What do you dislike about the product?
1. Compatibility issue at the time of different versions of firewall and FAZ
2. Issue while creating VDOM -shows all interfaces

FortiManager
What do you like best about the product?
The most popular feature is centralized configuration monitoring for firewall policies while configuring a FortiGate device without Fortimanager takes hours. With remote deployment with Fortimanager, you can set up a FortiGate and configure it within 30 minutes on average.
What do you dislike about the product?
Fortimanager does not allow to do every feature configured through Fortigate GUIsixxx with the same ease. For example, when the current Line type (DSL, VDSL) changes, it may not get its values when you configure it via fortimanager.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can configure our FortiGate devices remotely, we can make bulk configurations. We can use the time more efficiently by making upgrades via Fortimanager without connecting to devices for software upgrades.

What do you like best about the product?
FortiManager consolidates all the Fortigate Firewall into a single pane of management, creating templates like policy, profile, firmware upgrade and VPN to be deployed to the particular firewall.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are certain times the like to access the firewall directly. Since you set the Fortigate to be centrally managed by the FortiManager, you cannot change and forced to edit something lead to loss of management link between Fortigate and FortiManager. It would be better if you could change from Fortigate and at the same time you can also synchronize with FortiManager without breaking the management protocol.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Most of the cases are when our customers access the Fortigate and do the local configuration of the Fortigate without noticing or ignoring that it is centrally managed.
Most of the problems are disconnection between the FortiManager to all the Fortigate.
