Awesome Software Demonstration Tool & Great Customer Experience
What do you like best about the product?
Love the ability to create vignettes that tell a story about our software to end-users using Storylane. The simplicity Storylane offers in capturing videos of our software and building multiple examples helps our business demonstrate appeal to various personas. And this is so fast and simple, it's eliminated the need for a video budget to showcase similar features.
Our executive team continues to rave about how well Storylane visualizes our own software tool.
Nalin our sales rep was incredible during the sales process by succinctly demonstrating Storylane, applying it to our business and leaving out all the sales mumbo-jumbo talk. Did I also mention how affordable it is? Also love that.
Our marketing director had it up and running in one day once we purchased. We receive monthly emails with new product features and updates - it's incredible.

What do you dislike about the product?
I do not have anything to dislike about Storylane.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gives our prospective customers a story of how they will use our software in a self-guided demo. It shows off the power of our own software that leads to deeper conversations with new prospective customers.
Super easy to deploy without need for pre-sales support
What do you like best about the product?
Storylane is great for creatingproduct walk throughs that explain the use case to potential users in a clear and concise manner. The options to capture demos via html or static images are more user friendly than other products in the market. The opportunity to tailor product flows for specific clients, embed them in e-mails or on websites enhances engagement with prospective leads while helping tailor the messaging.
The experience is self explanatory, but there exists the option for support and you can even book time with the co-founder of the company to get some feedback.

What do you dislike about the product?
In the free - tier the product does include Storylane branding, which in itself is not unusual, but it would be great to give companies the chance to use the product without branding for a short period of time.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Storylane makes your sales team more efficent by enabling you to create focused product run throughs without the need for a live product demo. These guided demos can be embedded in e-mails and websites, enabling the sales team to get more engagement out of their sales e-mails, more qualified leads, and in turn more conversions.

Being in a SaaS, it is sometimes difficult to show the client all the features in a single meeting — the storylane allows us to show offline all the features that were not discussed.

Sometimes it becomes a little difficult to update old ones, it's easier to create one again

Its user-friendly interface.

What do you dislike about the product?
Industry specific features can be built out further.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I save hours every week with scalable and effective product demos. This frees up my time for in-person meetings and high level creative work.
Amazing product with great customer service!
What do you like best about the product?
Storylane makes it quick and easy to create a sales demo or product demo using HTML. I can run through a site/area I need to show and then edit my demo quickly as I add Flows (walk through guides). It is also so easy to change wording on HTML designs. When I do have an issue they have great guides to use and customer support.
What do you dislike about the product?
This might be user error but I am not sure how to take an HTML page/slide from one demo and use it in another.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is making it easier for me to show potential clients our product. It also makes it easier to show current clients what we have created during the first stages of building.

Solution Engineers - providing guided tutorials to repeated requests for information that allow them to streamline their support and provide an imrpoved experience for our customers
Internal training - a fundamental part of our internal training programs, ensuring we are up to speed with all aspect of our products.

Analytics could be a little better / clearer in platform
More user internal user insight, who is doing what etc.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Providing a top of funnel experience that is not jsut a step further than screen shots of our products but a genrational leap. Putting our pridcuts in the hands of our prospects allows us to highlight our USP in a clear an effective manner.
Usuing the platform for onboarding of customers, internal training, developing onward documentation are all other areas that this is supporting.

Excellent product & well priced
What do you like best about the product?
We were struggling to find a quick solution to have a demo environment to onboard users as we didn't want to commit development time to creating this experience and we went out to the market to look.
Storylane really stood out with it's easy to use system and allows you to build the demo flow in a very fast manner. This is ideal for us that don't want to create a custom beta version.
They have a really easy flow to understand and the chrome extension works very well.

I think the embeded versions could be more simple and it was a bit annoying that some of the elements were not dynamic.

Demo walkthrough for my software helping us onboard users faster.
User Friendly Product for interactive demos
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use is what makes the product stand out and also way more affordable when compared with other competitors.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not sure how we can measure success out of this since an interactive demo is within the conversion funnel. So, it gets hard to measure conversions from the demo.

A tool that will help provide a sneak peak of the product for users who visit the website.

What do you like best about the product?
Really easy to create a demo with the chrome extension.
What do you dislike about the product?
I couldn't figure out how to create a screen with a comment without a dot and without a shadowed screen behind.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Storylane helps me to prepare a guide-through demo of my platform for the users. Alternative would be videos, which are subject to a poor voice or intonation.
From Sales Demos to Customer Guides
What do you like best about the product?
Originally, we adopted Storylane to streamline our sales process — reducing prep time and enabling more reps to deliver demos seamlessly. Over time, it’s evolved into a multi-departmental tool. Today, Storylane is used not only for sales demos but also as internal guides, customer onboarding resources, and much more, becoming an integral part of how we share knowledge and streamline processes across the company.
What do you dislike about the product?
The occasional issue when using image tokens that the original still exists and the new one is on top.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Storylane is letting me pass more of my workload towards my colleagues and let them run demos earlier without technical help. Helping us onboard customers faster by creating content that they can click through in their own time. Creating Sales demo content for Partners that can demo their products together with ours.
