A great all-in-one platform
What do you like best about the product?
HubSpot is convenient because everything is in one place - email, social media, blogging, landing pages, forms and even web pages. From a marketing perspective, it makes it easy to integrate strategies. Because HubSpot is so big on inbound marketing, it's also easy to use for any inbound marketing campaign. We are an agency that uses HubSpot for our clients. It's definitely made us more attractive to potential clients and helped us get more business. Because of the CRM, it also makes it easy to track everything. Our clients really like the level of the detail they can see within HubSpot. For analytics, it makes it a lot easier to attribute sales and conversions to specific marketing materials.
What do you dislike about the product?
The software isn't always the easiest to use. It's so dense that it's hard to find what you need. There are also multiple ways to do the same action, so it gets confusing easily. While it's easy to use once everything is implemented, implementation takes a great deal of time. It also takes a while to become familiar with the tool, particularly the workflows and sequences sections. HubSpot certifications also need work - they're useful to have, but unnecessarily long and time-consuming to take. The landing pages/website builder also isn't the easiest to use - you definitely need a developer to make it look good.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It saves time over having to log into multiple tools. Their knowledge base and blog are also good resources for information. It helps answer the classic question marketing gets all the time - "where is my money going?" You can track exactly how new leads come into the system and where from. From a business perspective, .
All In One Marketing Capabilities w/ Hub spot
What do you like best about the product?
It has social and email marketing & analytics all in one program, and even on the lowest payment tier, there are many solid capabilities that I use more than other analytics tools. I can also send re-targeting emails, etc. I also will say that if you are working on your own, or with a large company the options are great. It's a solid way to see everything you need in one spot, but also really easy to communicate data in a non-confusing way to co-workers or clients.
On price, if you have a small company or email list, they tailor it to you based on subscribers (like most other email platforms). So if you are a small business with an extensive list, this might not be for you - but definitely would recommend for a growing business with under 5k email subscribers.

What do you dislike about the product?
It's a hefty price. Its one thing if you're a business that sells a tangible product, but for service-based industries and entertainment, its harder to justify the cost. The best way I can use it is for announces, releases, and merch. If you have an artist that does all of those things regularly, its worth it. If not, I would recommend using a more basic marketing tool (or even just the insights that the social and email platforms give for free). Also, I like all the options it gives, but don't love the way its all laid out. Now, I have actually switched to a custom-made marketing analytics tracker so that I can make it exactly how I want.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My most favorite problems I've solved are using the data we receive to quickly send off a re-targeting email, or help me decide what to post based on the data. Let's say everyone is clicking on shirt A, but I posted about shirts A,B,C... now, I can easily see this data and immediately turn it around and use shirt A as the main photo for emails to our database, and they will be more likely to buy! Then, we can take people that clicked to purchase and send them more emails about new items that are similar, etc. All because of the tracking that Hub Spot does! I also would like to quickly shoutout their customer service. It is EXTREMELY rare to have as great of service and swift response times for this type of digital service, but they are on it! I really appreciate it, because marketing moves so quick.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's worth a try, definitely not a waste of your time.
Great for inbound marketing
What do you like best about the product?
Offers SEO recommendations based on your targeting/product/service and location
Customer insights are good to help in retargeting for sales for the future
Customer insights are good to help in retargeting for sales for the future
What do you dislike about the product?
Could offer more support when initially using. Takes a bit of time to get used to. A daunting user interface which could be made more simple
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
CRM and SEO solutions. Particularly the SEO recommendations would be my favourite
Would recommend as a full marketing solution.
What do you like best about the product?
The interface is intuitive and easy to learn. Hubspot is to Apple as Salesforce would be android. This makes it easy to use, and the design looks great. With HubSpot, you can create and optimize your content, nurture leads, monitor contacts as they become customers and see how your marketing progresses. HubSpot takes customer training very, very seriously. HubSpot also teaches philosophy, marketing, and business principles as a key part of success. The dashboard is really, really gorgeous. So is the mobile app. Well designed, beautiful interfaces are important to me.
What do you dislike about the product?
