Effortless AI Avatar Demos Without Recording Yourself
What do you like best about the product?
That I can create demos with AI avatars, and I dont need to record myself

The AI voices can be a little bit more realistic
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I needed to record demos myself and that takes a lot of times, rerecord etc., it saves a lot of time for me.
Effortless Setup and Real-Time Updates That Save Time
What do you like best about the product?
Incredibly easy to set up and integrate trough either just a link or an embed. Making changes to your work as you go and being able to follow these changes in real time is extremely time saving.
What do you dislike about the product?
As with anything I think you want to have the same system for everything. Currently, we do not have that option in our "main" plattforms so more of a knock on that rather than on Storylane..
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a pretty "old school" target audience - being able to provide them with a interactive demo straight from our portal is valuable and time saving for us aswell as getting our users to use the portal way faster.

Easy, Customizable Storylane Creation with Helpful AI Suggestions
What do you like best about the product?
I really love the customizations the product has to offer and how easy it is to make the storylane with just screenrecording. the ai suggestions are well worked for me. the initial suggestions were enough for me to get it go. i used my storylane to attach to a mvp product for showcase on the website. and my. cto and other team members loved it and asked about how did i do this. the integration with website was easy. onboarding and free tier are also best part for me to get started.
What do you dislike about the product?
i dont find anything to such dislike about, just the email notifications on every view was a bit overwhelming. i guess they should have given an option to turn notifications off, but i havent thought of doing so previously.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
maybe at onboarding should ask if i need emails for every view update or not. and i dont know if its possible to add multi tab recordings as a feature
Great Voiceover and Auto-Narration, but the Price Feels High

The voiceover, the autogenerated narrative

The price is a bit too pricey, the script re-writing require admin to click save. I sometimes forgot to clikc save after generated by AI. hence, what i did is gone

The initial setup can take a bit of time when working with more detailed, multi-step workflows, as getting everything to flow correctly requires some patience. Customization options can also feel slightly limited when trying to align the demo with a very specific brand style. These are minor drawbacks, but worth noting for teams with more complex needs.

Storylane eliminates the need for lengthy written instructions or live walkthroughs by turning complex workflows into clear, visual step-by-step tours. Users can follow along at their own pace, knowing exactly where to click and what to expect next. This has noticeably improved our onboarding process and saved our team a significant amount of time on training and support.

I love this app. It is so helpful, saves hours of editing time and makes demos effortlessly look personalized, effective and professional

I came across a single bug in hours upon hours (probably over 30) on this app this since February alone. This weas immediately sorted by fantastic staff- no complaints and I dislike nothing about it

What do you like best about the product?
Storylane is unique to its market. It's nice to finally find a tool that lets us build interactive demos while doubling as a video editor.
Our team likes that it has easy to use features and lets us create demos in minutes. As someone that isn't a video content editor professionally, I really enjoy the features that Storylane has to offer.
The tool also works fast and I have not had issues with speed or performance despite editing chapters-long demos.
Their support team is also responsive and I find my messages responded to in less than 24 hours.

No edit history. I had asked about this although the support team was kind enough to acknowledge and provide a turnaround
There are also some issues with the AI voiceovers (which is expected because AI is not reliable and nothing beats actual actors), such as their voice getting distorted and the fact that their AU female voice actor sounds British.

Storylane is helping our teams create demos in minutes for our product pages. We're more than happy to explore more avenues to use Storylane such as in demos, events, etc.

What do you like best about the product?
The fact that I can use it to communicate with people at their own pace. A lot of the time prospects are focused on one or two non-negotiable pain points, if I can show how to solve them quickly then it's a big win

Team management is difficult, I've got multiple people on multiple accounts, trying to organise them is hard, especially if someone leaves
