User-Friendly and Organized, With a Learning Curve
What do you like best about the product?
Diligent Community is much more user friendly and organized for all three components we need
What do you dislike about the product?
Not many downsides but I and my colleagues are still learning on it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
none at the moment because we are still in the process of migration.
Outstanding Staff Support and Thorough Training Resources
What do you like best about the product?
The support from staff and the thorough training videos and conferences.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't found anything not helpful or useful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The time saving features for creating an agenda and then the minutes.
Excellent Board Agenda Organization and Smooth Meeting Management
What do you like best about the product?
Its organization of board agenda items and the process to run a board meeting.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a few things, such as the lack of being able to justify, within board agenda item development and review
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I appreciate that Community is already ADA compliant.
User-Friendly and Simple, but BoardDocs Migration Needed More Hands-On Support
What do you like best about the product?
Community is very user friendly. It is a simple process to create a template, an agenda, and manage users and groups.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't think it is a downsize of Community directly, but the migration process from BoardDocs to Diligent Community was not an easy process and had many challenges. I would have liked to have more one on one time with the staff at Diligent during the transition.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Community allows all of our District's Board information in one spot, it is easy for Board members to access, and simple for them to navigate .
Practical for Board Meetings but Needs Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate that Diligent Community saves me time and reduces stress during board meetings. The ease of use is a big plus, making it simpler to navigate. I also value the meeting agenda feature, which helps keep things organized.

I think the Minutes feature could be improved.

Diligent Community saves me time and stress.
Intuitive, Readable Agendas—But Missing Boarddocs Features and Occasional Freezes
What do you like best about the product?
Publishing and sharing public agenda is intuitive and easily readable. I find the platform to be mainly intuitive and user friendly.
What do you dislike about the product?
There were some features removed comin from Boarddocs. Such as viewing the live action votes as soon as they are recorded, locking agenda items as they are being edited, user access seems to create more access compared to before. Also our minutes software seems to freeze up often causing delays in recording votes/minute taking during a live a meeting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For me the product seems to be working for education as needed for our public agendas, with some minor issues in agenda building. We are told there are a lot of upcoming fixes in the roadmap but not sure how quick our concerns will be resolved.
Diligent Community
What do you like best about the product?
The public facing page has a lot of information.
What do you dislike about the product?
Very rough transition from Board Docs to Diligent Community. Lots of workarounds and feature requests.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Searchable agendas and Board Policies in the same location.
Interactive, User-Friendly Platform with Minor Improvable Aspects
What do you like best about the product?
I think Diligent Community is great and I like the platform, especially the agenda feature. It's an interactive platform that's easy to use, making it valuable for entering agenda items.

I don't like that once I submit it I don't see where it is in the platform tree.

Efficient Document Sharing, But Room for Improvement

I like how Diligent Community simplifies the process of uploading travel documents to share with the board and public. It provides information on how to explore the system, which has been helpful for me. The agenda tools are especially important for keeping board documents organized.

What do you like best about the product?
Platform is user friendly, easy post website is pretty

Printer version of the agenda is too big, need download to word to make changes to margins etc.
