Great buying experience - even better as a customer!
What do you like best about the product?
Very genuine, helpful and honest buying experience. Very focused on understand my use cases and fully comfortable calling out both strengths and weaknesses in the Storyane platform.
As a customer really impressed with the ongoing customer support. Feels very personalised. The platform is very much as I experienced during the buying process - no surprises. Many of the promised updates have materialised already.
Very responsive support with regular offers of workarounds where I'm trying to deliver an edge use case.
Easy to use and many great export options. This is rapidly becoming something I dip into on a daily basis to build new demos for sales and marketing.

What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it's a little unintuitive and it would be great if I could change some of the default settings for example my preferred demo format.
Lacking in access controls - so anyone can build and publish demos

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed to make it easier to show case how we solve customer problems. We also wanted to make it easier to communicate new feature releases.
Further we wanted to make our knowledge base more interactive and therefore more effective.
We wanted to make our demos and tours simpler for customers and prospects to see and try. We needed to boost consistency between sessions and we need to remove the friction in onboarding new staff who had limited access to resources

Fantastic Product - Significant improvement to Sales Cycle and Training
What do you like best about the product?
Storylane has been great for us for the past 2+ years. What is great is that they are constantly improving the product. The enhanced automations and ever improving AI is fantastic. The ease of use and the ability for our team members to pick up how to use the product.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the advanced features can get a little price prohibitive for smaller companies like ours but we understand the value they provide.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reduction in Sales Cycle Time and improving our Time to Value for our customers in training on our SaaS application.

What do you like best about the product?
Storylane helps enormously to showcase our WebApp and strengthen trust. Let's be honest: Marketing for Saas companies means building a strong brand *around* the product to create trust in your solution. Since the audience can't really be picked up emotionally by software screenshots, it's better to focus on the story, the people behind the company and which pain points you want to solve. But Storylane is a game changer here. It makes product marketing a lot of fun. And it creates trust in our product through the easy and click-through demos. We are only just beginning to explore the possibilities of Storylane. Every update brings very strong arguments for working with it even more and incorporating it even more into our marketing process. Plus: Storylane itself is a great brand. Fun, practical, intuitive and a marketing hero and role model for me personally as a marketeer. Keep up the good work!!!
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm not sure if I have overseen it, but copying and pasting chapters and/or single software demo screens and including them in another Demo would be nice.
I would love to have an option to control the add-on in a way that I can let it know when to do a screenshot.

Showcasing our WebApp / do marketing for our WebApp / in the future: improve lead qualification
The easiest solution to create and share demos both externally and internally!
What do you like best about the product?
How easy it is to use with great features to add voice, sharing demos and I love how it is integrated to HubSpot. They are a great tool for Sales, Customer Services and Marketing.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would love to see further integration to HubSpot to improve campaigns with demos and personalise these.

Showcasing how easy to use our own platforms are and how guide new clients through easy steps to get started.

Nothing comes to mind as they appear to always be improving and launching new features based on user feedback.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Self led demos in email sequencing to help drive new business leads.
Very nice tool to create quickly click through demos and share it to your customers

The best thing for me is that if you missed something in your recording, or if you forget something in your initial scenario, it's very easy and quick to record new screens , and add them to you current demo.
I also liked how it was easy to integrate in Chrome and start recording!

What do you dislike about the product?
First discovery of storylane can be a little bit disturbing if you start by creating a big demo, because you'll have many and many screen and it can appears as very long to finish your first demo. On my experience, my first demo was long, and I accept automatic AI recommandations to add comments boxes on my demo, and finally these AI recommandation was not really accurate in my specific use case.
My recommandation is to start discovering Storylane by creating small demos and then accelerate!

What do you like best about the product?
Helps me spin up personalized demos quickly, and allows customer facing teams to replicate and customize as needed

My only complaint is that I wish responsive demos were possible

Storylane is easy to use, and quick to deploy. We've been using Storylane to provide customers with product demonstrations, training documentation and other quick end user support.

Storylane Streamlines Demo Building
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of use and rapid building of demos this enables.
What do you dislike about the product?
The demo videos are isolated once recorded, so you can't remix/recut them together. I'd like to be able to stitch together demos based on the features a given client is interested in.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Storylane to build simple demos that users can navigate through autonomously. These demos are a great improvement over a simple video recording because Storylanes tools allow you to draw the user's attention to specific parts of the screen while providing detailed information about that specific feature.
Great, Easy-toUse Tool for Buildign Quality Product Demos
What do you like best about the product?
We've found Storylane to be intuitive, flexible, and effective at showcasing the many different aspects of our SaaS platform. Basically no code, so it's easy for members of various teams to create attractive, guided experiences without heavy technical lift. Cross-fuctional teams - Marketing, Product, Training all use and speak highly of the tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
Overall, good value for the price, but certain design / branding options are a little bit restrictive compared to fully custom-built demos, so we do sacrifice a bit there. Also, we've found that occasionally, demos might not look exactly the same across all browsers or devices, which can require extra QA time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Storylane is solving the challenge of showing our aspects of our solution's value in a fast, engaging way. It allows us to create interactive, self-guided demos that let potential customers experience the product on their own terms.
