A Smart Platform to Build, Integrate, and Innovate
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about SAP BTP is its flexibility to create extensions for S/4HANA in production planning and quality management without touching the core system. For example, I’ve used it to build custom Fiori apps that streamline quality notifications and automate shop floor reporting. It saves development time, improves user experience, and ensures smoother manufacturing workflows
What do you dislike about the product?
Some services have a learning curve, but they offer great value once implemented in manufacturing and quality processes.
Setup can be complex at first, but it enables strong, scalable solutions.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
SAP BTP helps connect systems, build custom apps, and automate tasks without changing the core SAP. It makes my work easier by saving time and improving production and quality processes.

What do you like best about the product?
BTP IS(Integration Service) supports lot of existing connectors, the only we main use are PGP encryption l, sftp connector, smb connector.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is still evolving, there are lot of moving parts.

File adapter is not supposed yetns

The SAP ecosystem has very high costs.

BTP is front end for S4 HANA, BW4 HANA and replacement for SAP Enterprise portal

We are not getting some feature like Knowledge management from SAP Enterprise portal

It is one tool for our all frontend tools

What do you like best about the product?
The best I like is we can build the apps side by side , automate various business process and integrate seamlessly with SAP and non SAP applications without disturbing the core system, which makes core system not only making clean core but also to make the upgrades easy!
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, I don't have any dislikes as the BTP tool is much matured now and evolving fast! I hope SAP will continue to push the innovations on the BTP in the same pace like today or even more!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves our workflow automation and we are using launchpad service to interact with our external vendors which makes our procurement, vendor, AP teams to act much faster on the vendor POs & Invoices!

finding the right documentation can take a while sometimes

It enables companies to jumpstart their application landscape for both integration, development as well services.

Transparency in costs is still a challenge. Predictability is a requirement that many customers have.

Integrating the entire landscape and building extension on top of cloud solutions by keeping the core clean.

What do you like best about the product?
BTP is the plataforma that will help is intégrate between our ERP and additional systems. It has predefined integrations making it the easiest and most standard way to work.