The email platform's drag and drop could use more customization. I'm not sure that having an all-in-one tool will be that much more effective. In our industry, content marketing, the internet is pretty crowded with plenty of other companies trying similar strategies. My thought here is that if HubSpot works for us, it should work for any B2B business.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Would like to connect to Tableau for reporting, but the integration costs more.
HubSpot review
What do you like best about the product?
Great tool to track contacts and life cycle
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't much I dislike. The platform is super clean and user friendly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's easy to track customers and send email campaigns. Great for capturing emails from website.
I feel like my parents bought me Mega-Bloks (not awesome) and not Legos (awesome)...
What do you like best about the product?
It was easy to navigate and customer support was responsive.
What do you dislike about the product?
This tool to me is not an enterprise grade solution, it feels like it was made for small mom and pop shops. The integrations with other tools, mainly Salesforce, are weak at best. In a way it feels intentional, as a means of pushing the agenda of using their CRM solutions (which I was pitched on). The reporting might as well be non-existent. It is not even close to parity with a CRM like Salesforce, so without a system to push your data out to for analysis you won't find much here.
While it is easy to navigate the tool, administering the tool is a nightmare. Especially if you are inheriting it from a team that may not have kept it as clean as best practice would dictate. Things live in places you would never think to look or don't make sense. They asked us for additional money so that we could spend more money on ads, boy did that feel like a shake down. It seems like at every turn there is a new fee or service begging you to sign up if you want to continue. It's like a bad cable contract, you feel like you got your money's worth those first 12 months then all of a sudden in year two the price somehow doubles to maintain the service.
At the end of the day, I think if you're a small team, who needs a easy to use, all-in-one solutions its a good buy. If you want to add any complexity to your business it falls flat. Like all things that claim to be "All-in-One," being good at a lot is at the sacrafice of being great in key areas

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Not really solving to many problems for us.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Consider where your team will be in 12 months. If the plan is to grow and add complexity quick, do not buy this. If you plan to be small and scrappy for a bit, it's the most ang for your buck.
User friendly, great support team
What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about Hubspot is their support team. If you have any questions they are there ready to help in an instant. You can also choose which level of access team members get which means you don't have to worry about people messing up what you had set as an admin.
What do you dislike about the product?
I did not find any downsides to using Hubspot marketing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving generating blog posts to our websites, sending out marketing emails, managing marketing lists. It has been so easy to generate marking lists and manage them with Hubspot.
Best I’ve Experienced
What do you like best about the product?
The customized reports makes it easy to track social, email, web and ROI in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
If you don’t have Salesforce as a CRM, don’t bother. The software is not easily adaptable and took us months to configure.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sales went up. The multiple automation and customized emails we were able to send took us to the next level.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are using Salesforce, do it. It’s worth the cost.
Comprehensive suite of all-in-one analytics...covers most basic needs
What do you like best about the product?
For a small to medium sized business, Hubspot offers a nice suite of marketing analytics cools that allow you to analyze your email performance, campaign performance, social metrics, PR mentions, etc. It's a nice package that gives you insight into most aspects of your marketing efforts.
What do you dislike about the product?
Hubspot's metrics are fairly rigid and not too customizable. If you're looking to be able to slice and dice your data in dozens of ways, you'll need a more advanced platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For me, Hubspot is convenient from a budget standpoint, as I can oversee several efforts within one platform. It allows me to aggregate all users within my company and share metrics, reporting, and scheduled dashboards with them.
Clunky but affordable
What do you like best about the product?
The customer support is top-notch. Live chat is available within seconds most of the day and generally provides a solution to whatever question or issue I may have.
What do you dislike about the product?
Integrations with third-party apps are severely lacking, and there are major limitations within the platform as far as reporting and sales automation, e.g. moving through pipelines. There are times when you try to pull a report on a dataset and it will tell you that you CANT actually pull a specific field in reports. That seems like low hanging fruit to me. Also, there's no great way for a sales team to visualize a call cadence or separate calls made vs. emails sent. "Last contacted" contains both by default and you cannot change that setting.
