    Non-Profit Organization Management

Super helpful!

What do you like best about the product?
I love that I don't have to remember all my passwords. I can store them in Dashlane and then forget about them. Now I only have to remember my Dashland password.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the system logs out at inconvenient times
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dashlane has made it easier to share passwords and have a more secure system for our business

It's good, with some minor annoyances

What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can store a sufficient amount of passwords on the free version. Now that this app is fully online, it's one less app to have on your desktop. It does a great job identifying the websites, generating unique passwords, and sharing passwords with teammates without exposing them.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it auto-fills passwords when I don't want them to. There's a way to turn this off, but it's just slightly annoying to have to do it. It will correct the password even if I am manually entering a different password into the text field. We also have to re-login to Dashlane every 14 days, which is a bit annoying.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have a ton of passwords I need to save for work and I know they will never all be the same. It's a great way to generate unique passwords and have them stored securely.

Powerful tool for sharing and storing sensitive login / password information across an organization

  • June 02, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
They have both an inbuilt (chrome extension) browser version, a web app, and also a desktop application. Its very easy to share login / passwords with your colleagues and you can restrict their access (e.g. they can see and edit the login details or simply just use them but cannot see or change them).
What do you dislike about the product?
I enjoy using the desktop application but it seems it is going to be deprecated. The chrome extension is sometimes annoying as it will autofill fields automatically (such as a new form you are trying to fill out) but then if you turn it off you need to reload the page every time you want to turn it on again.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sharing login details / passwords of customer's websites or applications across our organization

It was the best, and still should be, but buggy and poor customer support lately

What do you like best about the product?
The product is exceptionally well designed and works on all of my devices. I'm able to store a lot more than passwords too. Secure notes, payment information, license and SS cards. It's super useful and the overall design of the product is better than any of the competitor I've tried. And I have total confidence in the security of my information.
What do you dislike about the product?
About 6 months ago the service started degrading. Features don't work as well as they used to. Often the Chrome extension doesn't fill in fields or fills in the wrong information or just doesn't work at all. It's very frustrating. At least 5 times per day I have to manually lookup passwords which takes vital time away from my day. But the biggest issue is their customer support. It's really bad. When I submit a ticket, it takes at least 3 or 4 back-and-forth messages with the agent just to get them to stop sending me canned responses that don't actually address my question. I'm extremely detailed when writing my support tickets, its very clear what I'm asking, but they rarely answer it directly. And then finally after numerous emails and re-assignment of team members I get the standard line "thanks for the feedback, we'll let the team know". Then nothing. The last 5 support tickets I submitted were simply not resolved and no explanation of when they might be. This includes a ticket regarding passwords for Google sites not working for over 9 months. Huh, 9 months. Google passwords? Probably the most common of any passwords kept in Dashlane by any user? And they can't resolve it or even attempt to resolve it in 9 months? Terrible.

For years I was literally the biggest fan. I've convinced no less than 20 people to start using Dashlane and now I'm extremely disappointed to the point of leaving.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Two main things: secure storage of passwords and easy access to passwords. They ace the first problem, but are not delivering like they used to on the second problem. I have learned a lot about password security, password complexity and general productivity through the use of the product which has been invaluable. I just wish they would fix some of the issues.

Deeply flawed product

  • November 11, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It has apps on all devices and most browsers
What do you dislike about the product?
It is buggy, support is poor, I saw fraudulent transaction from Dashlane and they were not helpful in refunding. Reported the fraud and awaiting investigation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I realized that you should avoid scammers and fraudulent businesses like dashlane.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Stay away. If they cannot be trusted be payments, how can you trust them passwords.

Does exactly what you would like for it to do - Privacy and Passwords

  • September 01, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The Chrome extension and app are simple to use and provide options for you to navigate directly to the site to log in. Quick to change passwords if/when needed. The option to save as many different passwords for sites that I wish is the largest benefit for the platform. Notable changes could be to save payment information, this may be an option already however it's not one that I've utilized myself so I'm not sure if it has already been implemented.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are times where the information does not auto-populate into a website's field. I find that this occurs on the same sites so it may not be an issue with Dashlane but rather the sites themselves. The workaround is to either 1) click multiple times on the login information fields e.g. where you enter your email OR to close the browser and then reopen the browser and extension/app then select the site you're wanting to log into from here.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Benefits - password management and sharing between a team. Does what you want it to do and ensures that your data is protected. Currently, I am using this for over 30 different websites, many of which require daily login. It also prevents teams from missing information/resetting team passwords for multi-user accounts and having to reset it, due to the sharing option that is in place for passwords.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It does the job - provided that you are happy with the price point, go with Dashlane. Simple, effective and easy to use. This should be used for large, small and independently operated businesses.

Great tool for teams

  • August 27, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that I am able to easily create and share passwords with other members of my team. The notes option allows us to keep all the information we need to log in in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
On some websites, it is difficult to disable it from automatically logging me in or to get rid of the dashlane auto-population feature.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our company needed a way to securely store, share and organize our clients information. This has saved us so much time and effort in collecting and organizing our clients information and always ensures we have the most up-to-date information available to all the members of our team. The categories allow us to easily organize all the different passwords by client so pulling up info is always a breeze.

Great for helping me keep things secure

What do you like best about the product?
I have tons of passwords and it’s so much better to only need to remember one secure password. I can also share passwords with partners securely.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish I could use fingerprint recognition on my phone instead of constantly needing to input master password
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping things secure, knowing when a data breach has been reported.

Easy to share with my virtual assistants.

  • August 06, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Three things I like about Dashlane -
1) I have virtual assistants all over the world, full-time and project-based. It allows me to easily share login information with limited access so they can't change the password or access the billing information.
2) I can quickly revoke access to any person in one click.
3) If something happens to me, my two contacts that I have provided will get an email from Dashlane after 48 hours of me not responding (because I'm either dead or incapacitated) and will get access to all of my accounts.

Bonus - I have been alerted by Dashlane of breaches to credit card accounts before I was even alerted by the credit card companies!
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes Dashlane is slow to populate on a website and I have to open the app to copy the password. Not a deal-breaker, but I like it when it is automatically entered. It could be an issue with the browser and not Dashlane.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allowing me to share my login information with my team members in a safe manner is critical. I also have clients that share information with me so I can get into their systems. I'm a productivity speaker and coach and having a reliable password management system is one of my top recommendations.

The best app for passwords in a world that needs so many!

  • August 06, 2020
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
This app installs and updates with ease and allows me to track and change numerous passwords
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface between certain browsers fails but it is normally easily fixed
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have multiple passwords for many accounts and needed a way to track and keep updated across the board. This app makes it easy. When you need to change passwords, it always gives you pause, but this app allows for a seamless way to do so and not fear you will forget and get locked out of sites. It also reminds you to update and when passwords are breached.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would highly recommend this app for the security and features it offers. I have used the personal app for years and have found nothing better! This is the app for passwords in a vault!
