and track where a contact came from. The contact/CMS side of HubSpot is by far the most invaluable.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
I'd recommend an outside team who specializes in integrations set up any you need. Doing it in-house has created lots of issues; it's not user-friendly enough for the average marketer or Salesforce Admin to set up.
Smooth, straightforward design and automation
What do you like best about the product?
The drag-and-drop design tool for creating marketing collateral really streamlines the creation process. I can easily come up with clean, crisp emails and landing pages without having to route each element through my creative team. For those looking to dig a little deeper into the design aspect, the Design Manager affords a lot of flexibility to adapt templates with pre-set or custom modules.
What do you dislike about the product?
It has more to do with individual email clients, but I wish there was a way to ensure custom coded fonts would transmit from the design to the client. We have developed clear brand guidelines for each client, and when we aren't able to (easily) follow our own guidelines for our clients in the communications we send out, it's at the very least unfortunate.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have converted a client's newsletter to a custom HubSpot email with landing pages so we can track and deliver metrics on open rate, click rate, and more, so we can help them optimize their content to ensure they are delivering what their stakeholders truly care about. Prior to this, they were sending their newsletter out on a monthly basis as a PDF, so they weren't able to track anything. Going forward, we can advise them on features based on actual data so they don't waste time creating content that their employees aren't interested in reading.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's a great investment, but it is an investment. Make sure you're willing to learn the tools so you can get the most value out of it.
Excellent Sales & Marketing Integration & Automations
What do you like best about the product?
I most heavily use email automation and organic social media / ads. The Sales Navigator integration is great for the sales team but also marketing, where a pixel can build a remarketing list for LinkedIn display ads as a way to nurture leads in addition to email automation. The analytics are great and keeps both sales and marketing constantly aligned with business objectives. Workflows are a great way to keep the CRM and follow-up organized.
What do you dislike about the product?
LinkedIn and Sales Navigator are heavy components of my team's digital strategy across sales and marketing. As mentioned, it has its strengths, but if there was an ability to export lead lists, that is a big gap for a lot of professionals I believe, as some competitors have this feature already. Also, some ad types I use aren't available for tracking with HubSpot by LinkedIn / google which includes videos and some other types.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sales & marketing integration for startup team, improved lead nurturing, stronger inbound and outbound strategies, new insights about audiences.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Research that most of the software you will be using for your strategies will be well-integrated with HubSpot.
Highly intuitive and powerful marketing automation platform.
What do you like best about the product?
The user interface is super easy to use & arranged very well. I've used Pardot, Marketo & Hubspot in the past and Hubspot is my preferred tech.
What do you dislike about the product?
Reporting is always a struggle with marketing automation platforms, but Hubspot understands full funnel reporting well & does tries to ensure that this is able to be captured & reported on.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automation, email marketing, easy to create landing pages.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I'd recommend it if youre an agile team whose looking to get onboard & start to execute quickly yet scalably.
