eSentire - a leader in Managed Detection and Response!
What do you like best about the product?
eSentire is a top ranked, one stop shop for all managed security needs. More than just MDR services, also offers Managed Risk portfolio (managed vulnerability services, Virtual CISO services, penetration testing, strategic services) and Digital Forensics and Incident Response services with eSentire IR Retainer offering and emergency IR support.
What do you dislike about the product?
Technically, there are no issues. As an Azure customer, we'd like to see more integration with Azure IaaS (coming).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
eSentire's EDR and network traffic sniffers are able to proactively detect and block malicious traffic patterns and prevent incidents, in all directions - the LAN, WAN, and remote access. Their managed vulnerability service has allowed us to keep all our systems patched and secure. They are also great at keeping us apprised on security trends, threat hunting, new technologies and how it affects our environment.
Proficient and Knowledgeable MSSP
What do you like best about the product?
the engineers that work with you to setup the MSSP are knowledgeable and helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
The SOC portal needs a lot of work! the graphs don't make sense
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
vulnerability management. We are able to keep track of vulnerabilities and their patching.

What do you like best about the product?
They are very hands-on, also if you run into any delays with answers, your account will be happy to take the lead and get you any info you need

This is a very costly product, but in this day and time, it's better to be safe than sorry!!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They keep you updated on all new and old Threats happening every day!!

What do you like best about the product?
Having eSentire as a partner has helped us protect our infrastructure and users in this ever-changing cybersecurity landscape. With excellent support and account management, they always lend us a helping hand when needed. Couldn't ask for more out of an MSSP.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing about eSentire that we can complain about.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
eSentire helps us protect our infrastructure and users with a wide range of security products. This allows us to spend time on other issues and upgrades that are needed.

What do you like best about the product?
I have had the pleasure of working with eSentire for the last 6 months, and I must say that my experience with them has been nothing short of exceptional. As a provider of comprehensive cybersecurity solutions, eSentire has consistently demonstrated its expertise, professionalism, and commitment to protecting my organization's digital assets.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the response times for specialized requests may take some time. If additional tuning is required on one of the alerts, you must create an extra ticket instead of just replying to the alert ticket.

Good and seemingly effective SOC service with some minor issues with Carbon Black
What do you like best about the product?
The eSentire alerts are helpful, and I appreciate that we get calls for especially important alerts
What do you dislike about the product?
Carbon Black is funky. Most of the time you cannot find a program we just got warned about by SOC, especially when it's vital.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They provide automated detection and alerts for potential attacks and unusual activity we couldn't catch across our tens of thousands of devices.
Excellent security service!
What do you like best about the product?
The network monitoring available from eSentire is amazing. We can have faith in our security posture due to their ability to detect and actively block security threats.
What do you dislike about the product?
The hardest thing about eSentire is keeping the licensing costs correct, especially when rolling out new Windows builds. This can lead to confusion in the actual cost of the product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed a security team that monitored and responded to security threats as they happen. ESentire allows a smaller firm like us to have an extremely high level security monitoring team at a reasonable cost.

What do you like best about the product?
The Customer Success Management team is excellent. The TRU Intelligence Briefings offer valuable and insightful information. The external traffic monitoring services ensure peace of mind by keeping us informed about any potential issues. Their weekly newsletter is a great resource, providing updates and important news relevant to our work.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be beneficial to have a single point of contact with ESOC, as this would enhance their knowledge of our environment and help build a stronger relationship with our team. Sometimes questions are answered with other questions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
eSentire provides 24/7 coverage to help us mitigate our cyber risks via their SOC and SEIM technology.
Solid Partner
What do you like best about the product?
eSentire was there for us when we needed a security partner most. After a significant threat actor event, they quickly onboarded our organization & helped us step through achieving a stronger security posture with several of their professional services. They have been a dependable partner with strong day-to-day support.
What do you dislike about the product?
The professional services they provide are quite expensive & at times a difficult sell to our executive management team. Dashboard access to managing our environment day-to-day is a bit awkward & cumbersome to navigate. It is in every client's best interest to reevaluate each eSentire professional service as the long-term value proposition can diminish as your network changes over time. eSentire services that are meaningful today may not hold up long-term.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
eSentire provides a second set of eyes on our network & provides the 24x7x365 coverage that my own staff cannot.
