Dashlane Use at HTLC

What do you like best about the product?
It proves quite convenient and surprises me with it's ease.
What do you dislike about the product?
The automatic filling in could use a bit of work. Fills out when it shouldn't sometimes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps us securely create and store passwords. We use the generator for new staff logins.

What do you like best about the product?
Great mobile app that I can take with me anywhere. Easy to setup and educate users how to use it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Support is difficult to find a solution and no real phone number to call or contact. Wish there was a support agent to reach out to.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automating logins and giving password health

Very good, but not perfect password & payments manager

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It's fairly easy to use, and it's effective across devices and browsers via the app, plugin, and web app. It's organized, easy to update, and the auto-fill feature is terrific.
What do you dislike about the product?
The autofill is not as consistent as I'd like. Sometimes it works, sometimes it tries to fill in appropriate fields and can't be turned off, and sometimes it tries to populate the wrong info.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Generating unique, strong passwords and keeping track of it all across myriad accounts is the key pain point being solved here. And, the auto fill (when it works properly) is a huge time saver in accessing/using the passwords. It is also great for payments - storing various payment methods that then accelerate the checkout or payment process is also very helpful.

Great password manager!

What do you like best about the product?
Pretty straightforward & easy to setup. Convenient Admin portal which allows you to manage all users & maintain a good password health score. Handy tips on weak/used passwords.
What do you dislike about the product?
I believe we are missing good guides to use Dashlane, it can be confusing for users to maintain a personal & company space. More clarity & setup guide for first-time login would be helpful. Good idea to list the do's & don'ts to clarify what is visible to the company admin & what isn't such as spaces.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy management of users & password health score.

Very convenient being cloud based. Easily accessible on mobile devices.
What do you dislike about the product?
Master Password gets annoying at times..
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We've disabled the ability to save passwords on browsers. Dashlane is the solution to work around this while being compliant.

    Religious Institutions

It does the job of managing passwords, but the UI is not the best

What do you like best about the product?
It stores passwords, allows sharing and has entral management.
What do you dislike about the product?
When a user leaves the organisation, its not possible for their manager or a delegated person to access the passwords, which is a massive issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Storing passwords in a secure way, allowing sharing within the organisation.

Not perfect, but helpful!

What do you like best about the product?
I do like how you can distinguish between a personal profile and a business profile. I also love that you can share passwords with other uses as well and can limit what gets shared.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have to log into the master password EVERY SINGLE DAY, even after checking the box "keep me logged in for 14 days". Some days I am required to sign in multiple times. If this is a glitch on my end, would love support in understanding why this is happening.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Storing all of the passwords required

Reliable Solution

What do you like best about the product?
Is a seamless solution about 95% of the time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Multi-page logins sometimes trick it. I wish I had better management tools to merge or delete unused information.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Store passwords. Generate random passwords. Store payment information. Store secure notes.

Longterm customer. Password vaults are so important, this one doesn't suck

  • February 19, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Over the last 8+ years, I've evaluated 3 different times what password manager I disliked the least. Dashlane was it - for several reasons. Ease of use/user experience, ethics/company values and location, customer support, and features.
What do you dislike about the product?
Unfortunately, the one issue that still exists as I sell the company/domain I started with, is you can't change your username/primary email. This is a longstanding frustration and a strange design decision (primary key anyone?) but alas, it did afford me an opportunity as I move to a new Dashlane account to clean a lot of stuff up. So I'll call it an annoyance but also a win.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
If I could just be a keychain user with ios, I would as that is my choice of hardware platform these days (still) but alas, there are other systems and devices that I'm happy to have independent control of that has made Dashlane valuable.
