Great communication, easy to use, great that we have a dedicate consultant to take us through the audit process and gave us the support we needed to complete the audit successfully

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the ease of management and the ability to gain control over compliance. The platform offers many integrations, which make collecting evidence straightforward. Onboarding was quick, and the system is user-friendly. Scytale also has highly competent personnel who were important in helping us achieve our goals.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have nothing to point my finger at. Nothing to dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scytale assisted us in achieving ISO27001 certification. Now, we have complete control over our risks and vendor policies, all within a single, easy-to-use management system.

What I like best about Scytale is its user-friendly interface and automation capabilities. It simplifies compliance workflows by centralizing evidence collection and control tracking, which saves a lot of time compared to manual processes. One area that could be improved is the speed of certain processes when handling large volumes of evidence. Occasionally, the platform feels a bit slow during bulk uploads or when switching between multiple frameworks. Enhancing performance in these scenarios would make the experience even smoother

By centralizing evidence collection and monitoring, it reduces the risk of errors and saves our team countless hours. Outstanding Platform and Exceptional Customer Success
What do you like best about the product?
There are two aspects of Scytale that worked well for us: the platform and our customer success manager, Ashleigh Du Preez. It was easy to use, which is especially important since my team and I were in the system on an almost daily basis during our initial audit period.
What do you dislike about the product?
The need for multiple screenshots, although this is not unique to Scytale but rather is a characteristic of many GRC platforms.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scytale is a GRC vendor that promises to cut stress and time as it relates to securing security compliance and certifications such as SOC 2 Type 2 and HIPAA. The ability to complete these certifications in a timely manner is important for my company's business, i.e., to land new customers and retain existing ones.

I also appreciate the personal human-to-human service that Scytale provides, making the whole experience feel more personalized and supportive. Plus, their service is exceptional, which made the initial setup easy enough.

I would expect Scytale to be more proactive in identifying gaps and recommending actions to close these gaps.

Our consultant, Ashna took a hands-on approach throughout the preparation phase leading up to the audit to help us become ISO 27001 certified.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have no complaints to mention regarding my experience with the product while using it for ISO 27001.

This tool streamlines the process of gathering the necessary evidence for ISO 27001 compliance and assists in putting the right policies and procedures in place to successfully pass an audit.
Great Support from Staff, But Platform Lags Behind Competitors
What do you like best about the product?
Our representative conducting the audit, Stephan Smit, has done a great job in helping us to prepare for ISO 27001 certification.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Scytales platform itself is significantly behind competitors such as Vanta and Drata, with respect to its features, functionality, reliability etc. It has been frustrating to use, lacks the depth and complexity of automated testing that other platforms include, and lacks the number of integrations supported by its competitors.
