Dashlane has been my ONLY thought for password vault for years!
What do you like best about the product?
Dashlanes' investment and abilities across devices stand out daily, whether going from a work device to a personal one or changing operating systems/browsers – it's superb.
What do you dislike about the product?
Call me outdated in 2023, but I miss their support of a desktop app for Mac/PC after they moved to browser support only.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeping passwords secure, unique and in one-place is all I ask from a password vault, and Dashlane is top-notch!
Streamlining Password Management to a degree that's almost perfect
What do you like best about the product?
Dashlane impresses with its advanced password management capabilities. The most commendable feature is its ability to share passwords securely between employees, thereby enhancing collaborative work without compromising access or security. This is a significant benefit for business environments where multiple users need access to the same accounts.
The division between personal and business passwords is a well-thought-out feature, allowing for a clear separation of different types of data. This separation offers users an excellent way to manage and compartmentalize their passwords.
Synchronization across all devices and platforms is virtually seamless, making password management effortless and stress-free. Whether you're on your phone or your desktop computer, Dashlane ensures you have access to your password data.
The security alerts provided by Dashlane are invaluable. If an account has been compromised or if a password is discovered on the dark web, Dashlane sends notifications immediately. This proactive approach to security is a huge plus, keeping users informed and helping them stay one step ahead of potential threats.
The automatic sign-on feature and automatic input of credit card and banking data significantly reduce the time spent on tedious data entry. These features not only make online shopping smoother but also increase the overall internet navigation efficiency.

What do you dislike about the product?
Despite its many strengths, Dashlane does have room for improvement. Its integration with Safari is, frankly, somewhat clunky. The experience isn't as smooth as it could be, and it sometimes disrupts the ease of use that is otherwise so prominent in this password manager.
The space provided for viewing notes within a password entry is also somewhat lacking. Having more space would make this feature more usable and functional, especially for those who need to jot down important information related to their accounts.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dashlane has been a lifesaver for me, solving some key problems in my day-to-day digital life. It's now so much easier to manage and share passwords with my colleagues securely, reducing the risk of unauthorized access. The clear separation between my personal and business passwords has helped me stay organized, and the automatic syncing across all my devices means I never have to worry about accessing my passwords, no matter where I am. The added security alerts have given me peace of mind, knowing that I'm always informed about any potential risks to my accounts.
Simplicity and security
What do you like best about the product?
Dashlane is a tool that I have used for many years. Having kept up with the latest developments, it is really pleasing to see that they are meeting the needs of customers. As well as being there to answer questions and ensure the security of our accounts.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the window offering data stored in Dashlane is intrusive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Generate random passwords that can be secured, store notes securely and offer a quality VPN.
Life changing tool
What do you like best about the product?
Dashlane allows you to secure your online self. You no longer need to remember so many complex passwords, which leads people to reuse non-complex passwords or store them unsafely, like a document or spreadsheet. I would never go back to the old ways.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing. This tool has nothing but upside
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing many complex passwords wih ease. Managing both personal and business passwords in one place. Sharing business passwords with colleagues is very easy to do.
a LIFESAVER!
What do you like best about the product?
Ability to share common supplier account passwords with just the people who need them is awesome. And employees can use for personal passwords too.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it's a bit complicated for some users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
tracking hundreds of passwords
Extremely hand app for password/info autofill
What do you like best about the product?
It's an intuitive app that helps me store all information and find it just as easily. I've been very happy with this product and look forward to seeing them evolve.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's got some kinks with the auto-fill functions but nothing terrible. There is also a slight delay when sharing updated passwords that creates some confusion.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A one-source location for all passwords that allows me to deploy information per department and groups.
Does the job. But a may have to recreate new passwrods after uploading from other Password Managers.
What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to generate new passwords and keep them secure.
What do you dislike about the product?
Cannot create folders to organize passwords visually. You can only create categories.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allowing us to share passwords among colleagues as well as keep track of passwords so they're not written down on paper or reused.
Extremely useful and improves cybersecurity safety in both the workplace and for personal use
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use across devices and browsers. I feel significantly safer knowing I have complex passwords and can easily review them with Dashlane.
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasionally, Dashlane will automatically fill in forms that I don't want it to, and it can sometimes be hard to turn off for those websites/sessions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have more than 300 username/password combinations for business and personal use. Prior to using Dashlane, I had many reused or similar passwords and had a hard time keeping track of everything. I had lost track of many logins. Since moving myself and my business to Dashlane a few years ago, I don't have to remember any and my passwords are all unique and look something like this: Hk#8m6QaBox5$Ciy. Additionally, the sharing function is very helpful in the workplace and I plan to set this up within my household as well, in case of emergency. There is some initial work of setting things up and replacing poor passwords with complex ones, but as you complete that process you will feel much safer and understand the risks you had previously.
Ease of managing my passwords
What do you like best about the product?
I love that Dashlane also has many extra features that its competitors don't have. I have used NordPass and now Dashlane, and even the free version of Dashlane has more features that NordPass doesn't have, plus the autosave works very well.
What do you dislike about the product?
In general terms, Dashlane is elegant and has many features, the only thing I don't like as much is that it can only generate passwords up to 40 digits, NordPass allows me to do it with 60, perhaps for some 40 is enough, personally for me the longer the password, the more security it provides.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Currently, in the company, we had meetings regarding security. In that meeting, it was concluded that it is necessary to provide greater security for our credentials. To address this, I am using Dashlane.
Want to love Dashlane but it is glitchy at times
What do you like best about the product?
We use within our organization and share password access teamwide to assist in project management.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find Dashlane glitchy when a password is updated and shared it often take days to sync across all shared accounts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Access client platforms for internal team members. Keeping passwords secured in one place. Preventing Team Member from accidentally updating passwords and forgetting to share access.
