Effortless Compliance for ISO 27001 with Scytale
What do you like best about the product?
I like that Scytale is continuously evolving into a more useful platform, allowing us to use it throughout the year rather than just for annual surveillance audits. It's great for reviewing and ensuring everything is in order and compliant. I also appreciate their professional services, where our dedicated consultant assists at every step, helping us use the platform optimally to reach our goals. The platform makes it possible for colleagues to collaborate, each within their area of expertise and responsibility but still ensuring a big-pic overview for management.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be great if they communicate more clearly when they release new features. To let us know and also explain how that's changes the big picture experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Scytale for our ISO 27001 certification, prepare for audits, and ensure compliance throughout the year. Its integrations automate compliance evidence gathering, saving time.

What do you like best about the product?
The platform is incredibly well-organized and easy to use! Scytale took what is normally a heavy process and simplified it by removing all the unnecessary overhead for us. I also have to give a huge shoutout to Romy Spencer, who was absolutely fantastic. She was always ready to jump in and help whenever needed, simplifying our workload massively. Having that level of dedicated support made all the difference
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have any real dislikes to report. The software does exactly what it promises to do, the UI is clean, and the customer support is top-notch. My experience has been positive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Scytale solves the problem of manual compliance tracking and evidence collection. By organizing everything in one place and removing the typical administrative overhead, it benefited us by saving a ton of time and making a normally stressful process feel completely manageable.
Great service and platform for becoming ISO certified
What do you like best about the product?
We had a positive experience working with Scytale to achieve our ISO certification. Their team (and especially our contact person CJ) provided clear guidance and support, making the certification process much smoother for us. The platform itself is intuitive, provides a clear overview of policies, controls, user reviews, risks and training. Basically, making it easy for us to stay organized and follow best practices going forward. I would recommend using Scytale if you are looking to get certified.
What do you dislike about the product?
Platform is evolving so we were facing some issues along the way (which were resolved swiftly though). One thing to note is that the effort required from our side was greater than anticipated, especially around implementing certain internal processes. With more upfront clarity on this, we could have prepared better. For future users, I’d recommend asking early about potential gaps between your current setup and the scalable processes required for certification. But overall, the combination of their expertise and platform made a big difference in getting us across the finish line.

Effortless Compliance with Smooth Integration
What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate how Scytale helps us with compliance, especially in achieving ISO27001. Having their team on board, who know what they're doing, helped us reach our goals much faster. The platform is smooth and automatically collects our evidence, clearly shows us where our gaps are, and explains what we need to do to fix them. I also love the simple interface—no need to manually check all controls, as it shows exactly what evidence is needed for each one. The integrations with GitHub, Jira, Azure Services, and Google Workspace are a huge plus, allowing for automatic evidence collection with no extra effort from us. Additionally, the initial setup was extremely easy: log in through the email, and it just works. I could invite the rest of my team right away, assign tasks, and start working immediately. I’m beyond pleased, so much so that I would rate it a 20 out of 10 if I could.
What do you dislike about the product?
There was one control that had the incorrect remediation instructions, but this is a minor inconvenience and I'm sure will be quickly corrected.

Scytale streamlines our ISO27001 compliance by providing a simple interface to gather evidence automatically, identify gaps, and integrate with services like GitHub and Azure. This expertise helped us achieve faster results and reduced manual work.

I really liked the support offered by the Scytale team, they were always ready, willing and able to answer any questions we had

What do you like best about the product?
I like Scytale for its excellent customer service, which offers fast response time and helpful responses. I appreciate the modern UI and the wide range of integrations it supports. The initial setup was easy, which was a big plus for us.

What do you like best about the product?
The support team has been helping us throughout the SOC 2 process.

I’ve noticed a few small bugs here and there in the UI from time to time.

Getting SOC2 Compliance as fast as possible.
Clear, Attractive Interface That’s Easy to Understand
What do you like best about the product?
The platform is easy to understand and the interface is clear and attractive.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the policies need revision. Most are wonderfully simple but a few are confusing and contradictory.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Especially for first time compliance certifications, the process is almost too difficult to do alone. The checklists required and the cost of employee time plus internal auditors etc. are onerous. Scytale solves that problem.

Ease of use and the integrations are what you need, the team is also extra great, especially the GRC Consultant (Romy) that helped us

Good experience, easy and ISO 27001 Stress-free
What do you like best about the product?
It’s very easy to communicate with the Scytale team and get guidance whenever needed. They handle most of the complex work behind the scenes, making implementation much simpler for us. The controls are well-structured, and it’s clear what type of evidence is required for each, which makes compliance much easier to manage.
What do you dislike about the product?
Improve the integrations from third-parties with GRC plataform to allow more automatic sync without required to manually update the evidences.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our main goal is to achieve ISO 27001 certification and ensure that our policies are up-to-date and well-structured. Scytale helps us achieve ISO 27001 certification by centralizing our policies, controls, and risk management in one platform. The controls are clear and easy to follow, and the team handles the heavy lifting, making the compliance process much smoother and less stressful for us.
