What do you like best about the product?
24/7 SOC is always responsive, knowledgable and skilled. I know they have my back.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing that I dislike. They could use more staff dedicated to operational issues as opposed to cyber issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The partnership allows us to have 24/7 monitoring of our environment without staffing our own SOC. This saves on costs significantly. The expertise that Esentire brings would be hard to match on our own.

What do you like best about the product?
We've been using eSentire for over 5 years. Our experience with them has been great from the very beginning. Implementation is very easy and they are with you every step of the way. They have excellent customer support. Our dedicated customer success manager is always available to help, quick to respond, and loops in other experts when needed to provide expert security guidance. They go above and beyond to make sure we are well-supported, no matter the complexity of the issue. Their threat intelligence briefings and papers are also very helpful. They proactively warn us of current and emerging cyber threats and perform proactive threat hunts which helps us stay a step ahead of potential risks.
Overall, eSentire has proven to be a reliable security partner. The ability to send in multiple signals (endpoing, log, network, vulnerability, identity, etc.) truly set them apart.

What do you dislike about the product?
No security product or service provider is perfect. When they miscategorize or miss a security event, they learn from it and improve the overall process. As they have grown, we did notice a slight decrease in the quality of their alerts, but they have taken customers feedback and improved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Staffing security experts is not easy. eSentire provides subject matter experts and seasoned analysts to help us monitor our environment 24x7x365.
Amazing service that keeps us protected
What do you like best about the product?
I like the communication we reveive from our rep, engineer and technical support. We have quaartely reviews and this help our team stay on track and up to date on our security posture. The heavy lifting is odne by the eSentire team and we just monitor dsahboards and e-mail notifications as needed. The extended benifit of the Tenable tools for monitoring our system and helping us stay proactive on updates and software issues is a big bonus.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't found a downside at all. For us there have been no negetives.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a small I.T. staff and don't have a dedicated person and eSentire takes care of that roll for us savin us time and money.

Having eSentire in place has eliminated the stress of managing threat detection and response in house and allows us to focus instead on our risk mitigation efforts, project and task work.

We have yet to find a downside, they truly are a partner to us.

eSentire provides 24/7 monitoring, threat detection, investigation, and response so we can proactively address potential cyber threats before they escalate into serious breaches.
eSentire is phenomenal
What do you like best about the product?
eSentire has helped us in many situations. They have alerted us of the most simple of threats, and also of bad actors on our network. Before we even have to triage the situation they block the device(s) and keep our environment safe from lateral movement from the bad actors being on the device(s) that were infected.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly I haven't found one thing that I don't like about eSentire or their product line.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
eSentire is our Security Operations Center (SOC) and they solve so many different things for us. They take care of monitoring our network and detecting threats which is a HUGE WIN for us. We wouldn't be capable of handling the amount of threats that hit our medium sized company without them. Great company.

Working with their SOC is a good experience. I feel safe with them watching our network traffic.
What do you dislike about the product?
There was one occasion where they may have missed some fingerprints that appeared on a network device
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
eSentire is actively monitoring the traffic going into and out of our network and also performing penetration testing. The reporting of the pen tests is clear and readable. They are getting the job done actively distrupting undesireable traffic while providing good cusomter service.

What do you like best about the product?
Esentire has the right security experts, tools and mature process in place to support your business. Not just talk, but valuable monthly and quaterly reviews, with KPIs and other recomendations to support your business in staying secure.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is an investment. I am not sure any C-suite member likes added costs and expenses, but the value on the return is one not to regret!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Esentire provides us with the ability to have 24/7 SOC without the internal investment of resopurces, systems and tools to handle internally. A significant value in cost savings and expertise.
eSentire made it possible for us to identify risks and threats in our design
What do you like best about the product?
I like that it is easy to see risks and threats by using the services and that I get an email every week with a summary of the threats and risks. eSentire has helped us identify vulnerabilities much more quickly, determine how to prioritize them, and take steps to address them. eSentire offers a wide range of features and great customer support, so it was fairly straightforward to integrate and start getting value from the service. Our engineers and myself are active users of eSentire right now and that was not the case 3 months ago.
What do you dislike about the product?
It was somewhat hard for us to set everything up correctly, so that we had insight into where the vulnerabilities resided. We were able to add in some prefixes for our service, which enabled us to identify the source, but it took some time to get it set up correctly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
eSentire is enabling us to see vulnerabilities we have and determine how big of a threat they are. We are now able to make informed decisions about which vulnerabilities we want to address.
SMB consideration for MDR vendor
What do you like best about the product?
Depth of skill, commitment to resolution and customer service
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasional responsiveness on mid or lower level threats.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They are providing the round the clock coverage of our environment using tools and technology we are not staffed to understand or maintain.

What do you like best about the product?
Communication with the team is professional, we always find someone who is knowledeable about our company and responds quickly. As our MSSP, eSentire does not just throw alerts to our side of the wall but seriously investigates and provides solid evidence when things need to be seen by us.
What do you dislike about the product?
I could not come up with something that needs to be named as a dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
eSentire is the backbone of our cybersecurity, they see all our logs, they have a solid understanding of the functioning of our company and they accordingly investigate issues that creates alerts on their side. Issues that need our attention are escalated to us.
