Centralized password vault has transformed access control and dramatically improved security
What is our primary use case?
LastPass Business is a great tool overall; currently, mostly our IT department at my company uses it as we always had issues determining where to store secure passwords. Eventually, it is something we may even offer to end-users so they stop writing passwords on sticky notes. This is the main issue that LastPass Business addresses.
We have also enabled stronger multi-factor access to those passwords that we have and created a central place to manage all of the passwords for our corporate technology team. I also love LastPass Business because it addresses weak and repetitively used passwords, enabling us to update them frequently.
What is most valuable?
LastPass Business is a seamless password management tool. Now we use it across the company and it helps streamline the storage and retrieval of the myriad of passwords that we all encounter on the web these days, making it easy to share across accounts and help individuals get access to the passwords they need to do their jobs quickly and easily.
It is a better alternative than having to remember passwords or write them down on Post-it notes, especially as most of our staff has transitioned to remote work. It solves most of our information technology and cybersecurity issues.
LastPass Business does a good job of organizing passwords and making it easy to share some and not others. I have a personal and a company LastPass Business account, and it is seamless to shift between them. The website autofill integration is great and makes logging into sites a breeze.
Autofill helps us log in seamlessly to various apps where we do not have to remember the password; it automatically autofills the password and we are able to log in, saving a lot of time.
LastPass Business has a good structure to manage different departments' passwords and suggests strong passwords when setting up new accounts. It allows users to not have to remember the password since it is saved securely. It has a Vault that saves and stores organization-wide credentials. I love that because it is very secure and saves time from having to ask a coworker for their logging information. We are able to share that information and remotely collaborate easily.
It has increased our security by 40 to 55 percent because LastPass Business has a Vault that saves and stores organization-wide credentials where it is very secure and easy to access. It saves time from having to ask a coworker for their logging information, takes the stress out of worrying about internet security and related threats, and helps make the onboarding and offboarding process easier for the HR and OPS teams with little concern for employees changing logins and little to no worry about data breaches and other security issues.
Since we deployed it, we do not have to waste time logging into multiple apps in my organization. It makes it very easy for new hires to be able to log in to multiple apps within LastPass Business, saving a lot of time.
LastPass Business is deployed in my organization as a Hybrid Cloud.
What needs improvement?
LastPass Business does not allow people to copy and save passwords from shared folders into a personal vault. There should be a feature that allows more users to be admins with access to the console.
LastPass Business should only save work-related passwords when logged into G Suite.
I have a concern because too many people use LastPass Business for personal password protection.
For how long have I used the solution?
I have used LastPass Business for the past eight years, even in my previous organization.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
LastPass Business is relatively very stable. I have not experienced any downtime or lagging.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
LastPass Business is very scalable. It can accommodate both personal and business password management and can be used by any size of organization, whether small, medium, or large.

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
I previously used Okta Identity Cloud.
LastPass Business is very user-friendly and secure, very easy to use, cost-effective, and the support has always been top-notch. The Okta Identity Cloud has very complex security features that take time to learn about. Its user interface was not intuitive, and the support time takes a lot of days, like two to three days to respond to a certain query. Those were the reasons we switched from Okta Identity Cloud to LastPass Business.
Which other solutions did I evaluate?
Before choosing LastPass Business, I evaluated OneLogin and Icecream Password Manager.
What other advice do I have?
According to my experience, the price for LastPass Business is affordable and cost-effective. The licensing is very pocket-friendly, making it an affordable tool even for smaller organizations.
Users complain less, especially due to increased security and no cyber threats. The central password makes it easy to manage all passwords. There are fewer calls for password resets, especially for the IT department, saving a lot of time and costs and minimizing disruption. This enables the IT department to focus on more strategic tasks.
LastPass Business is very user-friendly and secure, very easy to use, cost-effective, and the support has always been top-notch.
My user experience with LastPass Business has been great, earning a 9 out of 10 rating.
It has really been a game changer, especially due to simplifying and streamlining the process of logging into different apps, where we use one password to open all the business applications, saving a lot of time. We have little concern for employees changing their logins because it is secure. We have little to no worry about data breaches and other security issues because our security has dramatically increased due to LastPass Business's robust security features.
I purchased LastPass Business through the AWS Marketplace.
LastPass Business is a very comprehensive and easy-to-use password management solution that any business should adopt, especially if they want to secure their accounts and improve their security on their business applications and accounts.

What is our primary use case?
My main use case for LastPass Business is that I log into countless applications and gateways. LastPass Business makes it so much easier to manage what I log into and those that need to be shared with my team members. I was managing the passwords with my browser prior to LastPass Business. After a breach happened, we needed a solution. While it did take some time to get used to, the ability to share logins and manage users was completely worth the learning curve. I could not work without it. At this time, I love it.
A specific example where LastPass Business made my life easier is that we have been able to share our logins and collaborate on different projects, meeting our timelines and budget. We have been able to deliver a lot of projects to our clients. LastPass Business has enabled us to share our passwords securely. We are able to work remotely and have enhanced remote collaboration. The security of our data has immensely increased. Since we had a data breach, we decided to go for LastPass Business, and it has increased our security by a huge margin.

I do not have additional improvements needed for LastPass Business beyond what I have mentioned.

