A vault for all credentials

  • July 31, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
This is very easy to use and it has a quite user friendly interface, the moment I logged in to it, it started saving my passwords which helped me in logging to different websites without remembering my credentials or entering it daily.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing to be disliked about dashlane, it fulfil my needs
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
One of the most advantageous features of Dashlane is the option to select 'Save Login Details for 14 days,' which allows you to access your passwords for a period of 14 days without the need to log in repeatedly. Additionally, I appreciate the application's extension, which significantly enhances its ease of use.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the broad spectrum of protection features included with the subscription. Also the price is much better than other password vaults that don't feature so many benefits. I especially like the dark web monitoring and the VPN.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is no way to organize my logins by category or label
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I like the ability to share logins without disclosing credentials

Password Manager Made Simple

  • July 15, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It's not one of the import security features, but the fact that Dashlane submits a page for where you have selected the usr+pwd makes me smile every time - one less click to do.
What do you dislike about the product?
Absolutely nothing bad about Dashlane at all!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Means we have an affordable consistent business wide password manager.

A must-have for modern businesses

What do you like best about the product?
I am so glad as an IT Manager in the knowledge that our company now uses randomly generated passwords, and that we have an up to date and secure place to manage shared logins. I love that it is available on all platforms, and that your 2FA codes are available on every device, as opposed to traditional options where it only on the one phone.

The folks here have really managed to get a grasp of it pretty quickly, I was thinking that I was going to have a lot of trouble convincing people to switchover and understand both the "why" we're doing it, along with how to use Dashlane itself.

I think it's fantastic as an administrator that I can see a secure score, it really helps me to identify employees who may need a bit of help with their password management, or that I might need to do a bit more training with the team.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think we could improve by having a silent/forced accept share option as a manager. In the beginning, I would have set up a lot of shared credentials, and waiting for the recipient to accept a share is a tad annoying as an admin.

I could see as a user how it would make sense, but for onboarding, I would like to be able to load people up with plenty of shared items upfront.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's improving our security as people were using easy to guess combinations, and when resetting their passwords, they were just changing the year number they had at the end.
Dashlane allowed us to minimise shared accounts, and give teams the power to have their own individual user accounts on the platforms that support it. That greatly improves security, but also accountability, both when the person is employed since their activity is linked to their own account, but also if you need to let someone go, there isn't this huge list of plain text passwords for shared accounts that they have access to.

works fine an keeps step with changes in industry

What do you like best about the product?
I use Dashlane since about 2015 every day in business and in private.
I came across it through a newspaper article in the Swiss Neue Züricher Zeitung.
What was important to me right from the start was that I could use Dashlane anywhere on PC, on the web and on the iPhone.like PC, iPhone.
Even though I found it difficult to switch from a permanently installed app on the Windows PC to the web app, I am ultimately very impressed with the current functionality of the web client.
The Implementation of 2FA was a mayor gain.
The custromer support ist mostly but not always helpful.
Ease of Integration? Everythin is fine so far I am concerned.
What do you dislike about the product?
1. Handling of subdomains like sub.maindomain.com.
If there are plenty of such subdomains its complicated to configure auto-login.
2. Automatic completion can mess the entries in a configuration form with password-like entries
3. For German users with poor knowledge of English, Dashlane can be a pain.
4. No method to share or export a set of passwords for a custormer installation.
5. I missed personal support when switching from a personal Dashlane to the Business Team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It simplifies login and registration processes.

What do you like best about the product?
The extension for auto-filling on Chrome is really superb
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing, it works well, sometimes it pre-fills unsolicited fields but nothing very serious
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I manage all my passwords, generate them with Dashlane, and it auto-fills everything for me, it's magical.

What do you like best about the product?
User friendly. Thoughtful UX. Easy to use. Good features, but not bloated. Helpful premium features like premium VPN.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's more expensive than others, however you do really get what you pay for, and when you factor in the premium VPN and the fact that you'll enjoy using it, it feels like excellent value.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Storing and securely sharing passwords, ID's and payment info.

What do you dislike about the product?
The UI is a bit non intuative sometimes and the application slow as it's not native.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's much easier to share and keep safe passwords for everyone in the company

Dashlane is a good password manager, but team functionality gets complicated.

  • April 25, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to login, access my passwords, and create new accounts
What do you dislike about the product?
The Dashlane teams featuers are not quite there. I don't know how the entire "teams" functionality works. I don't remember the onboarding explaining it verywell. As a result, I'm not making the most of this feature which I really wish I was.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Keeps all my passwords safe in an easy to use interface. My passwords are autopopulated on sites that I use. Very convenient.

Full-featured corporate and personal password protection across devices

  • April 24, 2024
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Dashlane has lots of levers to help you organize different passwords to the same platform. Works great for test and dev environments.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd like to not have to pay for upgrade by a cc when our corporate account is subject to different terms.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We need to share access across the team without divulging the credentials. This is a great tool for allowing our users to be secure regardless of how they are accessing sites.
