BrowserStack
What do you like best about the product?
I like that you can easily troubleshoot customer issues, as this is essential for our support tema at times.
What do you dislike about the product?
My dislike is that the free trial you can only use the browser version for a very short amount of time. It would be nice to have a free 30 day trial or longer time to test to see if this product is something we should buy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have sometimes problems getting on our website via different browser or systems so this helps us validate if it is a browser issue
Still a super valuable tool
What do you like best about the product?
Browserstack likes to play bait and switch with reviews, promising 20€ vouchers and then saying "oops, you were too late" after you finalize your review.
What do you dislike about the product?
The Automate UI can be a little convoluted at times. Id' love to have more ways to group and sub-group tests.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Detecting issues in specific devices/browsers, external changes to our services caused by 3rd party dependecies, subtle integration changes that unit tests can't detect in dev environments.
It helps reduce time to detect and to mitigate bugs. It helps reduce downtime and lost revenue.

Efficient cross-browser testing platform with minor integration hurdles
What do you like best about the product?
BrowserStack provides an excellent environment for cross-browser and cross-device testing without requiring physical access to multiple devices. The platform’s ease of use, wide range of supported browsers, and real device testing capabilities significantly streamline QA processes. The instant access to virtual devices is particularly helpful for debugging and validating responsive designs efficiently. Their integration with CI/CD pipelines further simplifies automated testing workflows.
What do you dislike about the product?
While the platform is robust, the integration with certain CI/CD tools can be cumbersome to set up initially, especially for custom configurations. Additionally, the performance of live testing can occasionally lag on some real devices, which might slow down workflows. Pricing could also be more competitive for smaller teams or projects with limited budgets.

It streamlines our QA process, ensures compatibility across platforms, and integrates seamlessly with our automation workflows, saving time and improving product quality.

Improving Usability for Beginners in BrowserStack
What do you like best about the product?
BrowserStack is great for device related testing, and we are using it for mobile apps. Since we manage content in AEM CMS, we use BrowserStack to review the changes efficiently.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main issue is that it can be challenging for beginners to navigate and get started. The user interface should be more straightforward and intuitive for first time users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We actively use it for mobile app testing. Since our content is managed in AEM CMS, we depend on Browser Stack for verifying the changes made in the CMS across various devices. This ensures that the content and design render correctly on mobile platforms. We use Browser Stack for testing both staging and production environments to validate updates before and after deployment. It helps in testing of different devices and operating systems helps us maintain a consistent user experience across platforms.
Wide Device Range
What do you like best about the product?
I like that BrowserStack provides ready-to-use devices, saving us the need to purchase our own. It offers a wide range of testing devices on multiple platforms and OS, which is a great help for us since our software needs to run on various platforms and up-to-date OS. This variety allows us to verify the quality and behavior of our software across different devices. The initial setup of BrowserStack is not difficult and can be done by non-tech people, except for the SSO integration. Overall, I'd rate it perhaps 8 or 9 out of 10 for recommending it to others.
What do you dislike about the product?
The main concern is pricing. It is not competitive compared to the alternatives. Also, when new device models become available on the market, it would be great if BrowserStack could add them to their device pool quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
BrowserStack provides ready-to-use devices, eliminating our need to purchase them. It offers a wide range of testing devices on multiple platforms and OS, helping us verify our software's quality and behavior effectively.
