Hubspot lover
What do you like best about the product?
Workflows are great, constant product updates as well. Love sequences with all my heart.
What do you dislike about the product?
Ads tool is not very good. Also would be nice if there was something like google tag manager for hubspot, I never know what tags are already inside hubspot.
One thing I hate with all my heart, is that when I add an & to the website url from workflows hubspot substitutes is for & , which makes the url no work. So I had to build and external service that fix it, but there's a lot of delay and maintenance
I also hate a couple things on the API: The get all contacts example works but it's awful. Why can't I get more than 100 contacts per request?? It makes my code take way more time, especially when we had 50000 contacts.
Also, why in the world does the create/update contacts api return a 404 when only one of the emails is not perfectly formatted? It makes the whole system stop working because of an edge case.
Also the design manager is crazy complicated to build anything relevant. Would love if I could host my react landing page on the landing page.
Also, it is not clear to me how I can integrate our signup for with hubspot without losing all the tracking

Do it, it's by far the best system
Hubspot has helped out business scale without having to bring on additional resources
What do you like best about the product?
All of the automation tools that hubspot offers. It is basically like having another team of employees working for you when we use the workflow and sequence tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
Hubspot forms are not great. It would be nice to have an iphone widget that shows custom reports for management. Also, you cannot CC people on automated emails

Marketing emails, internal notifications based on triggers, automating most of our online communication

What do you like best about the product?
Integration with separate platforms such as Salesforce & LinkedIn ads manager is excellent for funneling leads through to a sales team. The lead scoring and automation make life very easy (once calibrated properly) overall when you put the time in you end up with the ability to have a 100% customized and partially automated marketing machine that does exactly what you need.
It gives a great single location to drive 90% of your marketing efforts through and I've yet to find a piece of activity that hasn't had HubSpot running through it at some point - either for tracking, distributing content or generating dynamic landing pages.

What do you dislike about the product?
There is a potential to over-automate some things and run away with your ideas a bit. Conflicts can happen with some of the things you build. So some research and training would be my recommendation. It can do a little bit too much and if you jump in without a plan you can end up creating a highly coupled system that becomes less and less agile the more you layer in.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lead scoring and categorization, insights into customer engagement through analytics and data cleanliness. Reducing the amount of extra and fringe tools in use and therefore consolidating our marketing spend into one main platform. One of the main problems being solved is agility - we can now quickly create pages and content without having to pull our main website apart or involve external agencies at a higher cost.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Map out your entire brand architecture from an IT and technology point of view and think about what can be replaced or benefit from Hubspot being plugged in. Consider an operational approach to some of the elements such as 'what automatic mails would I like to send, what data is useful, where do I want the tracking etc...' and make sure you don't have other technology lying dormant in the background.

Hubspot has a lot of useful and relevant features for our business.
It is user-friendly and the support team is very reactive and friendly.
Hubspot Academy is very insightful, allowing us to learn more about Hubspot and its features as well as marketing automation and inbound marketing in general.

We mostly use it for Marketing Email and Marketing Automation. It saves us a lot of time.

Do not hesitate to contact the support team for any question. They are quick to reply.
Hubspot's great for blogs and social media marketing
What do you like best about the product?
The Hubspot blog function is super easy to use to build the blog, format it correctly, and publish it in a single click. The social media management tool and scheduling is also very simple to use and is a great way to organize yourself well into the future. I also love social media data analysis, it's great to be able to compare and contrast all the different channels. We also use Hubspot to create and distribute emails and monthly newsletters which is simple and intuitive. We then use the software to track the analytics such as open rate, click-through rate etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's not much I dislike about Hubspot. It would be great if you could create and schedule Instagram albums / multiple images in a single post (like you can on the Instagram app). It would also be good to have more freedom in the email template builder. The drag and drop builder is great for this, but it could be taken even further. I've also occasionally struggled with Hubspot support, as they sometimes take quite a while to reply and help. Other than that I think Hubspot is intuitive and easy to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Hubspot to schedule, publish and analyze the results of our bi-weekly blogs. We also use Hubspot to organize our social media scheduling, publishing, and analytics. We use Hubspot for 4 channels, Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter, and it's great to be able to use one tool to schedule and analyze all these channels. We also use Hubspot to create our monthly newsletters. We have recently started using the new drag-and-drop template builder for this which works really well. We then analyze the success of our newsletters through open rate, click-through rate etc on Hubspot as well. Finally, we use Hubspot to build and send company emails. We also use Hubspot to build email workflows and to segment our contacts into relevant lists.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Hubspot is a great way to organize your inbound and outbound marketing efforts. If you're looking for software that will help you build, schedule and publish all forms of content marketing (social media, blog, emails, newsletters) then Hubsout is a great and very helpful tool.

I don't dislike anything about the platform. It is very easy to use for any potential new users, I found it helpful with available tips and video courses.

It is very helpful to be able to schedule posts and see scheduled posts in different formats - a list or a calendar.

HobSpot lets users delete already published posts or edit already scheduled posts which helps with delivering high value content at all times, making sure any mistakes or typos are avoided. What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automating contacts and social performance. The CMS also includes all channels we require, rather than using two separate CMS tools.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Update the content management system, for example, the character limit on twitter is bugged and sometimes will show that you have more characters than you actually do.
More UI/UX updates would make the use of HubSpot a lot easier than any other CRM softwares i have used in the past.

What do you like best about the product?
The user-friendliness of the platform is really great; it's very easy to navigate the site and if one gets stuck, the help available is great. I also really enjoy the integrations for email marketing, blogs and social media; it makes my job so much easier, saving me a lot of time.

What do you dislike about the product?
For social media posting, the Instagram integration could do with some improvement. The requirements for posting videos could be slightly more flexible and the ability to post GIFs would be great. It would also be helpful if the social media reports could also include posts done outside of the Hubspot platform, as there are instances where posting is done outside of the platform, i.e at events, due to video requirements of the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I run the social media accounts and if I were to post manually, it would take up so much of my time; Hubspot definitely saves me time. I am also able to track performance of social media campaigns, making my monthly reporting seamless.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's definitely one of the better, possibly even the best marketing automation tool I've used, I would definitely recommend it! Our team is able to manage so many of our marketing tasks through Hubspot - from landing pages and blogs, to email campaigns and social media marketing.

What do you like best about the product?
The possibility to see people's journey on our website before they even become a contact.
What do you dislike about the product?
No twitter ads reporting (with paid ads being attributed to organic social), no correct linkedin video ad reporting, no possibility for manual corrections so that we put them correctly ourselves, only estimated ROI and not actual ROI in the dashboard and not possible to include more than 3 accounts at a time in ads dashboard.

Tracking contacts to specific campaigns. Increasing conversations within the organization to get better results by creating 'cleaner' and transparent ways of acquiring and nurturing leads.
