What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Centralised passwords
Not recommended at all, go for 1password that's cheaper and you can pay on a monthly basis.
What do you like best about the product?
The application is very intuitive, especially for saving passwords after logging in, also the mobile application is really good and works pretty well with Android and iOS.
What do you dislike about the product?
You can only pay annually, which is pretty bad if you are for example outsourcing professionals, even if you hire someone for a couple of months, you have to pay an annual license of Dashlane, so this makes this product very expensive.
Finally, after a year of NOT using it because it's too expensive for a mid-size company, I've spent half an hour trying to cancel my subscription to discover there is NO way you can cancel it using the dashboard, so I'm contacting support to see how this process is done.
I will recommend looking for other alternatives that can be paid on a monthly basis and are not forcing you to renew by hiding the cancel button.

We were using dashlane to share passwords between all our different departments, making sure the passwords keep updated and that only the people that are allowed have access to it.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I will not recommend to others, I will go with something you can pay on a monthly basis, and do not force you to renew your plan by hiding the cancel button.

What do you like best about the product?
I used to like how I can use it on my phone and it has dark web monitoring, easy-to-use, and a clean interface with excellent support. Lately there is nothing but errors.
What do you dislike about the product?
All the issues. the force -closing, the inability to sync all of my passwords and debit cards. It's just a hastle anymore.

I liked the balance of price and functionality. They also are continuously improving to try and keep up with competitors.
What do you dislike about the product?
With their infusion of funding, they've been hiking the prices but their functionality hasn't kept up with a lot of their competitors that they're now at the same price point with.
The administration and management of it don't cater to larger companies as you scale. Groups and user management aren't very efficient.
It also continues to have flaws in its usability that is a roadblock to adoption.

Dashlane makes it easy to create unique and complex passwords for all your accounts and easily saves them.

Does not work the same for all websites.

The best problem Dashlane solves is it easily creates complex passwords for all my accounts to guarantee no reused passwords.

Browser based plugin which saves credentials automatically. Random Password generator which helps to create non-dictionary based alpha numeric password.

Categorization is removed from browser plugin. This was part of desktop app.

Dashlane helped us to maintain credentials in more secure way. Also, it provides a dashboard of password strength.

Easy to use. Easy to implement. Secure.
Dashlane has a very good and secure concept and is in a constant process of improvement!

Good product with minor flaws

I've integrated all my passwords with Dashlane and set it up on all my devices, and it's crazy useful.
As a team, we're sharing passwords on the go, and it helps us reduce the costs of some tools while increasing our overall cybersecurity.

What do you dislike about the product?
There is something to do to improve onboarding for new employees. It feels like we have to explain how Dashane works and what it can do. This work could be done by Dashlane rather than us.
There are also some weird UX features: I don't get why we have to accept invitations to be part of a group or accept password sharing.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're improving cybersecurity and sharing passwords and notes safely. Password sharing allows us to save money on tools where we don't need individual accounts. We're also gaining time on regular fields filling (passwords + basic info).

I love the zero knowledge policy regard accounts. We also appreciate Dashlane's approach to seeking out ways to improve

Early on we had some deployment issues but Dashlane listened to our feedback and correct those issues.

We have truly only seen benefits. Our end user password security has increased dramatically and help us promote a security mind approach in the organization

It's a great product with great people
Dashlane has had it's glitches but overall has been good.

The downside of Dashlane is some glitches in sharing and syncing.
