What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
BrowserStack is helping me track my testing efforts, store and organize test cases, provide reports and visibility to stakeholders. We work in sprints, and I use Test Runs to display which test cases were used in the current sprint. Active test runs data provides high visibility and status update to the team. It is also helping me track automation test coverage.
Excellent Product and Support!
What do you like best about the product?
BrowserStack Live has been an invaluable tool that we've utilized across our organization and within our workflows. Having access to a vast array of devices, browsers, and versions has never been easier. You have access to all of the browsers debugging capabilities as well as the option to tunnel traffic so that you can perform testing on local or internal environments during software development. Whenever any sort of issue or questions have arised, the support team has always been able to respond quickly and help us with a solution.
What do you dislike about the product?
While myself and team love the product, I think one of the main issues are with latency when interacting with the remote devices/browsers. While it has gotten significantly better over the years, it's still something that we experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Browserstack gives us the ability to test (manually & automated) across a vast array of browsers and devices which we wouldn't realistically be able to secure nor maintain.
Revolutionized Our Cross-Browser Testing
What do you like best about the product?
I really like that BrowserStack provides instant access to real devices with various OS and browser versions, which makes cross-browser testing easy. We don't need to set up any virtual machines, saving us cost, time, and effort. It's fantastic that we can do both live and automation tests in the same place using BrowserStack. Access is instant through the cloud, and we can quickly replicate the desired OS and browser to test and share results. The BrowserStack dashboard is user-friendly and doesn't require any specific training. It ensures backward compatibility and helps validate UX consistency. Plus, BrowserStack doesn't require any hardware setup, and it works from any machine since it's cloud-based, so the initial setup didn't take more than 15 minutes. In the current market, BrowserStack outstands in performance and features, and I would recommend it on a scale of 10.
What do you dislike about the product?
BrowserStack has performance issues. Since we access the device/OS/browsers from the cloud, we find latency very often, and UI elements are not quickly clickable or accessible. Even logging into the application takes a delay most of the time. BrowserStack local tunneling is tricky for new users. A frequent issue faced was lag in screen updates after triggering actions. Also, sometimes button clicks and their response take delay. Form input sometimes registers keystrokes slowly. Automated test suites with more than 70+ test cases take more time to complete execution. Slower test execution due to extra network hops. Need a single command setup that handles firewall conflicts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use BrowserStack to test our application across different browsers and versions without needing a physical device lab. It ensures cross-browser compatibility and helps debug applications quickly, saving cost and effort. It simplifies testing by providing instant cloud access to different OS types and versions.

Good Tool for Reliable Cross-Browser Testing
What do you like best about the product?
As a senior engineer, I appreciate how BrowserStack makes cross-browser and cross-device testing easier. We don’t have to manage our own device lab. The coverage is excellent. I can launch real devices and browsers in seconds. It works well with automation frameworks like Selenium and Cypress, which makes it simple to add regression tests to CI/CD pipelines. Live debugging tools, network simulation, and geolocation testing help a lot in reproducing issues that depend on specific environments. Ease of Implementation is also good.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, sessions can be slow on older devices or when running multiple tests at once. Test execution limits on lower-tier plans can also limit scaling for larger QA efforts. The documentation could provide more detail in some areas, especially with complex automation setups.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
BrowserStack allows me to verify code across many browsers and mobile environments quickly. This ensures that features work the same way and that users have a consistent experience. It has greatly reduced the number of cross-browser bugs that make it to production and has lessened the time spent on manual device testing. Overall, it has become an essential part of our release process.
