Reduced time spent on demos!
What do you like best about the product?
Recording workflows with the Chrome extension is incredibly easy. You can easily capture steps and even add to an existing demo, making updates smooth. The editing tools and available options are intuitive and user friendly. We rely on it for nearly all our training videos and new feature launch demos
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven’t been able to blur sections in a video snippet, but it’s not a major issue we’ve found workarounds that do the job.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reducing repeated demo - Before Storylane our team used to hop on multiple calls to train the same customers on the product. Now, we give them a pre-watch recording and then hop on calls just for QA. Our Demo calls which used to be an hour or two is now just QA calls which go on for 30 mins.

What do you like best about the product?
Storylane has revolutionized how we showcase our product. The ability to quickly create interactive demos using HTML, screenshots, and even Figma designs has been invaluable, especially for features still in development. This has increased stakeholder confidence and allowed us to engage prospects with dynamic, self-guided demos on their own time. The implementation process was remarkably smooth, and the tool itself is quite easy to use. Our integration with Hubspot took like 3 minutes - literally the fastest time it's ever taken to integrate with our CRM.
Storylane’s support has been outstanding; we especially appreciated the responsive support in the Slack channel and their availability for calls at critical milestones. The sales and onboarding experience was exceptional; the Storylane team provided a fast, custom demo, tailored support, and a smooth transition. We use Storylane in our sales sequencing flows and heavily during our two conference rush times of the year.
Our leadership team is thoroughly impressed with the final product's professional look and feel.

What do you dislike about the product?
While Storylane offers robust analytics, I'm still working to fully understand how to best leverage them, particularly for prospects who haven't yet been identified as leads in our HubSpot account. A clearer understanding of tracking engagement and attribution prior to lead capture would be beneficial. Additionally, while the Figma integration is powerful, it can be time-consuming to get the files precisely right for demo use. We've found that using the HTML mode is significantly faster for demo creation.
Overall, Storylane has been a fantastic tool with a strong ROI and has significantly improved our demo process and prospect engagement.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Storylane primarily helps us generate market interest in features while they're still in development by creating compelling demos using Figma designs. It's also incredibly powerful for showcasing features that span across different personas and devices. For example, we can now seamlessly demonstrate how a feature works across the parent and staff mobile apps and the owner's main platform dashboard, something that was cumbersome and ineffective with previous methods.

What do you like best about the product?
We have journeys on the lead to conversion but we were missing the how to handhold a customer to set up their account.
We needed 3 core actions and a guided tutorial with Pendo or Intercom weren't cutting it.

What do you dislike about the product?
The mobile how to is tough to use. It takes screenshots vs an overlay on the device. They told us this is coming in the roadmap, we're hopeful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We need more hand holding on "feeling" how to onboard vs. a guide from another app. This is an interactive way for our new users who've purchased off of a website to get started on their own.
A great tool for creating interactive product demos
What do you like best about the product?
The tool is user-friendly and has a simple learning curve. The demo creation process is engaging, enabling data and engagement tracking with detailed information. The AI-assistance also helped us enhance the demo experience. Their team is really helpful in offering exclusive details to improve the product's performance and productivity.
What do you dislike about the product?
Initially, the pagination of the demo became difficult, especially for the HTML version. Although the demo examples are great and offer detailed directions for more enhanced demos, a beginner-friendly guide is much needed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The Hubspot and webhook integration streamlines the lead generation and subsequent conversations. Their analytics hub is a good feature for tracking all demo engagement related data with required details to help sales and marketing teams in our efforts.
Very good tool for demoing complex software.

Easy to Use, Great Customer Support, Easy to integrate into Hubspot an other CRMs.

You cannot freely design many fields or adjust font sizes and formatting exactly to your needs.

With Storylane we can easily and quickly build demos that give an insight into the product.
Storylane has made product tours a breeze
What do you like best about the product?
It is really easy to use and great value for money. There are so many uses cases for it across different departments. We've used it to create guided product tours for lead generation across multiple product lines. Our sales team have also leveraged them to create interactive product tours while working opportunities. I like that you can chose where to gate the tour as well as the product hub feature. I like that you can export tours as videos/GIFS as well as the AI voiceovers/videos really help to make them more engaging. The customer support has also been amazing whenever I've had any questions the team is really responsive and helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Struggling to think of any downsides to be honest.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows us to showcase our products in an engaging way that is also easy to update rather than traditional old demo videos which require a lot of resources to film the demo and then once its published is challenging to update/tweak as well as get performance analytics on.
Seamless experience
What do you like best about the product?
I think Storylane is a tool with a seamless experience, easy understanding, a simple journey to achieve the goal. The demo is really effective to make it easier to use the tool for the first time. I think that the number of possible integrations and analytics are the main points, they will be useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
I didn't find by the beggining negative points.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It makes easier for me to create no-code demos and test it, without making a big effort or demand from the developers. Just when the design is ready and tested the developers can act and personalize according with our design system.
A very easy to use and flexible tool with a good user experience
What do you like best about the product?
Storylane has been very easy to implement and use not just for sales demos, but also for user tutorials throughout our customer journey. The tool is very flexible and has been able to delivery everything that we have asked of it so far.
What do you dislike about the product?
While packed with functionality, some of it is hidden away or requires some unintuitive workarounds to achieve the desired results. However our customer success manager has made themselves available to support us in these instances.

What do you like best about the product?
The product has many capabilities, but at the same time is easy to use. Once you get hold of how the flow works, it is very easy to keep extending more workflows.

Some areas around the pages were not intuitive at the beginning.

I have a saas product for which my customers require training. Storylane helps in this training to be done without manual intervention.
It is a great way to demo online software

We can demo our online Hotel management software with the need to setup clients

Changing the popovers wipes the previous version

It quickly demos the software without the cost of setting up a client.
