Formatting almost always comes out weird if I don't fix it first. In 2024 overly sequenced emails are very easy to be ignored as spam.

Great but not amazing
What do you like best about the product?
Outreach is really really good for emailing, sequencing, and prospect management. It talks to Salesforce really well as well. The tagging features, call and email insights, and email management features are well fleshed out. With a lot of customizability as well in every aspect. The Outreach support is great as well.
What do you dislike about the product?
- Invalid numbers still show up as a call task
- Sometimes the importing features give me a headache, and emails don't update when updated in the Lead from Salesforce
- Dialing features are not great, and for high volume teams, this will be a huge lag. Sometimes numbers don't connect, sometimes valid numbers don't dial, and we show as spam 15-20% of the time.
- You have to make sure this is setup well for personalization in emails
- No LinkedIn automation
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reaching a large number of prospects in a short amount of time specifically over email. Gives the ability for a dialer and local dialing.

Ease of use on outreach is awesome. I have the least amount of issues with the outreach platform than any other platform I use.

Automated time management sequence bottlenecks.

All sequences and automated emails go through sequence. Solves for time and the amount of prospects I can manage daily.

it has a lot of features such as checking live who's interacting with my emails and you can integrate with a lot of sales tools

when you're sending an email, the email screen is very small and you can barely see what you're sending. Also, it'd be great to have a better overview of my accounts and pending tasks

It's is my sales tool and works well, however, I prefer others like Salesloft

Users often dislike the steep learning curve of Outreach, as well as occasional bugs and slow loading times that can affect efficiency. Some also find the pricing to be higher compared to alternatives.

Predatory Contracts
What do you like best about the product?
They sent us to collections even though we told them we gave a 30-day notice. after talking to collections they confirmed we did in fact give 30 day notice and closed the claim. a lot of wasted time and dozens of emails back and forth.
What do you dislike about the product?
Their product is ok, but quickly going out of date - competitors and AI are rendering their solution obsolete. We would have been more willing to support them if they didn't enforce predatory contracts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
After seven years as a client of Outreach, we initially found the platform invaluable for documenting our cold outreach to potential clients. However, over time, the platform has not evolved to meet modern demands. Today, there are numerous alternatives that offer superior performance, enhanced features, more insightful reporting, and at a significantly lower cost. It is also mindblowing that their billing is still a completely separate platform with different login credentials - making billing issues brutally painful to navigate

What is our primary use case?
I was the PRN Outreach lead of my club and my college. In this role, I conducted promotions and approached sponsors for my events. I was responsible for organizing multiple events and reaching out to sponsors, students, and other stakeholders.
What is most valuable?
Outreach is very good when engaging with sponsors to understand their expectations. Knowing what a company expects from a community or a club helps when seeking sponsorship.
What needs improvement?
Improvements can be made to accommodate sponsors who are not physically available in the same state. If sponsors are open to it, meetings could be conducted on an online platform to finalize deals more effectively.
Additionally, making the responses more attractive and effective can draw more students, the public, and companies to explore the offerings.

I have been using Outreach for more than a year.
What do I think about the stability of the solution?
There have been no issues with the stability. It operates smoothly.
What do I think about the scalability of the solution?
Scalability depends on the product and the target audience, such as age, gender, or other demographics. It varies based on whom we are targeting.
How are customer service and support?
The support team plays a major role in handling various tasks like scheduling meetings and accommodating changes in plans. They are supportive and capable of managing both main and smaller companies.

Outreach is very good for interacting and conducting marketing efforts, which allows you to understand the expectations of the audience and improve the product if needed.