Fixes my password mess and login hassle at work
What do you like best about the product?
In my daily work, I handle nutrition consultations, manage clinic operations, and also work on health education content. I started using LastPass recently, and it helps me keep my work logins in one secure place, so I don’t waste time trying different passwords when work gets busy. Setting it up was simple and I could start using it the same day. I use it regularly now, and it saves time when I move between different tools and pages. I like that I don’t have to think about passwords anymore and can just get on with my work. It works smoothly with my browser and fits into my daily routine without any extra steps.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not much that bothers me in daily use. One small thing I notice is that sometimes the extension does not fill the login on the first click and I have to click it again. Also, when I open many tabs at once, the vault can feel a little slow for a moment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When I move between different work tools during the day, logging in again and again slows things down. LastPass keeps my logins ready, so I can open what I need and continue my work without breaking my flow. On busy days, this saves a few minutes many times, which adds up by the end of the day. I also don’t have to think about where I saved a password or whether it is correct. It keeps things simple and reduces small daily stress. I feel more organised because I know everything is stored in one place and I don’t need to search through notes or messages.
Trustworthy Password Manager
What do you like best about the product?
I trust LastPass a lot and find it essential for managing my passwords. I add every password to it and currently have over 700 stored. The dashboards, navigation and sharing are reasonably intuitive. The price is reasonable.
What do you dislike about the product?
My biggest complaint is that I can't get the logout timing to hold. It clears the fields of whatever I set. I think it's an issue with Chrome. It was also somewhat hard to login overseas, but I think that was for security reasons.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It offers an easy-to-manage solution for saving and sharing passwords to a large number of my business and professional account for an affordable price. It's easy to set permissions as to which employees can see what without having to be an IT Administrator.
Effortless Password Management, Seamless Access
What do you like best about the product?
I really like LastPass for the convenience it offers. Specifically, I love being able to launch a website directly from the app and access all logins for a website when I'm on the login page. It's great to just navigate to the item from the search bar, click 'Launch,' and be taken to the website where I'm logged in automatically. In our company, it's super convenient because each person has their own login, and we can easily see all logins for a specific website. I also appreciate the 'Help' feature, which has resolved my problems whenever I've used it.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't have any complaints about LastPass

I use LastPass to manage company and personal passwords. It streamlines sharing work-related passwords, provides convenience by launching websites directly from the app, and facilitates accessing multiple logins for websites. Additionally, the Help feature resolves issues efficiently.
Secure password sharing has strengthened team collaboration and streamlined daily logins

My main use case for LastPass Business is the need to share passwords with different members of my team in a secure way. LastPass helps me to do that effectively. It is also great to be able to generate new passwords quickly that are secure and that can be saved in an encrypted database.
I utilize a multitude of websites for images, programs, designing, social media, and much more. There is no way that I want to use the same passwords for each of the hundreds of websites I use each day, and that is where LastPass Business has been a game changer. It is perfect for storing logins, payment information, and for two-factor authentication. I also love the Chrome extension; it makes it extremely easy to log into the accounts with just a couple of clicks of the mouse. The same goes for the app as well. What needs improvement?
I believe some of the integration of the product is less than fully successful; it is less an issue with the software and more of an operating system issue. LastPass Business does not always play nicely with some programs or sites, and this could be addressed in a more robust manner.

Which solution did I use previously and why did I switch?
I previously used Bitwarden. Bitwarden has not always pulled up my login information when I open an app to log into, so I have to waste some time opening Bitwarden's app in order to search for the specific login I need. That is the reason why I switched from Bitwarden to LastPass Business because LastPass Business is very fast. Secure Collaboration Made Effortless
What do you like best about the product?
I really like how LastPass allows us to easily add team members on the fly and store passwords in group folders. This makes it simple to allocate resources and perform quick audits on who has access to which resource. I also found the initial setup very easy, since we were able to bulk upload passwords once our accounts were created.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that there's no option to be a super admin of the account but still hide certain passwords from prefill. I want to be able to access these if needed but don't want them to automatically prefill in password fields.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
LastPass allows our team to share passwords securely, ensuring security and privacy for login credentials. It saves time with features like adding team members and group folders that make resource allocation easy and enable quick access audits.
Centralized password management has strengthened access control and improved user security
What is our primary use case?
My main use case for LastPass Business is that it is being used across the whole organization, helping us by unifying and centralizing password management for all our users. With users having more and more complex passwords, LastPass Business is a simple way to organize and manage passwords in my organization.
A quick specific example of how I use LastPass Business day-to-day is the ability to combine personal and business websites' passwords into one central location, which is very nice and simple to use on mobile, especially with Face ID enabled.
How has it helped my organization?
The best features LastPass Business offers include being able to access all the sites and user accounts with just a smart, unique username and password, which is controlled by LastPass Business's smart technology. The superb single sign-on feature and the large list of pre-integrated apps have helped my workflow and my team's daily operations by enabling strong multi-factor access to those passwords and creating a central place to manage all of the passwords for our corporate technology team, addressing weak and repetitively used passwords.
LastPass Business has positively impacted my organization by making it more secure for critical applications and providing better visibility into weak passwords in use by department users, although the admin portal needs some work.
What is most valuable?
In addition to training and security standards in the organization to protect the privacy of personnel, LastPass Business helps our employees by keeping their passwords in a secure environment and intelligently announces change reminders when needed, allowing passwords with secure protocols. I appreciate it because it is very easy to access, it saves time, and full control over managing access usernames and passwords is now much easier, with everything stored on the cloud platform as encrypted.
Also, the centralized management of users is good, with complex multi-factor support, great customer support, and hardened passwords.
The IT manager uses LastPass Business to manage access levels by having access to all the accounts and being able to access all the devices, which means more security in the organization.
I appreciate the MFA feature, and I think it is the most intelligent and secure feature, which might be great for any business wanting to improve security in their organization.
What needs improvement?
LastPass Business can be improved by making the user log section much clearer and having more accurate options.
An improvement needed is to add an option in the settings that automatically changes whenever a password is changed and does not ask the user each time if they want to update the changed password in the system.
A needed improvement for LastPass Business is that the user interface should be cleaner and more intuitive.
For how long have I used the solution?
