Effortlessly Streamlined Security with Mature Processes
What do you like best about the product?
I truly appreciate eSentire for providing a quick ramp-up in terms of supporting and delivering security-related services to my organization. This efficiency stands in stark contrast to my experiences with previous MSSPs and SIEM solutions, which required a lot of back-and-forth before settling into a productive rhythm. With eSentire, the extensive legwork and time-consuming processes have been notably reduced, thanks in part to their well-constructed runbooks, playbooks, and procedures. I find these processes particularly mature, which not only boost my confidence in their service but also free me up to focus on more critical aspects of my role without constantly worrying about security alerts. Additionally, my experiences over the past year have been overwhelmingly positive, with a strong response from the customer account team that assures me my concerns are swiftly addressed. This attention to client needs has not been frequent, but whenever necessary, they've been handled seamlessly, which is very reassuring.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find some challenges with eSentire's managed vulnerability service, particularly with the web council not having all the functionalities I need. This results in having to resort to workarounds which takes extra time when providing detailed data and reports to management and the executive committee, especially for core or monthly reporting on vulnerability trends.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I rely on eSentire for security support since we lack internal analysts, receiving efficient Level 1 and 2 support. Their mature processes free me to focus on other responsibilities confidently.
Excellent Support and User-Friendly Software
What do you like best about the product?
Great support, easy to understand and use the software. Easy integration.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing noteworthy thus far. I have not had any bad experiences with eSentire.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using eSentire to secure and monitor our IT environment with their provided security software and networking logging tools.
Having a third party securing our network has freed up valuable time for us IT Administrators to focus on other areas and provides peace of mind knowing that we have expert external assistance if there are any security breaches.

Outstanding Experience from Start to Finish
What do you like best about the product?
Managed response to AV issues, eliminating training for internal staff, and moving this function to specialised staff.
What do you dislike about the product?
Logs don't have runbooks for Unifi equipment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Small team that still needs to meet the Australian Essential 8, so the internal team works on industry specific issues, while we offload specialised tasks that cover all businesses to other vendors.
Peace of Mind with Proactive EDR Management
What do you like best about the product?
We no longer have to worry about our EDR alerts, as the eSentire team now handles them for us and only escalates issues to us when they truly require our attention.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would appreciate a bit more visibility into how system monitoring and health checks are being maintained. When everything is running smoothly and alerts are minimal (which is great), it can be harder to see the ongoing efforts behind the scenes. Having a more transparent way to confirm that monitoring is active and effective would help reinforce confidence that everything is being proactively managed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With the eSentire team managing the EDR alerts, my small team is now able to concentrate on more strategic work. This shift has allowed us to dedicate our efforts to higher-level tasks, knowing that the alerts are being handled efficiently.
Easy MDR Setup and Great Support, but Alert Classification Needs Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
Set up wasn't difficult for MDR. Support has always been on top of the ball. Contacting them for extra help has always been easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Only real complaint is the way some alerts are classified.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
MDR solutions have been a godsend for our small security team. Though we still look at the alerts, eSentire stays on top of them and involves us when needed.
Effective but Expensive, with High Employee Turnover Concerns
What do you like best about the product?
Great support. Great SOC. Nothing gets past them.
What do you dislike about the product?
Cost. Employees keep changing - so no retention??? that is a really really really bad sign.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gives reports for anything asked. Giving full reports for anything that comes up when requested for the higher ups to look at.
Quick response cyber security
What do you like best about the product?
ESentire has provided ease of mind by securing our network in real time, 24/7. Their proactive approach has helped identify malicious activity before it could spread to other devices which is great.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not had any negative experiences with eSentire.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
ESentire is providing 24/7 monitoring of our endpoints, using their SOC and analytics to detect threats before they spiral out of control.
Worth the money.
What do you like best about the product?
Calling in I get a human quick. No endless menu to navigate. I can ask any question and get an answer I am happy with. Great response time.
What do you dislike about the product?
A bit slow on non critical issues. It is not cheap.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Releives stress when an issues pops up. I can always get eSentire to confirm if a suspected thing is an issue or not - and get a great write up on why.
eSentire the best of all the worlds
What do you like best about the product?
Best in class. Experience has been excellent and improved after replacing Arctic Wolfe with eSentire.
What do you dislike about the product?
Still working on getting everything into the same portal but they have been moving more and more into the same portal which has been much improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Providing security on every front. Has been great to know that we are covered. On very few occasions eSentire has caught threats and been able to isolate clients so as not to affect the rest of the network.
eSentire is a solid MDR option
What do you like best about the product?
The customer support is top notch, they are very responsive and take the time to give threat reviews to our security group.
What do you dislike about the product?
Until recently the portal needed work, but they are making good progress.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One of the most common alerts we get is notification of user logins from unusual locations.
