Simplifying Cross-Platform Testing with BrowserStack
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about BrowserStack is how easy it makes cross-browser and cross-device testing without needing to maintain physical devices. The real device cloud is fast and reliable, and it saves a lot of time during development. I also like the intuitive interface and the ability to quickly debug issues across different environments
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing I dislike about BrowserStack is that it can sometimes be a bit slow, especially when launching devices or running multiple sessions. The pricing can also be high for individual users or small projects. Occasionally, there are minor performance or connection issues that can affect the testing experience
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
BrowserStack solves the problem of testing websites and applications across different browsers, devices, and operating systems without needing to own or manage physical hardware. This benefits me by saving time and resources, allowing me to quickly identify and fix compatibility issues, and ensuring a consistent user experience for all users. It also makes the testing process more efficient and accessible from anywhere
Great Cloud Testing Resource with Device Variety
What do you like best about the product?
I use BrowserStack for manual testing with different devices, and I appreciate that it provides me with different screen sizes to test responsiveness. I like that it being cloud-based means I don't need to install anything. The availability of a variety of devices gives me a device farm ready to use whenever I need it. Also, the initial setup was easy for me.
What do you dislike about the product?
I need to use the full BrowserStack stack if I want to take advantage of everything, which means I need to change all my stack too. All products could be separate as SDKs or APIs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use BrowserStack for manual testing on different devices. It solves issues by providing various screen sizes to test responsiveness and offers a cloud-based solution, so I don't need to install anything. It provides a ready-to-use device farm.
Intuitive Testing with Great Integrations, but Onboarding Can Feel Overwhelming
What do you like best about the product?
The interface is very intuitive, which makes cross-browse and mobile app testing straightforward and easy to navigate. The integration with Github Actions, Jira and Slack is great. It also recently added support for AI which makes test cases to be easily generated.
What do you dislike about the product?
Support and onboarding can be a little too overwhelming. Also I hope the price can be lowered.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We target to build and ship high performance web apps in speed, and testing was a pain. BrowserStack provided a suite of testing solutions that I can easily apply to our development.
Powerful Real-Device Testing and Debugging, but Pricing and Performance Can Frustrate
What do you like best about the product?
I like that BrowserStack gives instant access to thousands of real browsers and devices in the cloud, so you avoid maintaining any lab at all while still testing under realistic conditions. I also like its strong integrations (Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, CI/CD tools) and the debugging extras like videos, logs, and screenshots that make reproducing and fixing issues much faster.
What do you dislike about the product?
BrowserStack's pricing is often called expensive, especially for small teams or individuals, with costs quickly adding up for more parallels or seats. Performance issues like slow loading, laggy mobile interactions, and flaky sessions during peak times frustrate users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
OSes, and real devices without needing to own or manage them yourself. This cuts hardware costs, speeds up QA cycles, and ensures better compatibility by using actual environments instead of simulators. Benefits include faster debugging with session videos/logs, seamless CI/CD integration, and reliable cross-platform testing that catches issues early.

Simplifies Cross-Device Testing, but Chrome-Only Extensions Are Limiting
What do you like best about the product?
It simplifies testing across different devices without having to actually buy them. It also helps me debug issues that the Android Virtual Device or the iOS Simulator don’t always catch.
What do you dislike about the product?
Extensions are exclusive to Google Chrome, and as much as I’d like to use them, it’s not enough to convince me to switch browsers. Give Firefox some love.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it to see how apps and websites behave across different versions of Android and iOS. I haven’t had time to explore the other tools yet, like automated testing, but they seem like they could be useful.
