What I like most about OneSignal is its simplicity of integration with mobile applications. The dashboard is clear, the statistics are useful for analyzing user engagement, and the management of notification campaigns is very convenient.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I like less is that some advanced features are only available in the paid plans. But I understand why.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
OneSignal solves the problem of sending real-time push notifications. Thanks to this tool, I can quickly communicate with the users of my application. I use it in my forum and it allows me to send statistics notifications to users.
ITS really unbeliveable how easy it is to setup everything and schedule ur first campaign

Time from signing up to scheduling first campaign is super short that is really for respect.

Since we are on free plan,nothing to complaing about

Regardless if trying to reach users with push notifications or email, its very intuitive and super simple to start,even for users that are not used to such things.
Very good tool for starters, even for non techies, very intuitive to setup

If i had to pick 1 thing, that would be synonym for onesignal, that is definitly intuitive dahboard and ease of use

It used to be very hard to engage with users, and website visitors, but after signing up with onesignal, life is much easier now. Simple, super easy.

Audience segmentation, real-time push delivery, and smooth API integration are the standout strengths for me. Setting up campaigns feels straightforward and approachable, even for non-technical users. Performance has been reliable for regular notifications, and the documentation keeps implementation fairly hassle-free from start to finish.

I’ve noticed occasional delays in real-time analytics updates, and some of the more advanced features take a little time to fully understand and get comfortable with.

OneSignal helps me manage and send push notifications to users quickly, which makes it easier to share updates and offers without relying only on email. It also helps keep users engaged and improves their response to announcements and promotions.

The API integration, I like that they have multiple sdks but the API gives you so much control over what you want to do

None really, asides from the fact I still needed a firebase app to push notifications for android. Its not really an issue but I think it would be even more awesome if I didn't need to do that

What is our primary use case?
I have been using OneSignal for the past eight years, even in my previous roles.
OneSignal is one of the best customer engagement platforms that enables developers, marketers, and product teams to engage and retain customers through email, mobile push, web push, SMS, in-app messages, and endless other channels via webhooks. I typically use it for my day-to-day work to empower cross-channel communication via transactional and marketing messages.
OneSignal is a wonderful solution for that; after our initial demonstration and integrations, we realized we could use it for much more, so we started using it for their in-app messaging functions, as well as doing some A/B testing on user communication.
What is most valuable?
In my opinion, the best features that OneSignal offers include the ability to send instant notifications without any delay, providing all necessary features for testing, being a highly cost-effective alternative, being a great system to handle huge volumes, and having great customer support.
OneSignal has been high uptime, reliability, and high performance always, so I have never had issues with scale or performance.
OneSignal can send push notifications to all major browsers and devices, and it is very easy to set up and integrate with third-party services. Overall, this tool has helped us reduce our cost of customer acquisition and increased our conversion rate using it.
OneSignal has positively impacted our organization by increasing our conversion rate from 27% to 40% and our retention rate from 43.4% to 55.5%, and it has been a very great tool because OneSignal has allowed us to grow the number of subscribers in a short time organically.
The workflow in OneSignal helped boost those conversion and retention rates.
What needs improvement?
I am not certain how OneSignal works for SMS messaging as I have not yet tried it, and I would not necessarily recommend it for in-apps especially if they are very rare.

OneSignal is very stable; I have not experienced any lagging or slow performance.

I rate OneSignal nine out of ten.
I gave it a nine because I believe OneSignal is the best option when it comes to push notifications; their platform is top-notch for push notifications, their pricing model is fair, and their customer support is great, which holds it back from a 10.
My advice to others looking into using OneSignal is to highly recommend it because OneSignal is good when you need a one-stop solution for push notifications on your multiple platform apps.
