Not many downsides. They gave us good service. Some of the app features and data sync with my existing systems could be more streamlined

Streamlined ISO/IEC 27001—great platform and consulting team
What do you like best about the product?
Scytale made ISO/IEC 27001 straightforward for us. The platform is simple to use for managing controls and collecting evidence, and the integrations with our IT landscape auto-populate much of the evidence—our auditor was genuinely impressed. We also received excellent, responsible support from security consultants Laura Quan and Romy Spencer, who guided us on the platform and helped optimize our ISMS setup. Professional and friendly collaboration throughout. Highly recommended.
What do you dislike about the product?
As a relatively new product, some features are still maturing and integration configuration is limited. It would be great to have a work-management module—or a native ClickUp integration—to plan recurring and one-off tasks, assign owners, set due dates, and track Security Objectives.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We implemented our ISMS digitally—integrations across our IT landscape auto-populate most of the required evidence
Effortless Compliance Management with Stellar Support
What do you like best about the product?
I love how Scytale streamlines my GRC needs, effortlessly converting policies and integrating with my systems to ensure compliance. The integration capabilities are stellar, allowing me to collect evidence without manual screenshots, and the policy management is superb. The dashboard is incredibly informative and useful, enhancing my overall experience. Furthermore, the setup process was smooth and the support I received from the consultant was exceptional. Scytale's understanding of my needs and its contribution to my business continuity makes me confident in sticking with them. Finally, the team I worked with was very nice especially Nicole Alvero which was a great assistance for the entire process, which added to the positive experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think I would add more integrations but it depends on, actually, probably their customer for each organization. They have their own, different software they work with.

Scytale helps me solve my GRC needs by ensuring compliance, converting policies, integrating with systems, and flagging important issues. It also facilitates evidence collection and effective policy management, significantly enhancing my user experience.

Our consultant Nicole, she make this thing easy and manageable for us, she help us be organized and suggest a lot of ideas to make things easier for us :)

What do you like best about the product?
Working with Scytale made our ISO 27001 certification process straightforward and well-structured. What could have been complex and resource-intensive became clear, efficient, and manageable. Our ISO consultant, Abigail Salzwedel, guided us step by step, combining strong expertise with practical support. Her involvement saved us significant time and gave us confidence that our controls were properly in place and audit-ready. I highly recommend Scytale to any company looking for a reliable partner in achieving certification.

In the beginning, the platform felt a bit overwhelming. The guidance from our ISO consultant, Abigail Salzwedel, was very welcome, as otherwise it would have taken us much more time to get things going.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scytale solved the challenge of navigating the ISO 27001 process without dedicating excessive internal resources. Their platform brought structure, visibility, and documentation readiness, while their team provided expert guidance to keep us on track. This combination allowed us to focus on running our business while progressing efficiently toward certification, saving us significant time and effort.

They were always there for my questions. We had meetings every week to check the progress and those meetings weren't like a typical daily standup. We actually removed the impediments there
What do you dislike about the product?
Downside was the change of consultant in the middle of the process. The consultant was switching jobs, so I don't know how much could have they done here.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Main issue to solve was to help us get ISO 27001 certification.
The platform that Scytale provides is definitely a great bonus. Having everything in one place regarding the certification will help us during the following years, when we will have to go through assessments.

Scytale as an application and as GRC service really helped us through the audits
What do you like best about the product?
You feel that they are committed to getting you certified and that they will help you reach that goal. Follow up/check in meetings were planned, progress was followed and audits were done. The integrations are good, easy to use and well documented.
What do you dislike about the product?
The dislikes are small, follow up on a requested planned integration was not met is one that comes to mind.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Stepping away from an Excel sheet with all the requirements and just being able to click around in a tool and seeing the connected evidence is a relief. It made the audit interviews so much easier and quicker. You have a question on Annex x.xx, boom here you go. In this policy and here is the collected evidence. And on to the next one.

What do you like best about the product?
Scytale was very helpful during the SOC2 process. We had a shared slack channel and got fast responses for every question we had.

SOC2 is a long process that took us more time than expected to finish

Super professional, responsive and patient
What do you like best about the product?
Working with Edden @ Scytale on our ISO compliance was a breeze. This was my first time going through compliance process and Edden was there every time I stumbled and felt inadequate. I am not sure how can this process be done without them.
What do you dislike about the product?
Their UI still has quirks here and there but most of the issues we encountered were addressed immediately.

Going through the hoops of compliance is not an easy fit for a first timer. Scytale and their staff eased my transition into the role and helped me a lot to understand the ins and the outs of the process.
