A Cost-Effective Solution for Multi-Device Testing
What do you like best about the product?
I use BrowserStack for testing front ends on mobile and accessibility, and I really appreciate being able to use many remote devices like iPads and Samsung phones that I don't have access to physically. The interactive remote devices are my favorite feature, and they save me from having to spend thousands on physical devices.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing that I can think of!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use BrowserStack to test on many devices I don't own, like iPads and Samsung phones, saving me thousands on physical devices.
Great Device Coverage, but Needs Better Dev Tools
What do you like best about the product?
I like how simple it is to grab a device that was reported to have an issue and try and reproduce it. Lots of bugs happen on specific devices or specific OS versions, and because we remote work, we can't possibly own all those devices at every developer's house. BrowserStack allows us to fill that gap when reproducing and testing bugs.
What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest hurdle that I run into is the browser developer tools suck. They don't work half the time, or they freeze or exhibit all kinds of janky behavior. Because it's often critical to diagnosing the issue, when it doesn't work, your application goes from helpful to just a waste of time in a half second. The other is sometimes you don't have the combination device the customer has, and in those cases, you also aren't useful. Lastly, the speed of getting into your device is slow when doing work fast with AI. It's much slower than just opening my Dev Tools locally and going, but sometimes it's necessary. Then as I am generating code, my session gets logged out, and having to re-get a device and re-login to my stuff and get back to where I was is a pain. If it could remember logged-in sessions between sessions, that would be very helpful, and if it could be part of my Chrome as an extension or something so it's already one click in my workflow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
BrowserStack lets me recreate and solve bugs on devices I don't own, filling the gap in remote work testing.

Seamless Multi-Browser Testing with Robust Automation
What do you like best about the product?
I really love the multi-browser capabilities of BrowserStack. We can almost test on any device, be it Android or Safari. I also like using the automate feature in our automation scripts, which allows us to execute on BrowserStack and provides us with detailed videos. This has really expedited our work, helping us keep track of our automation scripts in the cloud, ensuring that we don't lose the reporting part and are able to expedite parallel execution. The initial setup was quite easy, and we were able to do it in a very less amount of time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the URLs are behind the firewall, so we have to use the BrowserStack local testing. That is one limitation we have seen, but we could overcome it using the local testing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
BrowserStack helps us perform visual testing on over 50+pages across different browsers on the cloud, expediting execution for our 50 plus clients and keeping execution details intact.
Efficient Testing with Robust Logs, Minor Wait Time Issues
What do you like best about the product?
I mainly use BrowserStack for automation tasks, where it allows me to check for bug fixes and test cases. It provides a helpful testing framework that reduces my workload. The biggest help is using it as a testing framework for multiple devices and browsers. The best aspect is the helpful logs it provides. Also, the easy integration works well. The initial setup of BrowserStack was pretty straightforward.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like the wait times on certain devices.

What do you dislike about the product?
The cost can be a challenge for a small software developer.

Great Browser and Resolution Availability
What do you like best about the product?
Availablity of browsers and resolutions is great and gives real insight when making UX decisions
What do you dislike about the product?
it would be good to get IRL stats of how many uses are on this type of device with a certain type of resolution.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Clunky UX and no in house deisgners mean we are fumbling in the dark for UX improvements

Streamlined QA with Visual Insights
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ability to visually see our metrics and understand what's being captured during our testing phase. It's valuable because it lets us see how much time we're putting into what tasks and helps determine whether we can continue projects. I also found the initial setup to be really easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think our AI capabilities need to be enhanced more. There's certainly a lot of more products out there that can improve that effort.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use BrowserStack to see our metrics in automation, showing what's passing in QA, helping decide project continuation.
